Best coffee in Mooresville, maybe even in NC. They roast and brew their coffee right on-site based on whatever international beans are in season. They have a wonderful variety of drinks hot and cold. Ive tried almost all of them. Not one has let me down yet. Staff is always smiling and helpful. Atmosphere is calming and light.

Urban Grind Roasters has a wonderful environment. Rustic, with nice lighting, temperature, and music that isnt too loud. You can easily put your headphones in and be in your own flow and work! Havent been there during peak hours but its very spacious with plenty of tables.Highly recommend!Only thing Id say is that your voice carries very well in the building so its something to be mindful of when youre having your coffee date

Stopped by with the hubby this morning as an early valentines treat and we were super impressed! The coffee was delicious and we loved the unique, cozy atmosphere. The smell of the coffee roasting was awesome. Plus, the strawberry champagne pop tart was a cute touch for the holiday. We will be back the next time we are in town!

Took me a bit to find this place but it was worth it. the coffee is delicious and the pastries are delightful. i would recommend this place over any other coffee shop in the Lake Area. loved the atmosphere of this place too

I enjoy the Vibe, Coffee, and Friendly Folks atUrban Grind Roasters. I just took a business meeting, & it was my 1st choice of place for Java - I appreciate a comfortable andinviting place to do read, do business and UGR is always a great meeting place where we can use our indoor voices, however mine is still trying to get outside!! I didnt expect this however one of my appointment peeps purchased my coffee and choose a small??. Likely because of the time of day. A Great Cuppa Coffee is always made better when enjoyed together - but in this case the rule of someone else buying worked just as well! Best Coffees are always - Always to be enjoyed at your neighborhood Coffeehouse!Where your store management, baristas, patrons, and the occasional ukelele, guitar player, and poets hangout and not just to get caffeinated, but to be at ease! Refill please!

I enjoy local destinations and am always looking for places that are better than a Starbucks; Urban Grind is that place. Im in town visiting and was looking for a place to get some work done and enjoy a good cup of coffee. Not only is the coffee here excellent but the atmosphere and internet are both exceptional. Whether your coming to hang out with friends or to get work done this is the spot for it.

Very good place to get coffee and pastries. The place is charming and comfortable at the same time. The coffee offerings are really good. The pastries cater to vegans as well. Seriously vegan donuts are worth a try here. The nitro cold brew is really good and worth coming here instead of that bug seattle brand. We went on a Sunday to relax and enjoy their coffee. Support your local business. This is a great place in downtown Mooresville.

Had a weird first impression here, but the second time and all the rest since have been great experiences! Love the gluten free and vegan cinnamon roll muffin. Their plain hot oat milk latte is my favorite drink, the espresso is so complex and flavorful it doesnt need any flavors added. Peppermint mocha latte and flat whites are great too. The syrups are not overly sweet like starbucks which I like. Love that they have vegan options. Service is always quick and workers are friendly. Inside is very clean, cozy and cute.

Darn good coffee and a super nice atmosphere.

This has been my favorite coffee shop since they opened. Their featured flavored lattes have interesting combinations and use quality syrups if youre into that, but I usually go straight for the caffe macchiato. If you dont know the difference, thats the tiny one with just a touch of milk foam, the opposite of the more popular latte macchiatto. To me it is the real test of a shops quality. Here it is served in the correct sized cup, and is the most consistently good coffee Ive had in the area. The regional varieties of coffee they roast in house make an interesting and tasty drip coffee at home. The decor is cool too.

Love Urban Grind. Mooresville has a great downtown area with independent businesses and I was hoping to find a coffee shop that wasnt part of a worldwide chain. They roast their own coffee beans with unique combinations of beans from Guatemala, Colombia, and Ethiopia. Its the coffee I use in my espresso machine at work. The bars, muffins, and scones etc..are wonderful. The owner and the staff are amazing. Worth checking it out.

Very delicious! The atmosphere is quiet and calming with lite music in the back ground. The barista was very knowledgeable as I did ask alot of questions. I had the Flat Vanilla Latte with Oat Milk and it was very velvety and amazing! I also had a cheese scone that was rather tasty.... definitely worth a try if u havent been here and definitely spacious enough for alot of ppl at once with plenty of seating

We stopped by on 5/23. The coffee tasted like water. Seriously no discernable flavor in the iced lattes, hot flat white and smoothies we purchased. The fact that they made the smoothies with only a couple pieces of frozen fruit was a foreshadowing of how terrible it was going to be. 40$ for coffee not worth drinking. Next time will find a public water fountain for a similar experience.

Good coffee, tasty pastries, and a friendly atmosphere make this a great place to spend a Saturday morning. I had the Americano (my standard order) with a pumpkin cinnamon roll and a red expresso latte. All were great and the cashier was friendly. One thing I am particularly excited about this place is that they roast and sell different coffees based on what is in season, keeping it fresh and exciting. They even mark were the coffee comes from on the map on the wall for us geographically challenged people. The only potential downside to this place is I didn’t see very many plugs around. So if you want to have a long study session here make sure your devices are fully charged.

