We came to Jewelers on Main looking for a way to hopefully turn my new engagement ring into what I had originally envisioned. Due to a change on my part in the shape and size of the diamond when I originally purchased it (from a different jeweler), it originally turned out different from what I had anticipated and was expecting. Apparently cushions, which I love, are not always easy to accommodate, or at least, not with the look I was wanting and expecting! Alan and Katie went to work, and made it look exactly like what I had in mind originally. We were only changing the mounting, but I was so impressed with the time Katie took doing the most precise measurements, several different renderings, tweaking them and sending me different angles, etc. to view them from. It was a small change that some people might not even notice, but it was a big thing to me, and that is exactly how they approached it. They saw my vision, and made it happen! Now it looks like a complete ring, and everything flows together so beautifully! And everyone on the staff has been so welcoming and friendly, so good to work with! You are always greeted when you come in, and when you leave, usually by more than one person. A great place to do business!

I HIGHLY recommend this jewelry store. It was my first time there and I will most definitely be going back. They engraved my fiances wedding band and it came out amazing! The staff was so incredibly nice, friendly, and all have mastered customer service skills! They helped me pick out a nice font for the engraving and Im so glad I took their recommendation. If you dont have no knowledge about diamonds color cut clarity when you leave here you will know everything about your diamond and have an understanding of size and all of that very friendly knowledgeable excellent service and they are not the pushy type to try to sell you any type of diamond they explain everything about your diamond and they let you make the choice. My fiancé and I just recently bought our wedding bands here and we had the best experience! The staff was patient, kind, and helpful and we LOVE our rings :) Plus they cleaned my engagement ring for free and made it look like new! Very friendly and courteous staff. We were greeted at the door. My wife had a necklace shortened and the jeweler did it right then! I also dropped off a clock for repair since that service is also available. Also, the best ring cleaning and polishing Ive ever experienced (and its free)! This was my first time to visit the jewelers and I highly recommend them to anyone needing their services.

First I should preface this by saying I dislike leaving bad reviews. However, I had my second and third ear piercings done at Jewelers on Main, and both piercings are crooked. I had a tattoo parlor do my most recent piercing because I don’t trust them to do my piercings anymore. The staff were very friendly, but these are permanent piercings in my ear that are crooked. Two stars because the actual jewelers aspect is good quality, however, I would think twice about getting your ears pierced here.

I was astonished that the salespeople don’t wear masks in this pandemic. I was going to purchase something, but when I asked the sales woman why she wasn’t wearing a mask, she said she didn’t have to! Well, I don’t have to risk my life shopping there and I know I would never shop in a business that is so out of touch and uncaring for others. My husband and I have frequented this place often and weve enjoyed chatting with the employees and owners in the past. The work is exceptional. And we work to support smaller or individual businesses.Why a 3 star?? Today, we went into Jewelers on Main. And it completely unnerved my husband and I that not one employee was wearing a mask. If thats the case, perhaps put a sign outside the premises identifying that no employees will be wearing masks. That will let potential customers know before they walk in that they need to make a decision whether or not to go inside. Obviously theres a choice for businesses who prefer not to follow the mandatory mask law put forth by North Carolina. We respect your decision. But, it would have been better to know it before walking into your store.We could have left. But, we have so enjoyed our time there, and appreciated all the services weve received, in the past. But, this was pre-Covid-19.

I went there to get a ring resized and they got it done in one 1 day and they were half the price of the other place across the street.

We have always been happy with their work, but not one single employee wearing face masks. Obviously, they dont care about their customers, so we wont go back. Its a shame!

Unsafe, none of the employees wear masks and I was so disappointed because I needed an engagement ring and wanted to support a small business. I am immunocompromised and was talked down to when I requested the young woman I was interacting with to wear a mask.

My engagement rings diamond fell out when my sister sat on my hand, and I was looking for a local jewelry repair place when I found Jewelers On Main. I called and asked if they could fix my ring and the girl that answered the phone was super friendly and helpful so I decided to go with them. Once I arrived the staff was super nice and I didnt have to wait long for my ring to be ready. Im new to the town of Mooresville so I decided to walk up and down the street in downtown where they are located, and its beautiful. By the time I came back my ring was ready and cleaned and SO SHINY they even cleaned my wedding band! I highly recommend this place. Super friendly and prompt. You dont have to wait weeks for a simple repair like most other jewelers.

