The owners of this store are great and the oils and vinegars are awesome, but the management is awful. In response: Yes, I encountered this person at the store pre-employment. She was rude and ugly at that time but I thought it was just a bad day for her. I was wrong.

I am not one for writing reviews, but I wanted to let everyone know about the wonderful products at this little treasure in Mooresville. My family and I visited The Enchanted Olive over the holidays while we were in town visiting family. They have the BEST balsamic anywhere and their olive oils are very fresh. I would recommend this store over and over again. I placed an order online and just received my shipment. I am so glad because I was almost out. Customer service is amazing and I received my order in a timely manner. Love, Love, Love this store. Cant wait to visit on my next trip to Mooresville.

WOW! I have many things to say. I have gone to this store for a long time. When it was on Main Street in Mooresville the woman in the store was always unpleasant, never engaging or helping me as a customer. Of course she took my money, but even then no smile or thank you. Fine. I went because the product was good. If I told anyoneI always said the woman is very unfriendly but decent product.They moved to the Antique Mall and a very nice woman worked the store there. Things went along swimmingly, until they disappeared. After calling and inquiring I got a reply (about a week or two later) that they would be moving to Langtree. To celebrate my sister gave me a gift certificate.Today I went in to use my certificate. The same nice woman from the Antique Mall was there, but she didnt know how to take a gift certificate. She finally got ahold of the owner who told me it had to be redeemed online. Folks the certificate says 3 ways to use your certificate, give your phone number, your email or the code to the cashier. The owner made n attempt to help the nice store employee make the sale. They, on speaker phone, basically told me I was using my gift incorrectly.I was only going to buy 1-2 bottles, then they said just take product equal to the amount of the certificate, but still did not tell the poor employee how to handle the sale. I left. I am frustrated and annoyed that my gift was not honored.Times are tough. We were supporting a small business but it backfired. Dont sell a certificate you are not going to honor.No, I was told I was supposed to order online because I purchased online (BTW this was a gift and purchased for me). As you can see from the photo of my screen it says redeem in store with code.I left because I had to be somewhere and the nice woman in the store still didnt know how to ring up the certificate once I picked a third bottle. I didnt have any more time to waste.I would say dont sell certificates if you dont know how to honor them.I went to Pour Olive in Charlotte . I will use use my certificate since you have the money, but I am disappointed that you still blame me and give no apology.

Enchanted Olive used to be a premier boutique in Mooresville, and now it’s seemingly on the brink of collapse. Relegated to a dusty corner of the Antique mall, even the employees have somehow forgotten about it. I’ve been no less than three times in the past six months, and every time I’ve found myself staring at a yellow gate blocking the entrance, no employees in sight. The business hours are displayed clearly on the website and on a sign, yet nobody can be bothered to work them. I was there Saturday (June 13th), at 4:12 pm, and you guessed it: Closed, even though the sign says open until 6;00pm. Only a tiny selection of bottles stacked on display next to the gate were available.It’s a shame, because they have a great product. I wish the owners cared about it as much as the customers who try to shop there.

Nice people lots of olive oil, all flavours

I use to love coming here with family when they had the old store. I’m very disappointed to see that they moved and now do not sell the large bottles of oil. They also don’t offer tasting like they use to with the small peace’s of bread.. it really just takes away from the ambiance. You now have to get everything in very small bottles, which might not seem like an issue to all but the large bottles use to sale for maybe $30 and were huge like wine bottles (maybe 800ml) the new Very small ones are 12 oz and we’re priced kinda high to be so small.. the lady working said they don’t have the space for large bottles but.. why just not fill them till someone orders? That way you don’t have to have them on display.We live in Greensboro and I’m very disappointed we wasted so much time going.

What a pleasant surprise when I walked into this exceptional olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting bar. The atmosphere is perfect with the rustic brick walls and wood floor. The staff was over the top helpful in mixing and matching tastes just for me based on the flavor I told them I like. They have over 25 varieties of olive oil and large selection of traditional and white flavored balsamic vinegars. I was happy to find that they also carry specialty oils such as avocado, walnut and truffle. And I love the olive oil lotions and soaps.

A fantastic selection of high quality oils and vinegars coupled with a knowledgeable and very friendly staff makes this place a must visit for foodies and kitchen novices alike. Add to this the fact that you can sample the oils and vinegars and you get the recipe for a wonderful specialty shop. They also have a nice selection of spices at very good prices.

Fantastic oils and knowledgeable staff. I love that you can taste anything in there and the staff is ready and willing (and capable of!!) making recommendations for certain blends and for what types of food you will be using it with. But be warned!! If you are a foodie or love to cook, bring your check book! You cant walk out of there with just one bottle! Everything is just too good to pass up!

Nice selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars. I love the whole tasting experience. I was very unsatisfied with the staff. I felt like I was an inconvenience and was being rushed to choose what I wanted. I picked up an empty bottle to see the size to know how much it cost and the woman came rushing over and rudely told me that she was the one who filled the bottles. I just wanted to know how much it cost and she went in this long explanation about ounces and how much of a cup, but the sign with the price was in ml and thats all I wanted to know. I wont be returning to be treated so lowly.

They have the best olive oils ad balsamic vinegars. Best shop in the universe.

I had bought 5 bottles and 1 of the vinegars tasted sour so I tried to exchange it. However the lady was very nasty and would not correct the situation. What kind of company does not stand behind their products? Make sure you taste everything before purchasing regardless if it’s one you frequently buy. I won’t be back.

I shopped in the Mooresville store today 12-12-18. I have been going there for 4 years. When I shopped there 4 years ago I always worked with a very nice man behind the counter. He was always cheerful, and helpful. He would tell me things that I never had to ask.In the last two years I have had to work with a woman who never smiles, makes me feel like I’m disturbing her and never tells me about discounts or if I can get money off the bottle I just returned empty.Today, I get the same unfriendliness.I brought 2 bottles to be filled again and ordered 3 bottles of olive oil and 3 vinegars as Christmas presents.As she is ringing me up I watch her cap the 8 bottles. What I see is new clear bottles and she has no pour spouts to add to my bottles. I ask if she can add them and she tells me they no longer fit the new bottles as of a month ago.I tell her I am very disappointed because it’s not fun to have to be so careful pouring what little amounts you need. And that the 6 were Christmas presents.What I should have done (and I kick myself for it) was stop the sale right there. But I didn’t!!I let her ring me up and take my credit card. Then I was wondering why she didn’t tell me about the discount that I get for returning and using my old bottles and she said “okay I’ll give you 10% off” and then she noticed that I had a USAA credit card....asked me if I was a Vet.I then asked and wondered about putting olive oil in clear glass, thought it was better for olive oil to be in dark containers (see below from Wikipedia)And she told me it was fine!(Store olive oil in a dark-colored glass bottle, which helps to keep out the light, or in a stainless steel container. This will protect the oil from exposure to sunlight. If you buy your olive oil in a large tin, consider pouring smaller amounts in a dark-colored bottle to use as you need it.)I’m very upset that I didn’t have the guts to stop the sale. I told her she had lost my business. I went to my car and thought about it a minute and came back to the store wanting to return these items. She wouldn’t do it because it’s a food item.I’m very upset, I feel I have purchased a defective product being that they are in clear glass bottles and I feel terrible that I can’t give a nice Christmas gift with a proper pouring spout.I won’t go back unless the owner makes it right.I live in Maine for 6 months and can do my business at ‘Fiores Vinegar’ in Freeport and haul it with me every year.I give the product a 4 but the manager gets a 1. And the bottling and pour spout don’t even rate!
