I reached out to JT Lawn this spring for a number of services as my family had just moved into a new house. We ended up having them install an irrigation system, a dozen trees, and sod - along with some landscaping around a trampoline area.Every part of their service has been excellent! The team came out and did an initial grade prior to the sprinkler system going in, then the crew came and installed the irrigation system itself and setup everything along with the app so I can control it from my phone. Everyone answered any questions I had, and a special shoutout to Greg who continues to respond to any emails I send his way on how much I should be watering.Chris from their team helped me select trees and plan where to put them in the yard. I ended up with a variety of different trees through the yard and they look great! These might be the largest container trees Ive seen - its hard to tell their sizes in the pictures, the maples are probably around 18 feet and the main river birch tree is well over 20 feet tall at the time of planting.The last service was the landscaping under and around the trampoline so I dont have to move it every week (thanks for the idea Chris!), and then the sod installation. Once again their team got everything completed incredibly fast, and had the irrigation system setup and watering it on the needed schedule that same day.Its been about 2 weeks since the sod was put in and everything was completed and I will definitely be using them for future work. Timely and reasonably priced. Only downside is they dont have an auto-pay option currently which is more of a personal preference.

I’ve gotten my lawn work done by this company for 5 years and they are awesome! Always responsive, great customer service when signing up, and the crew’s hard work really reflects on our yard!! Would definitely recommend!

JT Lawn service has done a few projects for us. Chris is professional, courteous and it just gets better and better everytime. The laborers work until its done to our requests. Ive never had to re-explain, redo, or complain ONCE. I recommend this outfit for everything anytime.

We have used JT Lawn Service for the past 6 years. During this time we have received phenomenal service from all team members, but most notably Trent and Chad. Trent had always cut our grass. Neighbors would ask who we used, stating we had the most beautiful lawn in the neighborhood! He also had excellent communication with us, notifying me of when he as well as the weed/fertilizer crew would be out, discussing care and treatment of our lawn and looking after our home when we were out of the country. When Trent was promoted and I was informed we’d have a new person, I was devastated. However, Chad was able to provide the same exceptional service and communication that we had become accustomed to. Chad even went above and beyond coordinating different cut days due to the selling of our home; making sure our lawn looked pristine for potential buyers. Would highly recommend JT Lawn Service for your lawn care needs. Thank you Trent and Chad!

If I could give this a 0 I would. Ordered sod, and curbing. Received hydro seed, wrong curbing for hydro seed, a damaged driveway, two damaged electrical boxes, and the hydro seed didn’t grow. They came back and reseeded but still didn’t take. Now they won’t do anything to fix the yard. Moral of the story, if you want a yard and don’t want your property damaged DONT DO BUSINESS WITH JT!

Mike and the team were very professional with a wealth of knowledge to help make the project enjoyable. Hired JT Lawn last summer to redo the landscaping around our house. From the planning, the actual project and them needing to come back a year later to replace some plants that didnt come back was a great experience. The quality of the job is great, they stand behind there warranty and are always a pleasure to work with. Just a all around great company. Definitely recommend these guys!

In the Fall of 2019 I started from scratch with my new home designing the landscaping with Chris and Josh. After they both made the trip out to visit my property, they were both very helpful with the design with many ideas and suggestions. I chose over 60 plants, concrete curbing, rock, hydro seeding and trees. After all this was done everything turned out fantastic and my curbside appeal is beautiful. Two thumbs up and 5 stars to them!

I cannot say enough good things about JT Lawn Services! We had issues with browning grass, weeds and overgrown bushes and they came, quoted me very fairly and did the work in good time. I felt very well taken care of and would absolutely use them again! Thanks for the great service!!

Initially, the salesperson/landscaper was very responsive to questions. Once I told the salesperson had secured my business, the communication was very spotty and eventually just stopped altogether.The rep did stop by and took a look at the property. The first words out of his mouth were an attempt to up-sell me which was off putting. We did decide to potentially get a quote for the up-sell included on the estimate. The estimate or plans never arrived. I made three more attempts to communicate with the representative over an eight day period. Two emails were sent directly to the rep and I made a phone call to the main office to check on estimate/plans and schedule the lawn work. I received no response. Ultimately, I have made the decision to move on to another service.I figure the company lost $3000 in tree sales, $2000 in upgrades, and $500 in Spring lawn service.

I had my lawn graded and seeded. Then a storm washed a lot of the seed away, they seeded the whole yard again which i didnt expect free of charge. My only complaint is the communication could be better.

