We visited the store today and we couldnt receive any help to find the part we needed. Terrible customer!!!!

I do repairs to homes new and old and when I need millwork this is the Only place I go. I’ve picked up 20 foot LVL beams, custom cut pieces for trim and learned from the courteous and knowledgeable staff.If you can’t find it at the box stores it’s here for sure

For friendly folks with a lifetime of experience, Marshall Lumber is your place. Any wood, any cut,, any anything.. .got it.

They had the special trim mouldings I needed when I was remodeling my house. I wanted to keep character features of the house but updated it.

There are not many lumber yards in Montgomery for people who do woodworking as a hobby. Marshall does earn 2 stars for having wood other than plywood for sale for the public. The there selection is decent but the quality is low. Walnut, for example, is very very rough sawn. I would gladly have payed $10 to get the piece square but I wasn’t offered. The gentlemen working the yard knew where wood was but were not approachable or willing to share knowledge. I would not recommend this place to my friends. And they charge some archaic credit card fee.

Niche lumber yard. In search of that maple board, or 1 1/5 inch thick lumber, this is where I look. When you want something different from the Lowes and Home Depot this is where I look in Alabama.

I needed some help finding a special type screw and bolts to attach a wash basin to the wall and the man at the counter was more than nice to help

My son has worked there for 20 years and my husband did for 36 years before he died.
