This was my first visit to hypoxia. I loved the store. The guy who helped me was absolutely great and I came out of there with my first pair of Oboz shoes!!!

Great place, friendly salesmen and i found my Berkinstocks. Love these sandals.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They take the time to get to know you and offer a no-pressure environment. Paul is knowledgeable about the inventory and is excited about the products. Paul has also become a good friend.

I found 3 shirts I really liked, then noticed the employees never wear a mask, not cool. Oh well, found what I needed a block away.

Loved this store. The owner was devoted to us during the entire experience. We found some great clothes on sale and some not on sale. We even found they are a great Birkenstock dealer and even have Hoka shoes. Loved this store and the owner. I highly recommend coming for a visit.

Staff only wears masks if you ask them to. I have heard them encouraging customers to go maskless while in their store. Dont be such wimps, wear your masks to protect your customers!!!

Walked in for a pair of sunglasses. We were excellently helped by the owner(?) who had extensive experience on sunglasses and the differences between brands. He gave us few to try on and quickly iterated to something that gave both a great view and a great fit. After going to the outdoor store across the road, where the staff was not knowledgeable on sunglasses, we bought a better and less expensive pair and happily left for more hiking in the coming days. We also got excellent recommendations on things to do around, and on hiking pants brands that have length 36. Recommended.

I purchased a pair of Salomon Speedcross 4 shoes at this store. They retail for $130.00. I was in a rush and did not pay much attention during the check-out process, when I got to my car I realized I didn’t get a receipt. I promptly checked my bank statement and noticed I was charged $160.00. When I went back to the store and told them they must have made a mistake, I was told the shoe price was 141.00 ($11.00 dollars above retail) which still didn’t add up to what I was charged (even with tax). They would not allow me to return the item and instead offered me a “free” pair of socks. I’m extremely disappointed and saddened by this shopping experience because I’m a proud believer in shopping local and supporting small businesses. Bottom line, I was way overcharged and felt taken. BUYER BEWARE! Check your receipts carefully before authorizing a charge at this store.

I was told my several people that this place was hiring and to bring in a resume. When I did this morning, some lady employee had the audacity to THROW my resume in my face! After being treated with that much disrespect not only would I never work there, I never want to shop there! After telling others about my experience their feelings are the same. So if your reading this review please take my advice and spend your hard earned money literally anywhere else and you will have a better experience and walk away with something thats actually worth what you paid for.

Be careful shopping here. They like to discriminate if you are colored. Especially the older lady that has blonde hair (most likely the owner). I think it’s sad.... Anyways, Sorry I can afford a Patagonia jacket honey. But, don’t treat me like I’m less. :) enjoy my review and truth about these people. Unless you like racism, then I encourage you to go. And I definitely did go into this store in the corner of Mainstreet and Townsend Ave.

Will never shop there again! Owner does not stand behind her product. I bought a pair of expensive Lucy Capri pants and after three wears they had 2 snags in them. Owner was not willing to contact the manufacturer to see if they would do anything about it because I did not have the original tags. I will not take friends and family who are visiting from out of town into the store anymore !! Do not recommend !!