Ive been a customer of JT lawn service off and on for over 7 years. They are highly responsive, and most importantly a great value. I found out that my property manager had hired other companies who were charging me more for a lower quality of work, I rectified that with one call to JTs. I trust JTs lawn service, and that trust was earned, not given.

Very happy with landscaping done last summer. There were no surprises when it came to the final bill and everything was done in a reasonable amount of time.

They were very professional and efficient in creating our lovely land scapes. The crew cleaned up after the project and it was a great addition to our home.

Sod was laid fine, but the grading in the back was incorrect. JT Lawn convinced us it was the lots around it, but after we had an engineer walk the yard we found out the back where the drainage is was completely flat. They read the cut lines wrong. After explaining the situation to JT Lawn and asked for a bid to correct it they told me they were booked for the year.

Called on a Friday described my Job I needed done and was told that someone will call but it was a small Job. No one called. I called the following Monday and was told by the same person that. We dont do small Job right now. Why wasnt I told on Friday if they dont take on SMALL JOBS wasting my time. If they are to big for that say so. I planned this job and this Fall I needed more extensive work for my Company but they wont get that work either.

When I bought my new house, the lawn was full of weeds and very patchy - now that they’re fertilizing/spraying for weeds and mowing for me, it’s FINALLY coming back to life! I’m very happy!!

They were responsive to my request and questions. I appreciate that they give me notice when they are planning on servicing my lawn and they get it done in the time specified.

The people in the office are not professional. Each time I spoke with my landscape architect it was like starting all over again at the begininng. Brent was inattentive to my wants and got the color wrong on my curbing. I spent over $8,000 on landscaping. I had a plant die over winter but it was out of warranty so no replacement for me.

Horrible customer service, never answer the phone or call back, and never show up as promise. Ive been waiting over a month for a simple core aeration and its not done. After finally getting a hold of someone on the phone I was promised two days straight it would be done next day and wasnt. Ill take my money to another company that values me as a customer!

After working in my backyard for half hour, I walk around front to see a keep off - chemical applied sign near my mailbox from JT Lawn. It was then that I noticed huge truck tracks all over the yard. I had no idea this had been done. I was home all day and they didnt call or knock on the door. We asked for an estimate and told them we couldnt do it until the yard toys were all cleared away. Now not only did I apparently work in a yard with freshly applied chemicals for half hour, but what ever they did is going to be all spotty since they drove their truck around the kiddie pool, trampoline, play house, wagon, baby lawnmower, piles of rakes leaves, yard chair, remnants of a log pile we were splitting. Who does a chem app when the yard is cluttered with stuff? I dont even want to know what this is going to eventually look like. #tresspassing #unauthorized chemical application #lawsuit #idiots

Absolutely terrible. Ive never had an experience like this in my life. Signed up online for the 4 application service. I didnt hear anything for a week so I called and talked with a guy who said a tech had gone to my house and looked around without informing me first which I never complained about and that they would get back to me the next day with a estimate. Its been almost 3 weeks since, still no call, email, or letter. You would think they would want my business? They have many clients in my neighborhood already. Will NEVER give my money to these people. I have Valley Green now and WOW what a difference, great customer service and got back to me right away.

First, they sprayed our lawn without authorization. Then they said it and the next service would be free. Then they sent us a bill for the first round. While on the phone about the billing, Chris ripped my wife for writing a bad review - about how they sprayed our yard going around every item in their way resulting in a splotchy lawn (done only in patches). Chris said You can thank your wife for the bad review.I thought we had this all worked out. Thanks for throwing us under the bus. Obviously this wasnt worked out as we were billed anyway. These people cant even communicate with each other. And there is definitely a lack of communication with customers. My wife would have amended the review after the second spraying if it had worked out. (We both agreed there is no way we are going through with the additional application as we dont want these people anywhere near our house.) But now our opinion of this place is even lower than before. I would urge anyone to look for a different service. And, Chris, if you dont want a bad review, then dont do bad service.

Worst Company I have ever had to deal with. They will over charge you, then will NEVER return phone calls and there quality of work is just as bad.

They do not stand behind the work that they do if it is past a month. Do they know what kind of grass seed to use for a sloped yard. The answer is no. Should only use seed with a lot of rye in it. Very rude people.

They are doing a very poor job of lawn mowing at Stonehurst Condos in south Fargo!

Set up an appointment with them if you don’t mind them not answering their messages or showing up when they say they are. NEVER again!!! After 3 weeks of being told we’re “on the schedule” we have not seen or heard from them. The poorest customer service!!!!!
