Have to take it back again this times to get a 1039.00 ac repair done on a core after a 1300.00 replaced ac pump 8 months before to blow cold its still blowing 80 degrees out of the vents ac on high. So now 9-22-21 Ill take it back with 2,339.00 New Dealer installed AC that still dose what it was doing 8 months ago, blowing warm air.New:PumpAC Core2,339.00Where did I go wrong here?

I am so disappointed and done with the service department. I made an appointment on line October 12th to bring my 2011 GMC Terrain in on 10/13/2021 because my dash was displaying that the a/c was turned off due to extremely high engine temperatures. The website asked if I was going to wait for my vehicle and I responded yet. This is the same issue that I took the vehicle in for in July 2021 and then replaced the engine coolant sensor that they diagnosed as the problem. When I arrived for my 3:00 PM appointment, I was told that Id have to leave my car, they had no rental or loaner vehicles and the transport person had already left for the day.Cody the service advisor is very dishonest and does not return telephone calls. He called me Saturday, October 16th and advised that the thermostat was stuck open and the repair would cost $465 dollars but hed give me a discount bringing it down to $413. I told him to make the repair but called right back because I have an extended warrant through EasyCare. He said he couldnt contact them until Monday and mechanic assigned to my vehicle would be back on Tuesday. I contacted EasyCare at approximately 2:30 P.M., on Monday and was told no one from Capitol Chevrolet had made contact. Cody would not return my calls so I stopped by after work on Wednesday. He said it turned out that my assigned mechanic/technician was out the whole week, my car was assigned to another one who was working me in. I asked if hed contacted Easycare and he said theyd want a diagnosis. I reminded him that he called and told me that they diagnosed the thermostat as being stuck open to which he responded they were still looking and that wasnt a final diagnosis. My father went there the next day, called and told me that they were working on my vehicle and it would probably be ready that day. Cody called me at work at 4:53 PM, advised that the vehicle was ready, I only had to pay my deductible and the thermostat was the problem. After I arrived and paid my $100 deductible, the receipt showed that the total repair was $285 dollars.I will never purchase another vehicle from there or take mine back for repair unless I absolutely have to. A young lady was complaining that shed brought her car back for the same problem for the 5th time; she does not live in Montgomery and no other mechanic would intervene because Capitol Chevrolet did the initial repair. The service department has really gone down hill and I first realized it in July of this year. Expect dishonesty and to receive the run around if you use Capitol Chevrolets service department. I left a message for Cody this afternoon to advise him that although they charged $25 for coolant, the container is almost empty. Of course hes not returned my call.

I scheduled a 7:30am service appointment a couple weeks in advance. I dropped my truck off the night before the appointment. I called the day of the appointment to confirm they received the keys in the drop box which they did confirm. I never received a call back about the service. I called them shortly before they closed and was told they did not get to my truck and they may be able to the next day. Why even schedule an appointment? Needless to say I cancelled the service and went elsewhere.This lack of professionalism will keep me from ever trusting them to get the job done. Ive had a similar issue with Capital Hyundai in Montgomery so it appears to be a company-wide management issue.Please note that I am not reviewing the Sales department as I had no interaction with them. This is just related to the Service department or lack thereof.

Returned for completion of work initiated in May 2021. The Service Manager accommodated my tight schedule and was able to get me in on the day and at the time I requested. The issue was diagnosed and resolved in a timely manner thanks to Mr. Luke and the mechanic and I was on my way.

Took my vehicle in for oil change and tire rotation and was told that a tire rotation was extra even with me having purchased tires from the dealership spoke with service manager and was told this was something he started on June 1, but I was told that as long as I had car and tires I could have tires rotated with oil change. Had to wait to see General Manager to get rotation done. The service manager wasnt very helpful at all and seemed to not even care about my concerns. I spent 2 hours in the dealership all over a 20.00 tire rotation charge. Ive been a valued customer of Capitol, but will never purchase another car nor will I recommend this company for anything.