Quite simply the BEST coffee in Mooresville. Dirk, Tarryn, Brad and the entire staff are just amazing and knowledgeable. I love that their flavors do not overpower the coffee, they have just the right balance. The interior is inviting with an incredibly cool vibe.

Finally some real good coffee!!! Barista knows how to make an amazing latte and pour over. Sarah, the manager is so friendly and her high standards of cleaning and procedures are admirable. The consistency and professionalism is a rarity. 100% a regular now.

What a great local coffee shop! We stopped in for the first time today and spoke with the head roaster for a couple minutes. They import and roast their own small batch coffee, and really emphasize freshness. All the coffee you buy is less than two weeks old! He was a nice guy, the coffee was great, and it feels good to be able to support a local Mooresville business. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere and of course, fantastic coffee! Came for a latte and ended up with a lemon tart square that reminded me of my favorite bakery in Providence. Barista (sadly didnt ask her name) was great and a sweetie. Made a dragon or a snake in a basket in my cup!

Absolute best espresso in Mooresville. They roast their own beans here, measure, properly tamp and extract a tasty espresso full of complex flavors. Love the fact they also use organic syrups and sauces. Also a great comfortable atmosphere.

Great coffee place. First time here and my first order was a salted mocha charcoal frappe with oatmilk, it was delicious. Definitely coming back here and the staff was super nice.

Quickly became a new favorite. If you want real coffee with amazing flavors, this is the place for you. The muffins are massive and amazing. Im gluten free, too, and the food is just super delicious. I highly recommend you stop in. And ask the baristas what their favorite drink is, thats my favorite way to find great coffee!

Amazing fresh roasted espresso! Urban Blend house espresso is great with it without milk. My favorite is the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe brewed as espresso.

Nice folks. Great coffee. Red rooibos latte is unusual and a specialty. Try it with oatmilk for something different. Good atmosphere for a leisurely cup or a short meeting.

I got the Ethiopian pour over and it was so good! Atmosphere makes this a great place to spend a few hours.

Their espresso blend (with a 25% of Colombian Arabica Coffee) had citric and nutty notes, it had a golden-brown crema, rich in flavors and as it cools down it tend to make the sweetness fluctuate through your tongue. After that, I tried their ColdBrew, that had sweet caramel notes and a very mellow body and soft taste. It was a nice time thus the baristas and roasters were very friendly. Looking forward to see y’all again! Thanks for the experience!

This is the second day in a row we’ve been here. The coffee is great! I loved the chocolate scone. Everyone working here is friendly and it is a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Urban Grind Roasters is amazing. Great atmosphere and the staff is ALWAYS helpful and knowledgeable about their coffee. We travel 45 minutes to enjoy this gem.

We quickly stopped in for the first time. I love the environment this shop has and its definitely a small business. Everything is made right there in front of you. They also have WiFi that is available for use as well as a small lounge the relax in. Be mindful however they are not setup for seating for a group bigger than 4 people without combining tables.

My girlfriend and I met here. Its our favorite place to go for coffee! Their lattes are amazing, the service is great, and it has a comfortable atmosphere.

This has quickly become my favorite coffee spot. I tried the salted mocha my first time in based on the recommendation of the sandwich board out front and come back to it several times since then. Despite the sweetness of the chocolate, the great coffee still manages to shine through. The service has also been friendly and top notch. Highly recommended.

Great brews... have enjoyed them w just cream and sugar as well as in latte form! Very nicely decorated and welcoming environment. Good amount of parking which can be a issue in the downtown area... haven’t tried any baked goods YET.

Amazing coffee spot! I got a caramel almond milk latte with a coffee cake. The coffee was flavorful, rich and freshly brewed! The coffee cake had a chocolate swirled bottom and sprinkled sweet top, perfect match with my coffee. The decor is balanced and relaxed. I really enjoyed the differences in textures from the wood and brick walls! Great service too!

Very good coffee. The espresso seems to be pulled for lattes more than drinking straight, but it’s still not bad black. The cold brew is phenomenal, and I had a homemade pop tart that was a little overpriced but definitely didn’t disappoint it was absolutely delicious (and being homemade I’m happy to pay a little more than a store bought pastry). They use their blend for all of the coffee. I do wish I could have tried the Ethiopia without buying a bag, but all in all a great coffee experience, and I’m not sure the barista’s name but he was really friendly and did a great job.

We absolutely love Urban Grind! The coffee is always excellent, every pastry we’ve tried has been fantastic, and the customer service is top notch. It’s trendy without being pretentious. We drive from Statesville just to come here!

Coffee is just ok...hours are awful...I take my daughter to Karate next door at 6pm. They close at 5. Karate tests take about 3 hours and start at 7. Youd think they would have special hours aligned with a bunch of people coming to watch their kid perform in the testing.. but noooo
