The mall is very dead, but the store was organized and there was a good sale.

The store is listed as opening at 11am on Saturday. At 11:06 someone slowly walked up and opened the gate. I was looking for Egyptian cotton sheets. Went the the department. I couldn’t find what I was looking for. So I was going to try one of what they did have. The selection of sheets was dismal. I wanted to feel the texture of the sheet but the zipper had a security lock on it. I couldn’t find an associate anywhere so I walked to the very front of the store. I had to speak to three different associates before someone could unlock the package for me. I decided to purchase the set but was told I had to go back to the line because her register wasn’t open. I finally got to the register and provide my digital coupon. It wouldn’t scan. She typed in the number. She said it’s no good. I said it doesn’t expire until tomorrow. She said sorry. I asked if she had a coupon. She said no. The whole thirty minutes I was in the store was the most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had at a JC Penny. I will never shop there again.

Great sales going on right saved a lot of money

I found the dress I needed to perform at an upcoming wedding. Ive shopped at Pennys for years and theyve never disappointed me! I pray you guys remain open we need you!

I had to leave my stuff because nobody was there to attend!!!! 😠 I waited several minutes and nobody show up at the register!!!

Here is my favorite place to go, I get most of my church clothes here, used to get my work clothes here when I was working at the call center. And now I get my kids clothes here. I was getting my daughter pants from rainbow and places like that and they would never fit her right so I started getting her jeans from here and havent had a problem. A lot of places make their clothes differently, my daughter is tall for her age so Im able to have more options here to choose the size I need. Not to mention they always have sales clearances and discounts, So the price is pretty good and the clothes are quality so they will last for the duration it should. 💯Side noteIf youre shopping here, then you have to know what you want and do the work yourself,theres not many people here that will help you. Make sure you know which sizes to get because the dressing rooms are still closed.

This used to be a great place to shop. Not anymore. Employees are rude and there is not much to choose from. I hate it, I always bought my clothes from here. Today was the last time I will ever go to this mall.

This is your typical JC Penney. The store is well stocked, spacious and has a large selection of just about everything. The bathrooms are clean. The staff is spread out all over so you rarely see them, but there are a couple of registers open by the doors. Im glad they once again have sale items, it makes shopping better to feel like youre getting a good deal. Staff seems polite.

JCPENNEY is not JCPENNEY anymore. Quality and quantity is there anymore. They may as well close. Very this disappointing. You check back week after to see if they have restocked items to avail.

Had problems at checkout they would not redeem a coupon that they gave us nor did they give us the discount that we should have gotten on a sale item. Even after we got a clerk to go and check the sale price and come back to the cashier because she failed to give us the sale price

Do not try calling before you get to the store for questions, and put on good comfortable shoes because the fitting room and check out counter are wayyyyy on the other end of the store. Wonder why the are closing? Customer satisfaction is wayyyyy at the bottom of their list.

My experience with Jcpenney is like most of the other reviews, its the worst experience I have ever had. I order a wedding band, and never received any shipping information. I waited to call to follow up on the expected delivery date, and was advised mo shipping information is available, theres no communication available for the manufacturer, but told me to wait 3 days and call back. This is the type of concern for a customer who has trusted this company to deliver something extremely important. I have had no communication from this company since placing the order April 14. I will never so business with this company again. People please dont trust it

Clean store and hardly no people. The stores in the mall could use the publics support.

The service was ok but the sales people need HELP the mens shirts and department was a wreck. The customers have made a total mess and apparently there isnt enough staff to put it back together. So sad

Cashier didnt even look up at or greet me when I got to the register. Wasnt asked whether I had a JC Penney card either. Which she asked the customer who had been checked out before me. Another customer stood within a one foot distance behind me in line and was not directed to stand 6 feet away. I felt that I was being rushed through my checkout. Overall poor experience. Especially spending the amount of money that I did.

Employee at checkout by the entrance was complaining that she was going to have to work on New Years Eve. Store was in disarray and employees acted like theyd rather be anywhere else. Overall I had a negative experience.

Great Selection of clothing..

