My cousin was trying to get a Bow hunting deer license with the veteran discount. the employee insisted that this is not a thing and does not exist. The manager came, was a very rude individual, and also insisted that this license does not exist. showed him online and in the booklet that it does exist and he refused to help him. Was very rude and unhelpful, we went to moorhead scheels and he had his veteran discount within 2 minutes. for free. I’ve been a long time customer of Runnings but will not be coming back after that experience.

Nice clean store. Could use more staffing but these days who couldnt? Some items out of stock quite often (Mountain House camping meals) in sporting goods. Better order management? Overall though would recommend and shopping their sales is best to get better deals. Regular prices are pretty much on par with other local retailers.

DISCRIMINATESNever heard of Runnings. But as soon as I walk in with my Service Dog Im asked to leave my backpack up front 🤨It takes me a sec to process. Huh? Nobody but Family Dollar (who I dont patronize anymore) or the occasional convenience store in a high crime area does that.But Im like.. oohokay, leave it where? And this Greeter or whoever says oh just up front here and points to some empty shelves RIGHT AT THE DOOR! 😳🤯rrrright... ok sure you dont trust me hobbling along with a Service Dog with my backpack secured out of reach and not able to acces without a lot of trouble... buuut Ima trust you with $100+ of PAID merchandise from Walmart packed to the gill backpack sitting right there.. a LITERAL DOOR PRIZE for you I would assume or some other lucky thief grabbing it on the way out.. or in.. who knows?!So as Im standing out front writing this, 2 nice ladies, one WITH A BACKPACK, the other with a purse comes out, comments how cute Ginger (my Service Dog) is 🙄😉. So I ask them if they were required to leave their bags at the front.NOPESo its confirmed: its NOT a policy, obviously, just good ol fashioned discrimination! Spending money here supports that.

I liked the store until the go-cart i got for my nephew. The guys in back couldnt get it started. I stepped in after 25 min and noticed the carb had engine oil in it. Weird right? Someone had filled it all the way up with oil. ALL THE WAY FULL. checked oil and it was pouring out of the fill hole. I tried to reach out to the store. Never got a answer,discount, or anything.

Good selection but bad customer service/ lazy workers.Needed help finding an item but no one was willing to bring me to the section to show me where it was. Even the customer service department wouldnt. Instead they pointed and started playing on their phones again. Ill be going to Tractor Supply or Fleet Farm for now on.

Always a great place to shop

First time I was ever in the store, it reminds me of a fleet supply which I really enjoy those types of stores. I was there to purchase just pan fish jigs this time around, they have and incredible selection on various items and I would 100% recommend this store to anyone.

I always buy Ed Curries Carolina Reapers from their greenhouse. The only people in town who stock the super hot peppers.

Love this place they have it all and the are an authorized Cub Cadet, Dewalt, Milwaukee, dealer and when I say they have it all I mean it. Not much you cant find there.

My husband was looking for ammunition. Like most other places they did not have what we were looking for

Good shopping and is enforcing the governors mask mandate. They make you and the employees safety a priority. It is more than a hardware store.

This place has everything starting with the people they are very friendly and helpful, then they absolutely anything you could need or want and last the prices are as low as I have seen or just as comparable to any other store of this. The only thing I would like to see is put up in Valley City or Jamestown N.D. so I wouldnt have to pay this crazy taxes Fargo- Moorehead has.

If you need workware clothing this is a great place shop at. And the sales associates and staff are very friendly.

I am not very happy that I came down here hearing that they have very cute hey dudes hear, so I come down to find there is only 2 pairs for woman and they aren’t even cute but they have many styles for men and I would of bought the men’s but they don’t have my size I am very disappointed.

Went to look for several items and found them all here from a propane torch to solar motion lights and several items between. This is a very well staffed and well stocked store that I enjoy visiting every time.

I go to Running for my bird food, 40 lb bags of black oil sunflower seeds. They are the cheapest in town. They also have a wide variety of tools, sporting goods, farm necessities, clothes, they have everything.