I took my car in for a/c service. I was told there were no loaner cars and I was never offered a rental. The inconvenience of having to find a ride to and from work was very hard. My car was fixed supposedly within a week. I got my car drove it for a week and the a/c went out again after paying $2008. I had to take it back at this point I demanded a loaner or rental car which was provided. It took 19 days this time for me to get a call saying it was ready. I went to the dealership to pickup my car only to be told it wasn’t ready because something else went wrong. I was given a loaner for two days and a bill for almost $700. I really feel if my vehicle was thoroughly check the first time we would not have had to go through this. I don’t feel it was fair for me to be charged twice for something that should have been caught the first time. I spoke with the manager and the general manager Jason who assured me they would work something out financially because of the inconvenience of all of this but neither of them would talk to me the day I picked my car up. I am very displeased with the service and customer service at this point. I would love to talk to someone about my experience.

Came in for a oil change. Waited 30 minutes before anybody even got to me even tho I had a appointment. Then the total was way higher than it normally was. The guy at the desk says yeah they are charging for tire rotation now. It would have been nice to know this in the beginning. Just common courtesy. What if I didn’t have enough money on me for that. The coupons are useless. Every time I try to use one the total has never gone down. Stays the same price every time with or without it. $107 for a oil change? Yeah I’ll be going elsewhere next time. The people are all over the place and it’s just not organized. A lot of waiting around just to pay to get out of there. Service department definitely needs some improvement!!

I chose the one I liked and we started the paperwork. In less than an hour and a half I was the owner of a new 2021 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss. Thanks Ed for making it easy.

Dude said I was missing a part he can get to it the next day…I ended up having to get car back and they still have no idea what’s wrong with it but I will never come back or even buy a car young dude there have no idea what he’s doing I just left knowing how bad they wanted it to rob me…. Had my truck in to service at 8am for a service light they got it right in to there work area never heard a word tell we called at 12:30 finally got a call back 130 say they were going to flush the fuel system and it would take about an hour in the mean time they sent there courtesy driver home at 3:00 we are stuck at the hotel tell they find a driver with 4 of our grandchildren hoping to see my truck again soon I would hope I would not recommend this place to know one

My appointment was scheduled for 10am for tires and oil change. At 1:30, I checked on my car as I chose to wait, in was informed that they still had to go get the tires!! My appointment was scheduled days before so not having the tires on hand was not acceptable. My car was finally ready around 3:30. I left the dealership and had to return because my tire pressure was not balanced. All tires had different readings and was entirely too far off. This should have been checked upon installing the new tires, after all installation was $16 per tire. This entire experience was awful

This place is a complete rip off. I went for an oil change and tire rotation, also asked them to even the air out in my tires. It cost 133 dollars. I was charged separately for each individual thing . Ok fine but 25 dollars to put air in a tire. Absurd they took hours and had maybe 5 customers only had one service person. So it seems they are understaffed and they need to look at pricing. This is not the first time I’ve had an issue here. Tried to give them another chance but I will definitely taking business elsewhere. I’ve never had this issue with any Chevy dealership anywhere in the country. I would rather drive a little more and go to another.

Bought a car from this dealership and was told it was certified by them. Took it to another dealership two days later because the engine light came on only to find out they did not certify it. $55 later I tried to call the dealership and no one will return my calls. I am returning to call for them to fix it or refund my money. Stay away from them, they are crooks.

Had a few problems with some back office issues but not really Capitols fault. It was handled swiftly and all is well. I have purchased six vehicles from Capital Chevrolet over the last 30 years, and I have always had all of them serviced by Capital Chevrolet or other Chevy dealers where I was stationed. Today I took my Traverse into the dealer for routine oil change. In the past, tires were rotated at no charge. Not only that, I have always received a military discount. NOT ANY MORE!! Im out over a hundred dollars and I am not happy. Thats the last time that happens. I am very unhappy about this. Very disappointed.

