Over the years I’ve regularly gone to the eye doctor. I’ve never needed glasses (so they said)Until high school where I came to this place and they actually made me see !! It’s crazy to say that I can actually see things now. So, amazing staff & Dr. that knows what they are doing. Yes it’s a little bit more pricey than other places BUT you get what you pay for !!! 10/10 would recommend this place anytime to anyone.

Amazing Dr and Office staff. When you first walk in, everyone is super nice and welcoming. The paperwork can be done ahead of the time and sent back... so all you need to do is show up. The exam very thorough, but the Dr talks you through each step in non technical terms. No upselling, just a great eye health evaluation.

Dr. Tedder is great! My whole family sees her. She’s so patient with my kids it’s amazing.

Perfect eye doctor for young kids. My 6-year old son adores Dr. Tedder and her staff because they are so friendly and patient. This is of course great, but as a parent I really appreciate the attention to detail and outstanding medical advice our whole family has received over our 5 years as patients. Five stars!

Use to go here, but the last time I was there I had a problem with my glasses, I was told there was nothing wrong and got kicked out the door, not even a year and the film is peeling off on one of the lenses. I called to ask about it 3 times and was told repeatedly they would call me back, never did get a call back, ran into the doctor later in Ralphs and she freaked out, not sure why at this point I dont even care

Had reservations upon arrival as the office is in a shopping center. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and they in no way tried to sell me frames. They were very helpful in providing pricing, options, and fashion opinion. Dr. Lee was very efficient, and explained every step performed and also the result of each step. She made suggestions regarding eye drops and the best ones to use for eye health. Good visit.

Came here about three years ago for glasses. had to return 4 times because they couldnt get it right. I just noticed somehow they remove my negative review. So I reposted.

I find that every time I walk in, appointment or not, everyone is incredibly attentive and helpful in assisting me with whatever I need. They are always willing to adjust my glasses and are extremely knowledgeable, understanding and patient during examinations, willing to explain everything and anything, and bear with me every time I pull away from the glaucoma test machine, right before it blows in my eye, even though it takes me like ten times to get up the nerve. They are simply spectacular.

The staff is nice, but dont let that fool you. The staff will try to up-sell you on their already overpriced merchandise. They sold me a simple pair glasses for $700 (before insurance coverage), though Im willing to eat some of the blame for not checking the price before it was too late. Then when I researched that their contact lenses are also a rip off (i.e. less bang for your insurance coverage), I decided to go elsewhere, but it took 3 weeks for them to email me my prescription! At first I received nothing for a few days, then after calling back, one lady sent me the wrong documents, then after calling back a few more times, another lady said their email wasnt working. Go figure...

Let me be clear. I LOVE THESE GUYS (Ladies). Kimberly Tedder and everyone at Advanced Family Vision wants you happy. The equipment is top notch and the people are always nice and professional. I know they take notes so when you show up they have a record of your last visit but with that said, Kim Tedder brings up conversations she had with me years earlier as if we were having on going conversations. What I am saying is they make me feel like I am their only patient and that make me feel good. I know Moorpark is still considered a small town but these people make you feel like CHEERS BAR where everyone knows your name and you always have a place to go. May sound corny but I am that happy with their service. You will be just as happy - I am sure of it.

The best experience I have ever had visiting any doctor. Dr. Tedder is knowledgeable, patient and has a great staff.

They were friendly and seemed like a great place to go...i have been there once before and spent over $500 on a couple of pair of glasses and was happy with this office. I went back this past saturday9/12/15 and wanted to get a new prescription ... well when i mentioned that i just wanted the prescription to order some eyeglasses online...they tried to talk me out of it..but they did give me the prescription...anyways when i got home a ordered a pair of sunglassed and some readers for a lot less then i was charged at the office....i was told that i needed a dist and near PD measurement..it wasant on the prescription..so I called and they told me it would cost $15 to give me that info...i talked to 5 other offices and all told me that the measurement should of been part of my prescription..and that it should of been included for free!!!!!! i will NOT use this office anymore...so much for their customer service....it SUCKS!!!!!

The doctor is great and they are always helpful and super friendly.
