Would not have given them any stars, but can’t post without one. Don’t do business with this dealer, they don’t honor their deals! A salesman ran our credit, approved us for the loan, and just before leaving to go there and pick the vehicle up, the salesman called and told us the vehicle was just sold to someone else. Not a way to drum up business, and needless to say we would not purchase anything from them in the future. Beware!!
Amazing experience here. Salesmen werent pushy at all, lot was the cleanest lot we saw all day, cars were free of snow and at the time only two employees were working due to people calling out. Both employees were attentive, responsive, caring, understanding. Trade-In value for our car was better than any other quote we were given, left same day with a great car, Ford definitely got a new long-time customer. Definitely met, if not exceeded, expectations.
The people that you talk to in the service department are great. Unfortunately none of the mechanics are capable of finding and diagnosing problems. My truck has been in 10 times in the last three months with warranty front end issues and this morning it is going back there after being there earlier this week. They seem to just randomly be replacing things in hopes that it is fixed. They obviously never test drive the vehicle after “fixing” it. If they did, my truck would not be on the road. It’s a constant battle to keep it tracking straight on the road. I absolutely do not recommend going to formula Ford unless you absolutely have to, but unfortunately there are no other convenient dealerships. And I’m already out days of work and warranty deductibles for a bunch of stuff that hasn’t fixed my truck.
I just called inquiring about a vehicle I wanted to purchase and the salesan was very rude. I asked if they have any or could get any Ford focus RS and he was very rude when telling me that he cant get any. I did not know that a dealership could not trade used cars with other dealerships. Needless to say I will never shop hear nor call hear again and with really the way I was treated with family and friends
I was at formula ford in montpelier the other day and was at the parts department. While waiting for the young man to look up to see if he could get my part for my old ford. I wandered out to the show room. I was appalled to see the general manager swearing at and berating an employee . I could not believe how this man was acting!!. I am in business and I can assure you that there are laws against such conduct. I will not do business with formula ford any longer . I thought the man that the general manager was swearing at acted very professionally and kept his calm. I do not know the general managers name which is a good thing because if I did I would certainly report him to the state labor board. I hope that the owners of formula ford will take the appropriate disciplinary measures toward the general manager. No human being should be subjected to that kind of hostile work environment. The sales men did not seem to be phased by what was taking place which leads me to believe that this behaviour by the general manager is common place. Very upset and extremely disappointed by what I saw. I thought formula ford was better than this.
Stopped in due to a faulty trailer harness, continually connecting and disconnecting a ghost trailer, for a quick fix to the audible alarm. Service counter went above and beyond to assist in a quick fix to temporarily remidy the situation. Service counter assistance was very friendly and helpful.
I have become friends with the service employees. They always do a great job and keep my truck in good running order. Always let me know if something needs attention. Because of them I don’t have to worry about my truck. They are the best
I absolutely loved the service I received! I went in for a electrical issue with my car, and ended up leaving with a new one! (It was time) I did not feel forced, the staff was knowledgeable and I am truly happy with the outcome! I would recommend these folks for your automotive needs!
We’ve been having our F-350 serviced here since we bought it in Nashville a year ago. We’re extremely happy with the service of both the Service Department and Body Shop. Diligent, quality work and friendly service are some of the highlights which come to mind.Most recently, we needed some scratches buffed out of our hood after hitting a turkey. They took care of us and didn’t even charge for this one. We’re so happy we found Formula Ford!-Duane
Brought my truck in for a referral repair from another garage for a rear differential rebuild (spent $160 for diagnosis at referring garage) and was quoted $775 for the repair. The actual bill was much higher. When asked why I was charged so much more I was told it was for a diagnosis. The very same diagnosis Id already paid for and magically arrived at the exact same solution. If I brought my car in to get new tires would I be charged a diagnosis fee to see if I really needed tires? Thats fine, $100 cost this dealership a customer for life.
Cant say enough good about them! Bought my truck in July of 2018. They did an oil change and fixed a recall on my truck just a couple weeks ago. The process was fast and I was back on the road in no time at all. Customer service was great. Very happy with my choice to buy here!!

I am happy with Formula Ford and my 2016 Ford Focus which I still have another year on. I have talked to Formula Ford and they have advised me to get an inspection and take a look at what I may want next around July 2019. Right now I am very interested in the Geo Sport SUV.