I love Runnings because for one theres many people there that actually care about what you are looking for but there are two in particular that mean the world to me when I will go in there of course one of them is Susan in the farm department and the other one is Shawna both of them are amazing you describe what you need theyll tell you exactly where its at or they will take you to where it is you couldnt ask for anything better than that thank you Shawna t-ray and thank you Susan for all your hard work and your appreciation for your customers

Theres Fleet Farm and then theres Runnings booth places are similar but I prefer this place when it comes to clothing and general ease of use. The best part is its in MN so theres no tax on clothes unlike ND stores. They sell almost anything a man could use from guns to clothes to power tools.

I had never been to a Runnings and decided to check it out while looking for some insulated bibs for work and failing to find anything in womens sizes at several other stores and they had them! They had a ton of other stuff too. They have pretty much anything youd need for home, farm, work and apparel. Have since been back for boots. The staff has been friendly and helpful as well on both visits. I will definitely go back for future needs.

Im from out of state and this store was a totally different animal. Nothing like it in my state of North Carolina. They were able to assist me with my short-term fishing license and gear. They are a cross between home Depot and Field and stream with a local flavor.

They have everything, I loved it. Not sure on the pricing yet but I will investigate more in time. Price match is the key.

I called them on Monday to see if they had any chicks in. I was told by Adam that they were coming in tomorrow (Tuesday). My husband and I drove from South Fargo and we show up to ZERO chicks. One of the clerks told us they werent coming in until Thursday and all staff knew that. I called on Thursday morning, on our way to the store, to see if the chicks were there. I was told by Rachel, that they were in and for sale. So we show up today, Thursday, to a few brooders full of chicks. The clerk by the chicks informs us that they were all pre-sold and none of them were available. She said they were receiving more either later Thursday or sometime Friday. Such a joke. We drove all the way there TWICE with them telling us they were available. So we said, screw it, and went to Tractor Supply Company. We were able to get 4 chicks and 2 ducklings right away with no hassle. Highly recommend heading over there rather than wasting your time at Runnings.

Needed to get a belt for my hubby! Loved the range of options! Very nice! Besides they sell lots of unusual types of soda pop! I like trying new things, so that was fun for me! I discovered vanilla cream pop is yummy. Next Id like to try their chocolate soda to see what thats like! 😊

Best selection and prices on riding lawn mowers I could find in town

I purchased a pair of gloves in medium not realizing that they would stretch out. I was super excited about them got home, took off the tags, and went about life. Well, after that first day/night they just werent fitting the same. I looked for the tags and couldnt find them, so I set aside the gloves till I was heading there. So, about a week later I was headed out of town and stopped in with the receipt. AnneMarie (I do believe this was her name) helped me at the customer services desk and she is awesome. She was so understanding, after I explained myself, she told Me go get the ones I needed. I brought the smalls up, she did the exchanges without any hassle, I signed what was needed, and I walked out a happy little lady😉😁 Runnings also has a huge animal area that I found items for my four legged furry family member, so if you havent been check it out.

I have never been to a Runnings location. Wanted to check it out. As I was walking in the store I was advised to leave my backpack at the front door. My backpack is smaller than most women’s purses. I find in appropriate to tell me, a 25 year old man, to leave my backpack at the front of the store if a woman can bring in her purse in without a problem. Would it have been different if I wasn’t carrying it as a backpack? If it’s your corporate policy, then change the policy to leave school backpacks not all backpacks.

The plants were fantastic. I got tomatoes, asparagus and red peppers. The people working the plants knew everything even about the taste of the tomatoes and they have a huge variety. I liked that they also knew about soil and planting and showed me how to save money and still do the garden I wanted.

Can always find a unique or interesting item, large hunting, fishing section. Just a little bit above other retailers on pricing. But you dont get the crowds so thats a benefit. Summer flowers are above average
