Great Deli food! I have tried a few and none have failed. I can almost say you can’t go wrong with any of them. The latest one was the Caprese and it’s my new favorite. Usually with these sandwiches they run short, the ciabatta is too hard or something. This one was incredibly good. As for the actual market, it’s got a great variety in such a small space. The space is not overcrowded and it’s pleasing to move around. The staff has always been nice too which is usually a heavyweight consideration for me. I have always felt welcomed and will continue to come here to try new things!

I stopped by today for some eggs. I was in the middle of baking a cake and discovered I was out (oops!) The market was out of eggs, but the fellow behind the counter kindly GAVE me 3 eggs from the back (what they use for their deli, I assume.) I was floored by his generosity and kindness. I will definitely be back! What a great asset for our neighborhood!

Great sandwich and very nice folks. Beer selection was pretty wide, and they also had lots of local meat options.

As the name suggests, there have a delightfully uncommon assortment of local and worldly products. The absolute best breakfast sandwiches near Montpelier. In addition the sandwich counter, deli, and fresh fish selection are top tier.

An upscale corner store featuring fresh seafood and meats, sandwiches to order, freshly brewed coffee, a well-above ordinary wine selection, and fresh fruit and vegetables. Grocery items are reliably high quality.

Nice corner grocery store with well selected items and good (pricey) selection of wines. My spouse swears that the fresh fruits in season are better than the 2 supermarkets we have in our tiny Village!! Try it!

I only stop here for sandwiches on the way to some other place, but they are so good! Boars Head meats and a local twist makes them worth checking out.

Delicious, fresh, hand crafted sandwiches! Probably the best sandwiches in Central Vermont. Plus, they are super nice and welcoming. The market has quality goods, but is not extensive. Go here for the sandwiches.

The folks are most friendly and the menu was quite impressive. very creative options, regular specials on rotation and light groceries. i very much enjoy their porch overlooking the river and downtown from a unique perspective. this is my lunch destination when traveling past Montpellier!

Closing at 8 PM is inconvenient. I always thought corner convenience stores were supposed to be... you know? Convenient? During the summer they close before the sun even sets. Seems a bit ridiculous to me. I want to give this place my business but I cant because they arent open late enough.
