Very messy and unorganized. Not many things are cheaper here than other stores...DO NOT BUY THEIR FURNITURE!!! It will be worn in within 2 months and you will need a new couch again!

Came in to the Mooresville store to buy a dining room set, took it home when I opened up the box there was a bunch of mice droppings, and to our surprise a nest of mice in the furniture some alive some dead! So not only do I need to go buy a new dining room set now but also have to pay to exterminate my house for the mice that got away, thanks a lot Big lots! Never again will I shop at any of their stores!

They had a chair that I really wanted on the show floor but none in stock. They noted that no other store had it in stock after checking their system. The chair wasnt being sold on their website either. Yet, they would not sell me the one on display.

The employees there are very polite, knowledgeable, and keep the place clean and organized.

I love this store. We were looking for a new reclining loveseat and we found the perfect one.

Went looking for a new bedroom set, they used to have a good selection but not much of one anymore. With the help of the last in the furniture section we werent through some books and found what we were looking for. Ordered it and it arrived quickly, would purchase from there again.

Needed to get some totes, and I got some totes. The Christmas stuff was cleared out, but the furniture here is so nice. The staff was very friendly as well.

Big Lots is a hidden gem of a place to go shopping when you have 1 thing in mind, but find a handful of other things that you need or want. Our son recently purchased all his new furniture for his new apartment there, and saved a lot of money. And actually got good stuff.

Cashier was very nice and reminded me of Big Lot reward offers.

Big Lots is my alternative to a quick stop and grocery store. Im usually there 3 or 4 times a week for cat food, cleaning supplies, drinks etc. Every one is very nice and helpful. Im in an out quickly I love that. Parking is easy always something up near the door available. Oh and there is something new almost every visit. Seasonal decorations on sale. I got new cushions for my patio furniture just$15. Great! Halloween and fall is out and beautiful. Go enjoy

Have been to Big Lots a lot lately and have been really impressed with the customer service...today was the same but even more. Its thanksgiving and received the best service with a return on a malfunction. He was so nice and went the extra mile to get me the correct item and with a big SMILE. Always a neat place to go. Though shorter on tools, toys, and food compared to other locations, makes up for it with more furniture, housewares, and outdoor items. Prices still quite decent.

I used to enjoy this store. They have switched their emphasis, from food, gardening, cosmetics to furniture and housewares. Oh well.

Like the store and the people. Wished they had left the store the way it was. I am sure that 90 percent of the customers are NOT there for the furnature and REALLY dont see why it has to take up so DAMN much space and cause shoppers to contend with having to go around the massive area!

Went in and picked up a few things to purchase. Went to check out. Only one check out line open. Lady ahead of us had a problem and the store manager was trying to help the lady and was having difficulty. The cashier was standing next to him watching bit not assisting. I dont expect to be served before someone else but after 10 mins of standing watching this person struggle trying to help this person my wife and I were ignored. Why the cashier couldnt have check us out while the manager took care of the other customer is beyond me. Put our things back and left. The cashier and the manager glanced up and didnt seem to care that we put back our purchase and were leaving. Explains why there were only 3 people in the store. Wont be back.

Theyve gotten more expensive. I can find most of the same cheaper at a box store across the street. They still have some good deals but you have to know your prices

There is never anyone in the store to help you especially in the furniture department. You always have to hunt down someone to help you. Also there is normally just one register open at any given time. Hire some help!

This is the worst store I have ever visited. First, we were shopping for a couch and a love seat. We attempted 3 times to purchase it. When we went to the store, no one was at the furniture section. We asked for help and it took for ever for the associate to show up. Then we asked for the sofa and we were told they didnt have in stock. They did not offer any help in ordering it as the store does not have the system to pre-order, they do not deliver and they do not seem to care if they made the sale or not. On our third visit, I asked how can we get it. He said we could put in on law away so we did. For three weeks I called the store every other day and they did not have it. They would explain that they had some in stock but they were for other customers. So I continued to wait for my sofa. Finally, it arrived. Again, worst customer support. I had to call because the store did not call me to let me know that they had the furniture. When I finally went to the store to get the sofa, I complained to the associate who simply brush it off as we are too busy. Not even apologetic about the fact that the sofa was there for a few days and no one had call. Worst experience. Horrible customer support.

As with any Big Lots, its a hit or miss if youre looking for something in particular. But if you are just browsing you can get good deals. Cheaply made of course so dont expect to much. The store is clean.

ACTUALLY NO STARS- mini mart meets flea market furniture-some furniture even looked used. goodwill even has better stuff. sorry. This store really doesnt offer any value. AT ALL. staff not helpful. they did have bunk beds but really i expected a little more.(people with one sentence reviews are usualy employees or friends of staff)

My dad and I went there to buy furniture, and it was so frustrating. First, the three guys working back in furniture were standing there talking and wouldnt even acknowledge us, much less come offer help we needed. Then once my dad finally went to them, the 4 or 5 pieces of furniture totalling a sale of over a 1,000 dollars were not even in stock. The one piece they did have in the back had parts missing. The most frustrating part was all the time we wastes trying to get what we wanted. How convenient for them that day they offer 20% discount on everything you buy, they had nothing we wanted?!! Needless to say, Little lots is not a place to buy furniture. Lesson learned.
