This Walmart is conveniently located right off the main road. Good, easy parking and pretty clean store overall. Things didn’t seem to be stocked as well as other Walmarts I’ve been to but overall shopping here was a good experience.

Always need more help never a line to check out in terrible service.

Good family dining experience. Good strong drinks for the adults and good appetizers for the kiddos. We went on all you could eat fish night and were not disappointed! They just kept bringing out fillets. Go getcha some Jimmers!

Its a Walmart, but a great big one, the largest shopping center in the area. Friendly clerks, A large checkout area. Even when when its been busy weve been able to get out quick.

While I do most shopping at Walmart to save money, I do not purchase any produce from here because there produce is usually something that should be thrown out instead of put on display, let alone charge people to use the produce. When you find mold on some of the produce and you mention it to a manager and there is still mold on produce on your next trip in there is a bigger problem than the produce.

Nothing super about this center.Seen one seen em all.If you dont mind buying the cheapest of the worlds cheapest products over and over when they inevitably break then this is your place.Also, they have very limited selection.I can rarely find the thing Im actually looking for here.Its a huge waste of time.Order online. Skip the parking hassle.

The shopping experiance is good until you get to the checkout.Needs more employees to check costumers out and a lot of improvement on the self checkout. Frequently the machines doesnt accepts cash.

It was crowded, but the store was clean and orderly. Shelves were fully stocked and employees were polite and helpful. No complaints.

My husband went to cash his check to pay bills and such at their customer service counter. The cashier tried to pull his check too soon and ripped it in half and proceeded to tell him he was out of luck she couldnt do anything. When he asked for the manager she insisted there was nothing that could be done. My husband finaly had to gat the store manager to fix the situation as the cashier still had not gotten their manager as asked. While the store manager was correcting everything, the cashier would snicker at him and he was called names. The other employees were very helpful, but this lady should have at least taken responsibility.

Food is good and I like that the Coffee Pot is still represented. I used to go there with my grandparents when I was little so it takes me back to favorite times.

Took my car in to figure out why the tire (that I just bought from them less than a week ago) was leaking. Waited over 2 hours, just for them to tell me that it was a dealership issue, something to due with the valve and the sensor. The young lady who reported they could not fix the tire, (that had no issues with the valve or sensor prior to buying the new tire) was very rude and abrassive. Very disappointed. Took the car to the Chevy dealership where they were able to fix the problem quickly, professionally and kindly. The valve was damaged by the Walmart auto tech, during the process of changing to my new tire, but I had to pay someone else to fix the problem.

Pickup up service is flawless. Great prices, courteous staff and always in stock selections!

It is Walmart... service is sacrificed for cost savings. With that said one of the better Walmarts

Fairly standard Walmart here. Good location too. The parking lot could use a lot of improvement.They have pretty much everything you need. It does seem to be a bit more run down than most. Probably due for a facelift soon.

Everyone was helpful they asked me if I found everything I was looking for.

This is silly but this is the best Walmart I have ever visited. It is SO CLEAN and has the best signage of any Walmart Ive ever been to. The self checkouts seemed lovely, tidy and spacious compared to others Ive been to. We found everything we needed.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Store is always moving things around. Gets harder to find certain items. Food area stays pretty much how it is. I dislike that they got rid of almost all of the checkers. Its all yourself. Some of the older population has issues with self check. But good store overall

I give a 🌟 star! The parking lot is always cluttered/scattered with unattended carts everywhere. Inside Walmart, the floors were very dirty, especially in produce area. Trying to find assistance, is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Good Luck...lol Most important a lot of the staff are very unfriendly when Greeting a customer prior to checkout. Walmart bypassed the basic skills for customer service to there employees!!

This store is more geared towards the online shoppers. I ordered groceries for pickup. The young lady that brought them to the car was courteous and efficient. When I unloaded at home I saw she was thoughtful of how she loaded the groceries in my trunk such as putting eggs safely on top and easily visible. The only issues I had was with the app. Being new to online shopping like this, trying to choose the right item in the quantities I wanted was challenging. The app was slow to respond. I chose the diet soda picture and received regular of same brand. Read your list closely before finalizing. Looks like this will be the only way I shop this Walmart. It was great. Convenient. Saved money with no impulse purchases. No rude customers and no impatient and grumpy associates. Downside - I enjoy shopping and missed the experience of browsing.

Watch the so called clearance prices on seasonal items. Out of five items, only one rang up the clearance price. I caught three but they got the most expensive by me. It just not worth the trip back to Montrose to get the difference.

Best prices obviously.. just wish they had more food options for people on a low carb diet. Generally when I shop here I have to make a second stop at city market to get a handful of items Walmart doesnt carry.

I gave this Walmart 3 stars before they changed everything and now I would definitely give it 1 star!!I hear customers complain every time I am in this store and my biggest problem is the self check out crap😡 the prices have raised Im sure to compensate for the remodel but we are now checking out ourselves so we should be getting some kind of discount.I used to really like Walmart but now its at the same level as Target.The rich keep getting richer.

MOST people would rather shop in Delta rather than Montrose because employees are not helpful or nice to people either, unfortunately...

