This place is awesome. The techs are super cool and entirely transparent. I felt comfortable and knew immediately that I could trust them. Not only that, but they maintain a super clean and welcoming work space which is great because my husband and I had our toddler with us (s.o to emily for being super rad and making our kid giggle). Literally who even wants to go to a place with random parts on the floor and grease everywhere?! Definitely the only shop I’m ever taking my car.

I took my car in for them to diagnose the oil leak on my 2002 mustang, they took it in a said that it was an oil pressure sensor and when I was called they said they also found a few things like a loose hose and a few loose bolts and that they tightened those down. They quoted the oil pressure sensor repair at 150$ before taxes and me being an aspiring mechanic I wanted to do the repair myself. Once I told the woman on the phone I planned to do the repair myself she gave me the worst attitude possible and when I picked up the car the attitude continued and she also told me that because I did not have them repair my car that they went back in and backed out the bolts that were tightened up. NEVER COME HERE!

Had an inspection on one of our cars and an oil change on the other. I was able to have the inspection completed, then went home got the other car and brought it right back for the oil change. STR was quick, accommodating and did a great job.

Had an alignment done elsewhere and was a shabby job so came to STR and they did an awesome job on the alignment that day because the car was going to Rochester NY the next day for college, so very pleased with the work and that they squeezed me in. Will use again in the future

My wife and I were 50 miles from home and had a mechanical issue. Fortunately, we saw the STR Automotive sign and pulled in.We initially noticed the customer care area was extraordinarily clean and well maintained, as were the garage areas. However, most impressive was the friendliness and professionalism exhibited by each of the staff.The facility was quite busy this day and their response to identifying the problem and required repairs was exceptional.Thanks to everyone involved for the repair and courtesies extended. I went to an auto inspection station and waited for almost an hour...only to be told that their machine wasnt reading for them to inspect my car...the attendant suggested STR Automotive that was close by and I took my car there..I think you usually have to have an appointment for inspection, But the gentleman at the counter, after I explained my situation from the other inspection station, told me I would have a short wait but they would get my car in As soon as possible..I waited for about 30 minutes and they got it done..I am thankful they worked me in...I will use them from now on for my automotive needs...Good, friendly, accommodating people...😊

It’s incredibly hard to find any good repair shops around here, but these guys are it. They are incredibly knowledgeable and have very reasonable rates. My daughters car was leaking oil and they got it diagnosed, parts ordered and repaired all before lunch the same day! Ryan and Spencer are super friendly and patient. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend and only wish they worked on motorcycles too. I won’t bring my vehicles anywhere else. We appreciate you guys!!

Excellent Customer service, had thing I needed, affordable pricing. Wait time is super fast. I got to enjoy complimentary coffee and and pop corn. Butter and flavor of popcorn tremendous. Sweet aroma of black coffee seeped out my cup as I was writing down my plan for the day.

This shop is phenomenal, they replaced my VW Jetta GLI alternator and battery in A very timely manner. At the dealership and alternator would’ve cost $1000 by itself not including labor or taxes. But at STR and I think her and battery only cost me $850 including labor and taxes. I also recommended my brother to go to their shop. They did a great job on his car a BMW 328I which need it’s window repaired. I would highly recommend this app to anyone in the Mooresville area!!

My only complaint was they should of put the 2 new tires on the front, but they put them on the back

The single most important thing you look for from an auto service is... trust. I dont mind paying for service that is needed, but I want to pay a fair price, and I dont want to be mislead into paying for optional services that I dont need. After having a negative experience with another auto service company in Mooresville, going to STR was such a relief. Just a good organization doing good work for a fair price. Great communication, easy to schedule appointments, and the work is completed on time. I was having a timing belt replaced, and not only got a detailed estimate, but was able to talk about the work, ask about items on the estimate, and get honest and reasonable responses. Never felt like I was getting pressured to do anything more or less than what I asked for. Came back for a second appointment to do optional work... and everything was as smooth and seamless as the first appointment. I feel like I can ask for opinions and get honest answers... with a smile. What else do you need?Just going to add... they are masked up and following Covid19 guidelines.

This was my first time coming to STR Automotive and I have to say it was a godsend. Very professional and timely. Brought my car in for an oil change and I brought my own oil and filter, job was done less than 30 minutes later and I was out the door. Charged me just for labor and it was very fairly priced. Ryan was friendly and helpful and their lobby was very nice. Will be coming back in the future.

I highly recommend STR Automotive for any and all automotive needs. I almost never make an appointment but they always get me right in. They recently did an inspection and also checked fluid levels, tires, etc. I cant imagine taking my car any other place. The waiting area is clean and offers drinks and fresh popcorn. They all wore face coverings and also offered them to all customers. All the guys are very nice and the best at what they do !

I had a good experience here. Took both of our cars. Had an alignment done on one and an oil change on the other. Both were priced fairly. The gentleman at the front was nice and knowledgeable. He also called about something that I asked him to do which would have been pointless and cost me more money. He explained it to me and we didnt do it. He saved me money which I am always happy about. I would say over all, honest and fair.

I came for an inspection and was prepared to wait an hour as I had at other places. The waiting room is really nice with drinks, popcorn and a tv. The person that helped me was professional and efficient. He came to get me after 15 minutes or so and that was it. Best experience at an automotive shop for sure.

Very professional, they gave me a time when it would be ready, and it was actually ready before. They didn’t try to sale me on other things, or take advantage because I am a female, and I don’t know much about cars. They told me what the ballpark price would be over the phone and they were not far off from it. My little boy was excited for the fact of the waiting room had a fridge with unlimited soda and and a popcorn machine. The cleanest automotive place hands down I have ever been and great customer service, these guys are doing it eight! I will refer them to friends and family.

I dont know who need to hear this but this needs to be your automotive service of choice. I went to another auto service in Mooresville and received a quote for $600 to replace one measly sensor. I went to STR and they only charged my $241. I called and spoke to Spencer (who is extremely professional, great communication skills and impressively efficient). He ordered my part, it was there the same day and it only took them 30 minutes to fix my car. The atmosphere of the place was also great. I took my 4 year old there and was preparing myself to spend hours waiting with him asking me 50 million questions, but to my surprise, they had toys and activities for children to do in the waiting room. Also had free popcorn and beverages. Great service and reasonable prices! I literally cant think of any suggestions to improve because they have exceeded my expectations in every aspect.

Great company to do business with. STR fixed the suspension issues I was having. Their services are affordable, the communication was on point, and they are fast! Best thing to me is they didn’t attempt to over sale or push repairs on me. Will be doing business with them in the future.

I do not like it when I’m quoted something and show up to pay and the bill was 100$ more. The man called me and said 70$ for the part and 100$ labor. I asked to add an oil change. I come to get my truck and the bill came out to 347$ when it should have only been maybe 225$ after taxes and all. I didn’t even have 347$ on me when I picked it up, I was 3$ short and he said not to worry about it.

I have officially found my new mechanic. I went in for an oil change and an inspection. They were very professional, courteous, efficient and knowledgeable.

Had a tire fail over Thanksgiving weekend. Dropped it off Sunday and Ryan had my car done by noon the next day. Extremely fast service and carries quality products at a great price.

I am extremely cautious when it comes to auto service. I think that there are a lot of places out there that are untrustworthy and overcharge. Therefore I read a ton of reviews before sending my husband here for our safety inspection and to patch a tire. Thankfully this was an awesome pick and they not only got him in the same day I called, but the price was awesome and they seem very honest and trustworthy! We will definitely come back here.
