Two years ago I had Comfort Masters install a Carrier split unit cooling system in my house. The team at Comfort Masters were very professional and provided exceptional customer service.This past month the boiler/hot water heat system in my house failed which was installed by a different company. After consulting with Jason and his team at Comfort Masters I was told I could use the Carrier system as a heat pump to keep my house warm while i waited for a new boiler to be installed. The Carrier heat pump system kept my house at 70 degrees even though the air temperature outside dipped below zero.For anyone looking for a cooling system that also can be used as an emergency heat source I would strongly recommend contacting Comfort Masters and installing a spit unit system!

I had a great experience with Comfort Masters. My air conditioner went out and they were able to come out the same day to get it fixed. Ross was pretty sure he knew what was wrong right from the start. He was right and had it fixed very quickly. He showed me the old part and what the problem was. He even went out and cleaned up the entire unit. When he came back in he had some very good recommendations for me on how to prolong the life of the unit...even though it is very old. He also took the time to ask if I regularly changed my furnace filter to help with the efficiency of that. When I told him we have a hard time finding the proper furnace filter he even went down and looked at it. He also had some advice for me on ways to save money on heating if/when we build our new house. I never felt like he was trying to sell me anything, just gave good advice! He was really sweet and I appreciated the time he took to answer all of my questions. I will definitely be calling Comfort Masters for any future needs.

So many good things to say about this company! From the initial bid to the follow up emails and opportunity to ask questions...great friendly service! The investment made on new air/heat units was worth it and installation crew left my place completely cleaned and looking sharp! I received two additional bids prior to contacting this company....so worth the time and I’m very happy with everything this company did!

Ive had 2 garage heaters installed by them (2 different houses) as well as an air exchange unit. Theyve done great work in both houses, even made recommendations to help save money and we went with a different unit that actually performs better and took up less room. Great staff and timely follow ups. I always recommend these guys as much as possible.

Very happy with the service I received today. My AC stopped working this morning and Comfort Masters was able to come out and fix my unit all in under 3 hours from the time I called. The tech who came out was very knowledgeable, had a great attitude, and took the time to provide some helpful tips on how to prolong the life of my equipment.

Ross did his magic work to get our air conditioner up and running. We were so very happy he arrived on time (even a few minutes early) and then checked furnace/air filters before leaving us with cool air again. Nice guy who knows his stuff. Great ambassador for the company.

I contacted Comfort Masters to get an estimate on replacing our mini-split AC/Heat system. Jason Beyerink came out quickly and had an estimate for me the next day. Comfort Masters estimate was $1200 less than a competitor. The new system was installed in less than a week. The installers were fast and left the house clean. The office manager helped register the system to insure I would get the manufacturer 10 year warranty. I could not have been more pleased with everything! This is my second time of dealing with Comfort Masters (last time about 14 years ago with my first mini-split) and their service was top-quality both times.

Great service! happily sitting in my air conditioned house after Comfort Masters service (today was a record high temp day in Moorhead 6-1-2020)Here is my review for Bears Home Solutions:I had a tech from Bears come by this winter to diagnose my Daiken mini split. Upon arrival he told me it was low refrigerant and would have to be 50 degrees outside to check for leaks and recharge (this gentleman was pleasant but wrong). I waited until spring and warmer weather and called Bears back. This new service tech named Scott was crude and unprofessional. He came and lollygagged and came to the conclusion that the outdoor fan unit, feeding two indoor wall units, would have to be replaced...FOR $6,000!!! My system is not even 3 years old. I told him immediately to leave my property. I called Comfort Masters out of Moorhead, who ran a fresh diagnostic. It turns out the only problem was my fan unit was out of level, causing the fan blade to hit the fan unit housing and fault out the motor- $245 later and I have a perfectly great working AC system (today 6-1-2020 record high temperature in Moorhead), and has been working great for almost 4 weeks. Comfort Master made me aware that Bears pays their employees commission, therefore they sell you stuff you dont need. some people would define this as criminal.

New furnace and ac installed today. So pleased with the excellent service I have always experienced with Comfort Masters. The installation was done faster than I thought it would take and they made sure any of my questions were answered. I like to do business with Moorhead businesses and they make it easy to rely on them for always doing a good job.

I highly recommend Comfort Masters! When we had our 60 below zero weather this winter our furnace went out. We called a bunch of places and every place refused to come out because they were too busy or blew us off because we weren’t a lifetime loyal customer of theirs. Comfot Masters is the only company that took the time to come out and make sure that my family wouldn’t freeze to death that night! They attempted to repair my central air last July. It did not work when they came and after they left it still did not work, yet they sent me a bill for 569.00 dollars. I could not be more disappointed in this company than I am right now.