I went to Capital Chevrolet May 14, 2021 to look at a Buick LaCrosse that my father and I seen online. When we got there a man informed us that they didn’t have it and that when it came in he would give us a call. He never called so we went back up there May 18, 2021 and was informed that someone put a down payment on the car May 15, 2021. When asked why didn’t anyone call they replied they didn’t know (strike 1). We then talked to someone else, I think his name was Thomas or something he confirmed that someone did put a down payment on that car. He then started looking for more Buick’s but couldn’t find one in our price range that we both liked. After, Thomas said I can write your number down and call you when we have something. The entire time the car that we really wanted was still there as well as still being listed as available online for 2 weeks. I thought maybe they had forgotten to take it down or it was a new car. On May 28, 2021 I decided to tap get my deal on the car online and put my information in someone named Lamont called me I think he was from classic and said the the Buick I was looking at is available and that I can come up there. I gave him my fathers number and told him to call him because I couldn’t talk I was walking into work. Lamont calls my dad tells him about the car and that it is there, then calls back and says someone put a down payment on it May 27, 2021. I feel as if they didn’t want us to get the car it was the same exact car from May 14, 2021 that someone was supposedly put a down payment on I guess 2 people have that car. The communication from sales man to customer was horrible it seemed as if we have to beg for cars there. Extremely agonizing that we had to chase them down for a car that had 2 different down payments.

The service department charged me half of a diagnostic $52 when they really didnt perform a diagnostic due to a low battery. I offered to come get the car and put a new battery in it to get a more accurate reading. They werent very helpful at all.

I would NOT recommend Capitol Chevrolet to anyone! I made an appointment online; however, when I called the morning of my appointment, I was informed my appointment wasnt in the system. I shared I had an email and text message confirmation.My truck was towed to the Service Department. When I asked who had my keys, no one knew. After waiting for approximately 30 minutes, someone finally took my information. I inquired about a Courtesy Shuttle because the Online Specialist claimed a shuttle was available; yet, the in-person specialist said there were no shuttles available.After explaining why my car was towed, I was informed it would take 3 weeks for a diagnosis! I explained I was visiting for the weekend and it was imperative that I leave no later than Tuesday. Next, I was told my car would be diagnosed that day; however, they couldnt promise me it would be repaired the same day. I received a call a few hours later with the diagnosis.The next day, I called to inquire about the status of my vehicle. I was told the mechanic was almost done. After waiting approximately 3 more hours, I called twice for the status of my vehicle. No one in service answered either call. In order to receive an answer, I took an Uber to the dealership. My car was ready; yet, no one called to inform me.I hope I NEVER have to use Capitol Chevrolet ever again!!! Customer Service is nonexistent, the workers are not professional, there is a disconnect between the online portal and the service department, and communication is horrible.

I was told $79.00 dollars for oil change and tire rotation. Once I arrived the price changed to $79 dollars for oil change and $24 dollars for tire rotation. I told them I bought my vehicle from capital Chevrolet but it didn’t make a difference. I could’ve gotten my vehicle done some where else for half the price and been at home. Two and a half hour wait. I told them that I wouldn’t be coming back.

The staff was very unprofessional. Initially, they told me that they were behind a week. Well, after a week passed they had not called to give an update. I called several times and was placed on long holds. When I did speak with someone they had a hostile tone and told me that they hadn’t checked out my car. Well, I picked up my car and got it repaired somewhere else in a day. This isn’t the first time I had problems but it will be my last. I paid for an oil change and other repairs to find out days later that they didn’t do the oil change. I was planning on purchasing another car with the dealership, but I’ll purchase somewhere else. Your staff causes you to lose money due to their lack of professionalism and communication.

Cody was my point of contact and he promised me one day and he lied to saying that it would be the next but when I called to check that day he said there was no mechanic. I paid for a loaner that I used for less than an hour or two while the breaks on my truck were being repaired. I agreed to pay for a loaner that I was previously told was not available by the guy who I think supervises the front end. I needed a car because I had my mother in law with me and needed to pick her up from the doctor. I never received a call that my truck was ready but had to call myself and ask when I specifically asked to be called upon completion. If this same guy who did this to me was my customer, upon returning with the rental, I would have eagerly said don’t worry about the charge for the loaner because you were not gone long and you are a valued customer. The two young ladies at the front were great! The man that works at the front was not. He seems bias to me. I observed him tell a customer he appreciates his service but not willing to accommodate the next. I am glad to have had this opportunity to express my dissatisfaction with Capital. I have drove to Montgomery to have my truck serviced at Capital faithfully for years but I guess that doesn’t account for anything. I will be taking my services elsewhere. Recently purchased my 16 year older daughter a car, but refused to make it at Capital. Gave our business to Ford in Montgomery who will put my daughter in a loaner for free each time her car is being serviced. Also was quoted a ridiculous price from the same guy for a needed repair and I was recently quoted half the amount at another dealership. They will get my 1k. I pray that you all can improve your services to ALL and not some. Be equitable, compassionate and willing to help folks! Otherwise they don’t have to help keep your business thriving.

