Fun little place with lots of maple stuff. The popcorns were not very maply though, heads-up. There are four kinds of maple syrups, and of you ask they let you try them all before buying. When the tourist buses roll in things get a little crazy, but stepping out for like 15 minutes resolves the issue.Ventilation could be better, during the covid era in particular.

Amazing food and history!! Wish I could go back!Im from Michigan, and I felt so welcome on this property! Very tourist friendly. I learned so much about maple in their funny and cute family video. Since it is a family owned company, they have great historical pictures too.The maple is sooo good! I had no idea about the 4 different types, and theyre all so sweet and delicious. They ship the stuff internationally in house, so you know it has to be good! I plan on buying the amber, #3, for the rest of my days! The store has everything you could want!! Maple cotton candy, maple kettle corn, maple creemees (or soft serves), maple cannolis, maple cookbooks, soap, candles, ANYTHING, they have it and have it in droves. Their maple ice cream, creemee, was just like eating vanilla. So little maple flavor you could hardly tell you were in Vermont ! Go to Braggs if you want maple creemee.Their maple syrup is a combination of the syrups from sugar makers all over the area and these sugar makers sell it all to Morse, good and bad. Morse buys it all, combines it and sells it. Ive tasted syrup from all over the state. These guys, Morse, are into retail not quality. If you want the regional best, state and national class Vermont maple syrup look up Tafts Milk and Maple. Ive been there and seen the integrity of their process.

Having never been to a maple farm I had no idea what to expect but if this is considered normal then I totally get why everyone loves them. The staff was friendly, warm, and knowledgeable. The buildings were inviting and easy to get around and their syrup, all 4 grades, was wonderful as was their side products. Folks from out of town should be warned this is a working farm too and thus comes with all things that entails which bothered us not at all (were from Nevada so no biggie). Overall a good time and we look forward to coming back.

We went on our own and ending up with a group from Virginia. The presentation was informative, just the right length, and very funny. The store was amazing! They let you try a lot of different samples of what they make other than syrup. Everything we tried was great, right down to the maple mustard and everything in between. I would recommend going and getting the tour. Nice little place of the beaten path!

You can try all the grades (Light to Dark) of Maple Syrup produced along with a variety of Maple products sold in the gift shop. It takes about 40 gallons of Maple Sap boiled down to make 1 gallon of 100% Vermont Maple Syrup. Owner Burr Morse who is part of an eight generation Vermont farm family that owns and operates the Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks explains the process in depth during a short film. The Morse ancestors who helped settle Central Vermont were taught how to tap maple trees by Native Americans. Hot rocks were used to evaporate the sweet sap until only sugar or “sinzibukwud” remained. Pioneers could boil a year’s supply of sugar thus making Americans self-sufficient in sugar production. Ben Franklin promoted massive sugar production in the Northeast to make the country less dependent on “foreign” sugar.

So cute. I have never been to a maple farm before. The summer they do not produce any syrup. But they have a video that is very informative. The store they have has a bunch of maple syrup eats and other cute little crafts. And they have here in VT these things called creamies, (soft serve ice cream). I got the maple flavor one.. OMG!!!! Yeah. So if you have a few extra moments, I do recommend stopping and checking it out.

Morse farm is a special place for maple syrup products. Perhaps the best maple creemees in the state. The shop has pretty much everything you can make out of maple syrup, all produced right at the farm with their own maple trees. I also go here for their maple sugar which I use to cook with and is a key ingredient in my steak dry rub. Morse Farm is the Bomb!
