This place is the best! All of the wood and iron pieces in the store are absolutely beautiful. They also have beautiful pottery and accessories.We had a coffee table that we loved the base but didnt like the top and Oak Hill Iron & Wood custom made us a top for on the table. They took great care to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and it turned out beautifully. The customer service is excellent. The attached picture is of the custom made table top and even includes the beautiful pottery vase I bought in their showroom to go with it. I very highly recommend this store. Just browsing in the showroom at all their unique designs is a treat.

When we visited their store, they helped us narrow down our preferences and actually sketched out a custom live edge slab bar table for behind our sofa. They brought our vision to life, and within a few weeks we had the table we had envisioned. Their craftsmanship is incredible, from the beautifully finished wood to the custom hand-forged iron legs.We visited this NC store all the way from NJ, and we will definitely make the trip down there again to design and purchase additional pieces in the future.

The oak leaf door knocker is perfect in our Raleigh home (known as the “City of Oaks”). Solidly built, I love having this eclectic piece of art in our doorway. The hand-forged steel feels solid in one’s hand while the leaf design brings the natural world to our doorstep. I am very happy with my purchase.

Beauty and function collide! I am OBSESSED with our Poplar Kitchen Island with an iron base and wheels. I want to serve everything on it and do, and find I keep inviting people over so I can show it off. Solidly built and absolutely stunning. This thing will last forever and be an heirloom for our kids and kids’ kids. Until then, it’s cocktails and cheese o’clock every day or my prep table when I don’t wanna miss out on the living room action.

We purchased the 24” round based angel to “christen” our new garden. She is tastefully elegant and aftful. You can tell by the feel of her that she is meant to be in the outdoors. After rain, wind, snow, and sun, she is still strong and lovely. These angels are unique but not cheesy. Oak Hill is clearly doing intentional work!

I purchased 4 three-legged barstools for my back-porch bar and am very happy with them. They are solidly built, comfortable, and one-of-a-kind. Friends are always commenting on how eclectic they are. I love having something that is uniquely beautiful and useful, as well as from a locally owned and operated company for over 25 years. These guys know their stuff and it shows.

We burn wood as our primary source of heat 6 months out of the year in Boone, NC. My husband is a craftsman himself, and a stickler for fine tools. I purchased the One-of-a-Kind Fire Poker #5 for him for a Christmas gift last year and he constantly comments on how much nicer it is than the mass-produced ones we used before from Lowes or other hardware stores. This one has a solid feel in your hands, no weird odors or fragile parts, and is actually enjoyable to use. It is a worthy investment to have something that is both beautiful and well-made when it is something you have to use every day for half of the year. I plan to purchase the camp out fork for our summer bonfires.

The charcuterie board is perfect! It is easy to store on our hanging rack, but beautiful and functional enough we just use it every day. Great for serving the kids (or grownups) snack platters.

The barn door from Oak Hill Iron + Wood is just what our home needed to complete renovations. The team was easy to work with and clearly thoughtful in every aspect of the project. It ties our entry-way-to-dining-room together just how I had envisioned. Worth every penny.
