My technician was Josh during the initial consultation. A young-looking guy who was very knowledgeable, well-spoken, and attentive. I was very impressed. When it came time to perform the work, It was both Josh and Steve who came along and both were very professional. I got along with both of them great. They performed excellent work, got my house up-to-code, and the receptionist even conducted a follow-up after my home passed the citys electrical inspection. She took it a step further and arranged for Alabama Power to arrive the next day to have my power restored. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Trustworthy installed an outlet, and hooked up our new hot tub. We also had a dawn to dusk light installed on our shed to illuminate the yard better. Charles was very friendly and professional and he gave us a competitive price. We will definitely be using them again and highly recommend them.

We have had two major home electric upgrades done in the last 5 months and the crew at Trustworthy Electric have been extremely professional and caring for our home. First I want to be clear that I did not hire them, but I just had to let people know how impressed I was with them because I had the opportunity to interact with everyone who currently works at the company.They hired me to do their photos since the company has grown since they last had them done. From the time they first contacted me through our final interaction, they were nothing but friendly and pleasant to work with.The reason I wanted to leave a review is because I was highly impressed by everything I saw about their business and employees. I took photos at their offices, which were so tidy. All their vehicles looked well-maintained, and the staff members seemed like they actually enjoy working with each other.They were all fun, enthusiastic, and had a great attitude even though we started photos at 6:30 in the morning. You would never know it from the pictures. When they first contacted me, I had no idea I was in for such a fun session! I was not expecting that from a group of electricians.Honestly, I was also skeptical of their name. But they take it very seriously that they are trustworthy. It isn’t just a name. I could see that it is built into everything they do in the business.

They charged me $3675 to replace my panel box which they said was causing my power to flicker.They came out on Friday at 8 am and didn’t leave until around 3:30 pm. At about 8:30 pm I was without power in over half my house. They have no emergency number to call for this instance. I had to wait until Monday.Joshua came out again and attempted to repair it. It lasted 2 days. Here we are again today with another technician who seems to know what he’s doing. Hopefully it’s corrected. Also, Joshua quoted me for a switch relocation but after installing the panel box he said it couldn’t be done. The other tech relocated it in about 30 minutes.They use the term TRUSTWORTHY too loosely!!

Came next day. Very nice, very neat! Excellent job done!

Charged me $65 fee but never sent me a diagnostic report. Said my bathroom fans were not working and I needed to replace then but apparently when I had other electrician come out, he said it was working. Wanted to charge me for a service that was already working fine.

I called them to install a electrical outlet from the electrical box 3 ft awayl the cam still. to a floodlight cam it took him 3 hours the cameras still did not work I was charged $426 when I was supposed to be in charged$426-65 service diagnostic fee minus the $100 doorbell ring he could not install .I got another floodlight cam and had to hire another electrician .it blowed cause trustworthy wired it from my garage door opener and it drained powerWires on outside had no box very hazardous

We called on Friday because a light switch was bad. They came out today (Monday) to check it. I was very impressed with the responsiveness. I was told there was a $65 fee to come out and it would be waived if we decided to have the repairs made. I thought that was very fair. The technician did a great job of quickly identifying the issue but what shocked me was the price. It was over $300 to replace the light switch only. To be honest, being put on the spot to decide to replace it, I made a poor decision. I shouldve did more research on the cost to replace it because I paid more than 3 times the average cost. I also bought the 3 year membership plan that was offered because I thought it would be beneficial so that we wouldnt have to pay a fee to come out in the future if we ever had any other issues. After seeing how overly priced that service was, it makes me completely regret spending over $400 for a light switch and membership (that I may never use because the cost is so high).-----UPDATE (I couldnt find how to reply):Hi Randy - Thanks for responding to the review. I would completely understand if I had a light fixture replaced or ceiling fan replaced; however, the only thing that was replaced was a light switch on the wall. Thats why I felt it was overpriced after looking at the average prices online. We had already taken the face plate off because that is the only way the light would stay on and he asked if we wanted to get a new one but I gave him the current one because it is fairly new. I would be happy to talk to you via phone if you are available. Thanks.-----UPDATE #2:I called back again this morning and spoke with the owner. He was unaware of the comment he posted stating that a light switch itself could be cheaper was in fact not accurate. He said that the person/company posting on his behalf was wrong for stating that the price for a light switch is cheaper. I just want anyone to be aware that if you want to have a light switch only replace to do your research because you can most likely find a more affordable price.

The folks at Trustworthy are the only electricians we have used for many years. All of their people are very knowledgeable and a pleasure to speak with and have in our home. I routinely recommend them without any hesitancy! They just completed installing an electrical box on our home and it was done with excellence and minimal disruption to us. They are truly the best!

They gave me a price of $3800 to direct bury 110 feet of electrical line to an outbuilding.This was 3 times more than another company and almost twice as much as a third. When I said no they charged me a diagnostic fee of $65. Rip off all the way around, nothing trustworthy about them in my opinion.

My dryer went out after the last hurricane. We were unsure what the problem was as the washer was still working. It was the breaker to the dryer that needed replacing (did not know they had their own breaker). An evaluation was done for other work that needs to be done and an estimate given for that future work as well.

Recently purchased an older home, and called them to replace electrical plugs from two prong to three prong. When the technicians came out they also did an inspection of the home electricity. Unfortunately for me they found that there was corrosion in the main panel, and that it was a safety hazard. They gave me several repair options, and made sure to show and explain all the facts to me so I knew what I was paying for and why! Having such friendly, honest, and hard working electricians made spending the money not such a heartbreak lol! They also tried very hard to get me the best possible outcome for finances, which was greatly appreciated!