My wife ask me if I could have a pair of gold and diamond earrings modified. She inherited them from her mom. The posts were too large and we were not sure if the posts were gold. New to the area, I had no idea where to take the earrings, so I went online, read some reviews and decided to stop in Jewelers On Main. I was greeted by Nick and I explained to him what my wife was looking to do. He took the earrings, looked at them under his scope and said, the post were in fact gold. I expected to to leave them and pick them up in a week. Nick said, I can have this done in 15 minutes. I was surprised and elated. He also said asked if i wanted the old posts and backings, or they would credit me for the weight of the old posts and backings. Again, a nice surprise. I took a walk up Main Street checking out the other stores and returned in 15 minutes. Nick was cleaning the earrings as i walked in. Ashley took care of the sales transaction and asked if this was a gift. I replied yes it was and she promptly said, let me wrap them for you. A few minutes later, she returned with them in a box with wrapping paper and a small decorative bag. I was blown away by the service I received. I highly recommend them and will be back for any repairs and new purchases in the future. Thanks again, Ashley and Nick! Merry Christmas.

We were greeted by Chelsea right away. We explained what we were looking for and Chelsea worked with us every step of the way. She never pushed my wife towards anything and listened to what my wife was describing that she was looking for. This seems to be a lost value in stores today.Alan and Chelsea even stayed late after the store closed to mount a new diamond and size my wifes new rings. Alan and Chelsea even helped setup a pendent that the original engagement diamond could be put in to be worn on a necklace. We cant say enough of how the entire experience was. The owner Alan is amazing. He cut my now Fiance an amazing deal on our ring, when I got it I quickly proceeded to beat the darn thing up. I went in today and they fixed the prong(s) that was a little bent and shined her right up for me.Their prices are great and they have a decent selection; if you dont see what you want. Ask. They are more then happy to order something for you or help you create a custom piece. We will be going back to them for our bands and any jewelry in the future. Originally went in with my fiance to have a bracelet sized. The girl who greeted us, Chelsea, was EXTREMELY friendly! We asked her (and she then asked the gemologist, Alan) to identify whether the stones were real (which, they turned out not to be, so that made our decision much easier)! While my fiance was talking to Alan, Chelsea showed me a few pieces, and we had a wonderful conversation. Even though we stayed past closing time, Chelsea didnt rush us out of the store, she was very polite and patient and listened to our questions. She told us about the company that they buy from and gave us their information so we could browse their selection (since we were looking for something specific). They also cleaned all of my rings, including my engagement ring, and theyve never looked better! What started out as a simple trip turned into us finding our new favorite place! I took my wedding ring that is very sentimental to me being handed down to me from my late father. For the longest time I couldnt find a place that I felt comfortable leaving my ring with for repair. The folks at Jewelers on Main not only instantly gave me that down home feeling I was looking for but they very quickly repaired my ring for me. Originally I was told it may take up to a week but probably not because they were ahead of schedule. The very next day I received a call saying my ring was finished and ready to be picked up!!! Talk about quick turn around service!! When I got the ring back I couldnt be more happy with the repair as well as how they took the extra time to repolish and shine the entire ring. It looked brand new like the day my mom bought it for my dad!! Thank you so much Jewelers on Main!! We will be coming to yall for all our jewelry needs in the future!

Very disappointed in Jewelers on Main. I did not authorize them to do anything to the band of my antique ring, only to add prongs to the stones. Now the ring is too large since they took it upon themselves to change the band. Went in to inquire what happened and I was dismissed, told Rings are round. Apparently they hammered the band. The kicker is they want to charge me to now resize, or rather put it back the way it was!! Absolutely ZERO customer service. They should NEVER have touched the band without my consent. Nothing on my receipt does it say they are going to make the band larger, only add prongs. PERIOD. This is a dishonest business practice, and is just plain wrong.

My husband came here when it was time for him to pick out an engagement ring, and he said that Jewelers was very helpful in helping him find the perfect ring as well as working with him to get a different diamond in the setting. We returned to Jewelers to buy our wedding bands, and since getting married Ive stopped by periodically to get my ring cleaned. Every time it comes back sparkling and Alan always checks my settings to make sure my little diamonds are secure. It also never takes very long, no matter how busy they are.Im most impressed with the memory they have for customers. They know exactly who I am every time I come in, and even remember details about me. Three of the people there recognized when I got a hair cut, and they even remembered that I had gotten a new job within the past year (and remembered what my old job was!). Every time I go in there Im impressed with their customer service, and they have never tried to sell me something I wasnt interested in, even as Im wandering the store waiting for my ring to be cleaned. This is definitely my jeweler of choice!