Danny was very helpful throughout the process of diagnosing my cars issue. It took a while to get it back due to short staffing but he was pretty straight forward that it could be a day or two. Overall I liked my experience here and Danny was very kind and helpful. That said, It is a dealership so the prices were high but that was to be expected. I don’t think that I will buy a Chevy again but that’s because of my cars reliability issues and not due to the service workers who were helpful and willing to explain all of the costs and why my car needed everything which was refreshing since a lot of times people want to brush you off when you ask about it. As far as Chevy dealerships go this is my favorite and I would recommend them.

I know that it was A Holiday and some of the staff were out sick. There were customers coming in after me but they were Served and out before me. Okay thats fine.. lets move to checkout.. they wanted to charge me for diagnostic services .. Long story short the manger help me and soon as i left and cut my car off the check engine light came back on!!

Chevrolet Montgomery has the worst repair center ever. Why are my car parts not tightened down all the way? And my car is still not fixed after going up there twice and spending a total of almost a $1000. This will be the last car I buy directly from yall. Corporate please reach out!!

I have had one bad experience after another with this place. My car was at the collision center for 6 months. The customer service is awful in fact they would avoid my calls tell me misleading information and just plain out lie to get me off the phone then when I requested my car back they kept my vehicle hostage. Jim the manager would lie and say progressive wouldnt release it to the point my adjuster had to get involved and ask about the lies because the check was already cut. My car isn’t painted the right color it looks terrible, don’t even look like it went to a professional shop. They over charged me and my insurance company and finally the most devastating part is my car isn’t even repaired properly it’s painted 2 different colors it’s a crack in my front windshield that wasn’t there 6 months ago when I dropped my car off I can hear air out of door that was supposed to been repaired.. my door handled wasn’t broke 6 months ago it’s broke now.. I don’t recommend this place to anybody. They have an unprofessional rude thug answering the phones who obviously don’t like black people this place is terrible.. DON’T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE

Outstanding Dealership. My daughter is in the Air Force stationed at Maxwell. When her first car died, her high school car, she was forced to buy her first car without me there to help. We found the perfect car at Capital Chevrolet and DeAndre Ward and the General Manager were fantastic. With just a few calls I knew that she would be taken care of. Speedy no and reasonably questionable great service. My appointment was at 9:30. I arrived at 9:40 am. Everyone was courteous and polite as usual. They asked me if I was going to leave the vehicle and I ask the if they had a courteous vehicle or shuttle? They replied no. I told them I would wait on my vehicle. I did not leave until 4 pm ish. That was too long for an oil change and recall that they informed me was minor and that was the reason I could not get a loaner. I missed other afternoon appointments. I dont work there so I should not have been required to pull a shift as if I did.

The sales department is great, but the service department is TERRIBLE. I took my car in for a check engine diagnostic, first I requested a shuttle ride back only to find out when I got there that the person was sick and they had no drivers. Second I was told I would get a call that same day, only to have to call them 5 hours later and find out that they dont do same day service and not only that, but it would be 5 DAYS before they could look at my car with NO loaner vehicles and NO knowledge of when they would even get any available. Meanwhile my car is still under warranty and they are ZERO help to even tell me whats wrong with it. HORRIBLE SERVICE.Update: Tomorrow will be 7 days and my car has not been touched. Called in 2 days ago only to be told that the tech still had not gotten to and they dont know when he will. 7 days after my appointment with no diagnosis and not able to even get a courtesy car, while still covered under their warranty.

Long story short... I went in for an oil change and noticed my truck driving different on my way home. Checked the oil and it was overfilled and kind of dark which means they did not drain all the old oil before refilling. The visit before that the rotated my tires and did not reset the tire pressure monitor. If you get work done here check your vehicle thoroughly before leaving the shop because they do not take time and do professional work.