I love JC Penneys! Their clearance is amazing! I always find something I need or want at the lowest price possible. Brand new dress slacks for work that are regular $45, marked down to $7.35. The staff is wonderful and everything is clearly marked!

Could not find any associates to help with anything. Saw 2 ladies talking they said they were just housekeeping. Noone was at any of the registers we finally left our merchandise at the register and went to another store.

Great place to shop and have good deals

This location is well stocked and well organized. I was not impressed with the staff there, the employees were more concerned with their own personal conversation than they were with the employee. They were not rude or negative but more preoccupied with their own situation than customer satisfaction.

Thanks to the associate in the hair salon that helped me in an area not of her own. Its freshing when you need help and there seems to be no one around, but then you do get helped. It feels so good to know people still appreciate their job!

Be patient as we are still dealing with this pandemic. Line moved pretty fast even tho they were short staffed

Unfriendly check-out

They have such a grand selection at this store of makeup, clothing, bedding, and so much more. The deals are good and the clothes are even better. Especially the purse deals are great and the purses and wallets are such high quality.

The style of clothes are trendy & there is a lot of variety, just did not find many in M Y size. Will go, browse & hopefully purchase some items next week.

Found some cute boots on sale during Black Friday. The lines were a little long; that was to be expected, but they moved quickly.

Picked up bras bought online. No the same as in the store. The brand name not on the bra any where. Every bra i every bought always got the name on the inside back where the hook is. They didnt fit right. Like they are suppose too. Will not buy my bras on line again

I love to shop at JCPENNEYs! They tend to have good sale, a wide variety of items to choose from, and I also like the layout. Store isnt cramped with items it has available or when browsing for items.

The shirts I needed were on sale for 50% but check out was less than speedy...

J.C. Penny has a beautiful store in Eastdale Mall! It is very sad the shopping environment has changed due to online purchases. I really enjoy shopping at this store!

Ordered socks & tshirts online at a good price - went in to pick them up. Staff was friendlier than usual- they found my order quickly. The mall parking lot usually has some sketchy looking people walking around, but it is at Eastchase Mall...

They had some great deals going on. Jcp has something for the entire family. I found exactly what i needed and i will be back again. The only problem that i had were some items had signs above them but when you get to the register it was totally different but this happens in most stores. Overalll my experience was great.

WARNING....DO NOT PURCHASE FINE JEWELRY FROM JC PENNEY!!! THEY DO NOT HONOR THE QUALITY OF THEIR JEWELRY. I PURCHASED A WEDDING SET FOR OVER 2500.00 AND THE SET WAS WORN ONLY 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE FINISH ON THE BAND BEGIN TO FADE AND LOOK DULL. I RETURNED TO THE STORE FOR THEM ONLY TO TELL ME THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO BECAUSE I DID NOT PURCHASE A CARE PLAN. WHY WOULD I NEED A CARE PLAN I ASK....I WAS TOLD TO BRING IT IN ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR TO HAVE IT CLEANED AND MAKE SURE THE STONES WERE STILL SECURED. NEVER WAS I TOLD THAT THE FINISH ON THE RING MAY TURN AND LOOK WORN. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO, THAT IT WAS UP TO THE STORE MANAGER TO ISSUE A PARTIAL OR FULL REFUND. Surprisingly, a quick and easy stop for last minute Christmas shopping this year on Christmas Eve. I expected hell on earth, so they deserve some praise.

Staff was very unfriendly. They initially stared at me and wven when I asked which register is open, blank stares. Once one decided to check me out, she spoke to another employee instead of me. Not even a have a nice day, thank you for spending a ton of money today so I can keep my job, nothing. Will not go back to that location.

I love JCPenney but alot of the sales that are online did not match in-store. Sephora is hit or miss when it comes to staff. Always a long line at checkout in the front they could use another cashier or two especially during busy seasons.

JCPenney has a wide selection of clothes and affordable theyre great quality clothes and shoes there and an indoor mall isnt that a good thing

I have always loved pennys. But, the store was a little messy the last trip. Especially the shoe dept. Not sure why. They have also misplaced my ring that was to be repaired. Keep u updated.
