I have been trying to schedule a service appointment since early December, took months to schedule an appointment. I had one appointment for 8-12, at 10:30 they called to cancel that they did not have the parts even though the appointment was made months in advance and they called me several times to confirm. I rescheduled and again they called to cancel a second day I arranged to be home. I will be looking into a new company how can i possibly trust them to protect my home when they can not even show up to appointments!
My ADT security system has not worked since July 2020. Today I had a technician scheduled for a window of time between 12:00-5:00 and took the day off from work. I called at 5:30 as he hadn’t showed up. The agent outreached technician and he’s 1.5 hours away and won’t be coming. They rescheduled and advised I call at the start of my next 12:00-5:00 window to see if they’ll be coming or not.WORSE SYSTEM SUPPORT!! This will be the THIRD technician since November 2020 all the while I’m paying my monthly service charge.
Both my wife and I called multiple times, spoke with multiple people and was told due to COVID a manager would have to call to set up a visit if possible in our area. Never received a return call. Finally decided to call the local ADT authorized installer to see if I could finally get some help. Didn’t happen. The local phone number sent me to an ADT Corporate sales team that now wanted to discuss packages and run a credit check just for me to make an appointment to have someone come out to discuss system options. This was a first for me having had multiple systems by ADT, Brinks, and various local companies. They would come out, I would tell them my needs as I have a lot of them and did not want a simple package, they would give me a price and we would go from there. Funny thing, one of the many calls before this one, I was told by one of the individuals that my area isn’t even under ADT Corporate and that I would have to have a monitored system for 90 days with the local company before they would cover anything. Yet they want to check my credit. No thank you. I have had multiple homes with multiple systems. Really wanted complete home monitoring. Now I am going to go with another company. The customer service that I have received since trying to schedule ADT this time has been atrocious, infuriating and they win the prize and get my first ever review!!!!
ADT engages in robocalling, a violation of US federal law. ADT is in violation of the US federal Do Not Call List. THREE TIIMES, from 3 spoofed numbers, in less than 5 minutes time. Same recorded robo voice, same intro.
Our service tech was very friendly and on time, he went over all the features and options and helped us pick a package that fit our needs that we didnt even think of before he came out. Jerry worked hard all evening to get our system installed and connected and communicated with us throughout the entire process so we know exactly what he was doing and what to expect. What a great experience...ADT is a reputable name, but its because of people like Jerry that you are able to make a name for yourselves.
I love the service so far had an excellent install experience tech went above and beyond to explain all available options and the benefits. I have not had any issues so far. I would differently recommend this company A+++