Always easy to work with and friendly. Though the car seems to constantly have an issue with something or another. Biggest thing that could be done differently is giving a free 16 mustang gt350 to people who return for repairs on vehicles more than 5 times a year, that would be outstandingWheres my free focus rs dammit. Im entitled and deserve one :)
The car was in the shop for 2 days for installation of a backup camera and buffing. I live approx 90 minutes away and the best was when Formula Ford said they would delivered the car to me ! Awesome service!!Much larger problem this time. The car would become dead when it wasnt plugged in for recharging. With perseverance, Formula Ford was able to identify the problem, order a new part, and have the car up and running as it should. The service department followed up a couple of days later to make sure all was still working correctly as it should. The Service Department at Formula Ford has been outstanding in their service!
The collision center messed up my wifes CRV a few times and it took a few weeks but setting that aside, the Geico rep. and Ford man at the Collision Center front desk were super helpful, polite and very apologetic. This made up for the snafu with the Honda!
I had a new key made for my car here at a cost of $175; when I got it home it did not work in the door, though it worked in the ignition, and I dont have a fob that unlocks the car, so the key appeared to be functionally useless. I fiddled with it for 15 minutes or so, and finally brought it back.Turns out there are some imperfections - barbs and nubs from the key-cutting process that take some time to wear out before the key will work properly in the lock, but I was not told that at the time of purchase. I just expected that you pay $175 for a new key for your car, it should work right away in the ignition and the door- who knew that was too much to ask? So the moral of the story: test your keys before you leave, and anything else: they are not necessarily going to do that job.
I was not very happy when I left on March 2. I had gone in for an oil change and to have the cars heater. When I use the remote car starter to turn in the heater during the winter the heater never came on. Every time we took the car this was brought up. Formula never took care of the problem. I should have bought a regular car starter. It makes no sense to have to go outside and start the car so the defroster are working. When I got ready to leave I asked the girl at the desk the starter was fixed. Her response was what ever the temperature was set at the night before would be the setting. I told her I knew that. She told to go back and read the manual. THat is not a proper response for anyone to tell a client. When my son called me to make sure everything was all set I relayed this to him. He got in his car and drove 40 minutes to come look at the car for me. He called formula and I had to go back a couple of days later. The tech the second time told me the car was never activated thats why it didnt work. It should not have taken numerous times to find this out. We complained about this the first winter we had the car. Needless to say I am not very happy.
The only dealership (Walker Motors named before) weve bought automobiles from in the last thirty or more years, mostly because of salesmen Merle Dwyer and Toad Spaulding and the excellent service department.
I am always pleased with the level of service at Formula Ford. This time was no exception. They were also able to accommodate my schedule when my wife called to change the appointment time.
We had a great experience with the folks at Formula Ford. They were low-pressure, knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. It helped that many of them personally owned the car we bought (a plug-in hybrid) and so could tell us what to expect from experience vs. just corporate training. If youre interested in a Ford (and esp. the hybrid), Id recommend these folks, for sure.
The sales folks at Formula Ford are really great. I went in not sure of what I wanted and they showed me some different options, including a car I’d never heard of before; the Ford C-Max. I’ve always driven a sedan and wanted something a little bigger. The GM suggested a C-Max and I fell in love with it. After shopping at other dealerships to see what else was out there I came back to Formula Ford and leased a C-Max. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that would have made it even better is better explanation of the services they can provide after I’ve leased the car i.e. where the repair shop is, where the body shop is, where to go when I need certain things like an oil change, etc. However I will say they are very welcoming and open to phone calls for questions or concerns.I highly recommend Formula Ford!
Service after the sale is very important to us when we buy a vehicle. Formula Ford has a fantastic staff. From sale to service and everywhere in between, Formula Ford is second to none.

I have previously purchased both a new and a used car from Formula Ford. Having had good experiences in the past I was not expecting that the car would not be delivered for the price promised, nor until 2 days after the day promised. After the sale I made multiple attempts to to try to find out why this time things went so far off track but after 2 weeks of dealer silence, gave up. Thanks to Fords rebates it was still a good deal, but there was nothing about Formulas sales or service department this time around that says anything more then Were doing the least we can do.
Horrible service, clearly safety isnt a priority to FMC. Bring my car in to be fixed just to find out they only fixed what they wanted to. Replaced my door latches but the real issue is my transmission which skips like crazy. I feel so unsafe in this car and for my line of work I need to have a safe, reliable vehicle. Not happy with Formula Ford to say the least and honestly wish I never bought this car with all the problems its had.

Brought in my 2013 Ford Flex with a non working windshield washer pump. Asked the friendly service advisor to check the fuses. After all, maybe its not the pump itself. They took it into the service bay and after about half an hour told me that its not the fuse, they dont have a new windshield washer pump in stock, and oh, by the way, heres a bill for $29.95. I was not told in advance that there would be a charge to determine what I already knew. That is sneaky in my book. I wouldnt mind if fees were stated honestly upfront, but not informing the customer and then presenting them with a bill is shady.

I requested a time for service on my car and the service department was able to accommodate me. They also gave me a ride to my dentist appointment while my car was being serviced. When my appointment was done, so was my car. I am 100% satisfied. In my opinion, you will get the same amount of respect and courtesy from someone, that you in turn give.Its now 4 months later and my car broke down on the highway while on my way to Burlington ( This is a Ford Motor Company issue NOT FORMULA FORD) and the service department at Formula Ford was able to get me in a rental and take care of my car in a matter of 15 minutes. He was very helpful in dealing with the out of state dealer I got the car from. All the staff in the service department were friendly and professional. Definitely will return in the future.
The service team @ Formula Ford has been servicing my F150 for the past 5 years and 90,000+ miles. Whether its routine maintenance or warranty repairs, Formula has treated me very well. Edit: Just had to bring my truck in for a bad universal joint. I really needed my truck back ASAP, and Terry squeezed me in to get me back on the road quickly.

My insurance company sent me here for a claim, my vehicle was left to rot because the people responsible for my claim declared that insurance doesnt cover water damage.(even though my insurance company has more than reassured me it is in fact covered) Meanwhile electrical systems in my vehicle began to fail from the water in the floorboards and subfreezing temperatures of the season. I would have been better off doing nothing than relying on the people at formula ford for prompt customer service.

Terrible service experience. The woman who runs the service desk doesn’t call customers to let them know there is a delay in the car being done. They over charge and are not friendly. When I emailed Terry Winters, service manager, he never returned my email or call.

The service department at Formula Ford in Montpelier, Vermont has always gone out of their way to ensure I was satisfied with their service. I added an extended warranty when I purchased my used vehicle from them and they have addressed every issue Ive had and thankfully, all issues have been covered under warranty.
I always wanted to have a Ford truck. So far I am very impressed with the 2018 Ford Supercrew F150 XLT I just bought from T.J. Valle and Formula Ford. I got the price I wanted and the trade figure I wanted. It was nice not to have to play games and go back and forth ten times. I appreciated this experience and highly recommend TJ and Formula Ford to anyone who is looking for a new vehicle.
