Absolutely no care for health and safety of customers. Employees werent wearing masks and many customers werent either. I will be taking my business elsewhere. They also wipe out the review code on receipts so that no one can leave a review with the company.

I am ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED with Dollar General in Brooklyn. I have been shopping at this (what use to be family friendly) store since it opened. I shopped there during changes in management and the filth the management let the brand new store become. The cleanliness is much better than it use to be however, the FILTH is much worse! What Im referring to is a different kind of filth. Recently, the store has started selling Sports Illustrated SWIMSUIT EDITION. Not only did they start selling it but they have placed it directly in front of the door less than 3 above the ground, PERFECT EYE LEVEL FOR KIDS! It is impossible for kids to not see it let alone anyone who simply walks through the door. My young son tonight pointed it out and said She is not swimming, thats nasty, I dont want to see a girl with her clothes off. As I was walking out the door which had to be unlocked for me since they just closed, I mentioned the magazine to the male employee with longer black hair and said How does Dollar General think that this is appropriate? Any other store you go to its at least covered by a white plastic board not completely exposed directly in front of the door at a childs eye level or for the whole world to see when they walk up to the door! I turned it around so it is not shown and he ignored what I said then out of complete disrespect for what I said, turned the magazine back over as I was walking out the door. I am furious!! I will no longer shop there while they sell that SMUT! I have spent thousands there since they have been open, NO LONGER!!

This place has everything. Great bargain shopping. Scan items before you buy them and you might find out that its actually cheaper than what the price tag says.

Still have what I came for just seemed like they dont have enough employees to keep all their merchandise in order. Everything seemed disorganized and a little messy. But the employees that i have encountered thus far have been kind and pleasant.

The Manager is very very rude!! Threw my cigarettes at me today!! The guys that work there are always nice but that blonde manager is so rude and doesnt need to be in customer service period.

The store is always in disarray. Its always dirty and the staff always has to be called to the front to check us out. I will keep going back because the store is literally right next to my house and its convenient.

I mean its a dollar general, so not much to say. Theyre all pretty much the same other than this one always seems to have one employee on duty that shouldnt use before work.

I Think Our Local Dollar General Store has Some of the Best People! They know Alot of Us Customers by Name & I Think that is like Family! I Thank You Bob, Amanda & Tabby for being Wonderful & for the New ones that are there.

I love having Dollar General close by. They have alot of item that we need. They have a good selection of lower cost items and name brands as well.

They need bigger space for the quantity of merchandise. All n all it was good.

Was accused of stealing a $1 box of fabric softener after I just bought $70, manager stood there while cashier checked us out then stopped me, I told her she was incorrect gave her my receipt, she checked everything in the cart against it and EVERYTHING WAS ITEMIZED, she said OK it was all on the receipt I could leave, no apology Then called cops told them I refused to show her receipt or wait for cops. Cops said they watched video however if they did they would of seen me stop let her check my bags and that she let me leave. Still cant go to to or be on any DG property in America. This is a poorly, cluttered store ran by rude people. Only have 1 good employee since they opened and her name is Chrissy.

Usually visit this location once-to-multiple times a day. Note that they I.D for cigarettes and lighters every time no matter your age. Usually have all the home goods you would need, decorations, hygiene products and a small array of makeup, baby supplies and food. One stop shop close to home; keeps you from running to town.

They seem to have a smile on their face when we show up like theyre glad them see us, theyre in the neighborhood on stay well-stocked on the basic things we need around the house, its just a quick jump in and out. Our whole family just loves it.

The store is always a mess and they are out of stuff all the time. The employees are not very friendly either.

They have a little bit of everything and so close its a quick trip.

Empty shelves always. Dirty as well.

This is one of tge cleanest Dollar General Store i have been in and the Manager there is very customer oriented, and has emplyees trained to help with what you need! This store is one of the best around with it being cleaned and organized!

I only go to this store because its the closest to my house I do not enjoy shopping here most of the time it is hard to find someone to help you and the store is always in disarray there are items allover the place it looks like they run out of items and instead of putting them on the shelf they just put it on carts and leave them in the middle of the lanes I always have to move these carts just to get to the items i need i wish they had better management i complain every time Im there and I always get told they dont have enough employees and that they cant hire anymore
