I was recommended to California Upholstery by our interior designer. We had a sofa that we wanted to keep but didn’t go with the new decor in our home. Our designer suggested having it reupholstered and so we contacted this company to do the job. They were very pleasant and professional. They were also super courteous and went over all of our options with us. When we got the sofa back it was just beautiful. The fabric looks so great with our new decor. I’m sure that if we ever need anything else reupholstered we will do it with this company.

The craftsmanship from California Upholstery is truly incredible. They have a great selection of fabrics and will work with you to make sure that they give you exactly what you want. They have done several pieces for me now and I am always happy with the work. The most recent project they did for me a was a set of vintage dining room chairs. They made them look brand new. As a surprise for my mother in law we wanted to have a chair that belonged to her mother reupholstered. We were on a bit of a time crunch because we needed the chair finished by her birthday. I bought a beautiful vintage fainting couch that I was absolutely in love with. The only problem with it was that the fabric was damaged. I brought it to California Upholstery to see what they could do with it. Not only did they reassure me that they could make it beautiful but they were able to do it very quickly. The couch is exactly what I wanted and I have gotten nothing but compliments on it. If you need a old piece restored you should bring it to California Upholstery.

The quality of work I received from California Upholstery is just amazing. I had a badly damaged chair that really needed to be redone. The fabric was in terrible shape but California Upholstery was able to bring it back to life. I couldn’t believe what an amazing transformation it was. They also manage to get everything done in a very timely manner. I don’t. Think I have a single complaint about them. I highly recommend coming to them for any upholstery services you might need.

I was just there and felt unsafe...the men charge were not wearing masks and they were very rude to the women (they were masked) working there. Great fabric selection but I will shop elsewhere.

I called this place and its NOT a real business, it doesnt exist here in Simi Valley. They are shady California Upholstery out in Moorpark. Apparently the owner is such a bad business man he uses fake businesses like this one, A first impressions, Simi Valley Upholstery, Simi Auto Upholstery, and California Upholstery. The master mind behind all the lies is a guy named Scott and there are multiple customers who are and have sued him in the past. All the 5 star reviews below are fake and Google cant tell the difference. If you pay attention this address is a home address NOT a business. Stay away from this guy and his upholstery shop in Moorpark.1/2/2020 Update- Google still has this fake business up on Google maps.

This place doesnt exist here in Simi Valley, the address is for a location in Moorpark. They will tell you that their designer lives here in Simi Valley. All the reviews below are fake Google accounts. The owner is a flat out liar and will lie about everything. The 1st installers showed up to my house to install some drapes without a ladder and I had to let them borrow mine. They drilled holes in my freshly painted walls to only damage them. They were off center and un even. I called to complain and they took a month to send out the 2nd installer and again NO ladder. He will respond by saying Im not a real customer and that Im not in his system as one. I will never do business with this company again. The owner is extremely rude and goes on the defensive and blames his installers. After speaking to several members of the Simi Valley forum there are dozens of similar stories. Stay away and dont go there.