The Montrose Colorado supercenter I visited tonight was absolutely wonderful. Dispite it being night stocking time, all of the employees were very friendly and eager to help with anything needed! Was dreading heading in bc we were a mess from a vehicle breakdown but they were all amazing!!!

Employees could have been a tad more helpful....not surprised to see so many Scan & Go...if thats always the case. Otherwise, decent, clean, well stocked store.

Always a good shopping experience. Clean, organized as we all expect Walmart to be. Staff is friendly and helpful. Last visit, some of the aisles being moved, and the employees were helpful to show where some stock was temporarily placed during the move.

Been in line to check out for 17 minutes. 2 people in front of me. Guess what? Still waiting. The cashier hasnt even started my order.

Hard to find someone to help but overall liked my experience

Empty areas on shelves, too many items in the store making the aisles narrow, so many things in the store that it is difficult for people under 6 feet in height to reach things on upper shelves and difficult to find help if assistance is need to obtain items from upper shelves. Brain storm to go to self check out does not consider that it is an area with a high number of senior citizens who have difficulty with self checkout and bagging their purchases. Attitude of store and shoppers is not welcoming.

I am lowering my rating to one star. This store is in shambles. Constantly moving things around. The staff is not that friendly probably from the stress management. I dont even go in her anymore. The prices are going up and I get better deals at Safeway. Plus, Safeway is pleasant, the isles are wider and the store is organized. I have lower my grocery bill by going to Safeway. I am waiting for the fall of walmart. Spring 2021, without a doubt this is the worst place i have ever been in. The store is chaotic and disorganized. There place is not fully stocked. Two checkers with long lines and the rest self check out. Most of the employees act like slaves would and the atmosphere is dark. I dont go here anymore other then to take notes on the decent of Walmart. All good things......

Ok I never rant about stuff but the other night I went in there and asked an employee where I could find a lint roller and all he said was, I dont work that department and literally walked away. Didnt call for help or anything. I get it, I used to work there and its not the best job on earth but would it kill the managers to teach their employees to have a little more hospitality towards costumers. It shouldnt feel wrong to have to ask an employee anything there and it does. I know not all employees are bad but on any day I could walk around in there for hours and never be asked if I need help, not once.

Surprisingly sparse of goods. Bathrooms were unexpectedly clean and well stocked though. Self checkout seems to be only option, as they only had 2/18 staffed checkout lanes open. If I wanted to be an employee, Id give you an application. Get your s#*& together

Walmart is Walmart. The reason I shop there instead of other super stores is they politically dont discriminate against gun ownership. When a store or business becomes so self important that they publicize opinions about person issues, such as the right to protect yourself, I quit shopping there. Walmart is great! I also like their complete lack of discrimination when hiring!

Can’t rate a store with self checkout! If I have to do all the work and still pay the exact same price did when a clerk checks me out then my ratings will go down each time!

Reduced product selection, more walmart brands, poorly stocked shelve. Often empty spaces where products should be.

Adrienne was so happy to help me out in electronics. I was looking for some adapters and she was overjoyed to run to my assistance and help me find what I was looking for. When it wasnt available she was clapping for joy at finding that another product wasnt there for customers looking for what they could have just got at Amazon. I had to update my review from 2017 as it is now 2021 and times have changed.Regarding online shopping: Am I alone in my frustration with how many items continue to be added to the “Not Avaiable for Curbside” list with Walmart? That includes deliveries. I know I should just do the shopping, but there are so many hoops to jump through with shopping lately when you try to shop in-store. What I mean is... Locked cabinets making you need to locate an attendant for everything on your list over $5-$10! And then wait for them...patiently...FOR.E.VER... Today I placed an order, received the out of stock updated list, ended up going in the store to pick up the Not Available for Curbside items and decided to look for the items I was told were”Out of Stock”. 2 out of 3 were not out of stock. So first they take away the Checkers at the check out stands and now they dont have enough people in the back room and on the sales floor keeping track of the inventory to accurately and efficiently allow patrons to shop online. Does Walmart care? Do they see how this is customer no-service? Walmart is SO BIG it has the opportunity to be on the city edge of curbside delivery and inventory management yet theyve failed flat on their faces. So sad. Not for them. For you and me!

I have been using Walmart auto regularly for years. I travel cross country a lot and like that their roadside service travels with me. Unfortunately our local Walmart has not been able to maintain staffing in the automotive department recently. Its frustrating to know there are so many people without jobs and Walmart is unwilling or unable to keep or train qualified people in automotive. I have made 4 trips there to get a tire repaired and was turned away because they did not have enough techs. When I finally made an appointment they checked the wrong tires. Now Im trying to call for another appointment and they dont even pick up the phone. I guess I will be forced to go Big O which is not as prevalent throughout the South where I travel. Very disappointing.

Went to have tires mounted and balanced took 3 hours and they stripped a stud and lug nut and didnt even tell me just left it on the center console

This is the second time I have gotten use service bc of the cell phone department is not a part of Walmart. I try and get help no one is there then when they come its oh I cant help you the cell phone people can only do this. Then on top of that they are holding what I wish to purchase for someone else and told me to go to Verizon. Zero customer service
