First time here today and I am so glad we tried this place! It is a hole in the wall so to speak, but the food is very, very good. Very authentic. The service is excellent! Everyone that was serving food on the floor checked on us. Very nice people too. It was busy, but so worth it. It’s also a market, and meat market. It’s a little pricey but it is worth it. Gotta check this place out if you like authentic Guatemalian (Mexican) food. I highly recommend this place!! Can’t wait to go backAnother great meal.
I’m a vegetarian and was not expecting such an amazing experience!We ordered veggies nachos and these were the best nachos I have ever had in my 18 years of being in this country.3 of us ended up finishing one plate of nachos EACH with 3 drinks each too❤️❤️❤️
Ordered a torta, a couple of tamales, and chicken in Pepian sauce. EVERYTHING was rich, delicious, and just perfect. I’d give this place 6 stars if I could!
Has what I want and good quality. They bring the goods. They understand there are other ethnicities out there. Great good. Only lacking the ability to communicate effectively but they are very accommodating.
Just went there today for the first time. I’m from Charlotte and just moved here. Was looking for a good local spot. I got the beef stew and it was amazing. So full of flavor. Thanks for satisfying this pregnant ladies cravings. I had no idea how to pronounce anything so I’m sure I sounded awkward lol. But the cashier was very nice to me. I can’t wait to come back and keep trying different dishes. Everything on the menu looked delicious.
Um amazing. Never had guatemalan....so flavourful, even my kids were stuffing their faces. Large filling portions 👌👌 Delicious!

Just went for the carneceria part and was beyond happy with all the meat quality and the nice employees/owner. The food smelled delicious so need to go back for that but would come back I enjoyed the environment.

This place is awesome! Best fresh authentic food. Best Ive tried in Morganton thus far and Ive been to them all even ones that are now closed. They actually sell fresh meats there too if youre interested in making your own. Super friendly and catering. I will definitely return. Thanks for such awesome service....hate I waited so long to try. A hidden gem!

The outside of the building is run down, but the people are terrific and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the torta cubana.

Great food and great customer service. The owner is kind and treated us very well. The best items on the menu for me are Costilla de Res, Pollo Dorado, and Pepian de Pollo.

I love to check out little restaurants like this. They are like little hidden gems amongst average stones. This one in particular is one I will definitely be coming back to. The food was delicious and very affordable. The description said small plates but neither my fajita nachos nor my wifes burrito was small. Two people could easily share a plate. The tacos de lengua were fantastic and seasoned perfectly. If your looking for great tasting Guatemalan food, definitely give this place a try. Im sure you wont regret it.

This place is terrible for nothing I recommend it the reheated food from another day and the broth mixed with water and then we ordered a chicken and rancid then one I complained to the owner and still that he serves badly the brave customer and the place shuco the truth, terrible or crazy that he never returned to eat there I do not recommend it for anything malicious
