My partner and I have a repair shop a mile away and have gone to dinsmores since we had our first cars (18 years ago) . Best tire prices and best business owner in the area. Tire prices and selection are the absolute best. Dont shop online or anywhere else for tires, just call rich and save yourself a lot of time.

I went in there to get a tire patch plug because one of my tires had a hole I ran over a nail or something. The manager was running the counter and I asked if they did patch plugs for tires and he said they did however when I got my tire back it was just a standard plug that I could have done at my house for way cheaper. They use inferior products and charge for premium products. I worked in a tire shop for years and never seen so much inferior work done so consumers beware of what youre buying there. If you dont have to shop there I would not. Do your research and shop at a more professional place.

Came for a quick front tire change before work. BOY was it quick! As soon as I parked they got the tires off and mounted and balanced them within barely 20 minutes. And they put my caps back on, which some places forget to do. 10/10 just try to bring cash if you go!

They replaced my front and rear brake pads and rotors, told me they would be putting on heavier duty pads because I frequently pull a trailer. The pads have sqeeked every time I brake since then. I brought my truck back to be looked at and the front office manager sprayed something on my rotors (god knows what) and sent me on my way. The squeeking stopped for about a day and has continued every day for the past 5 months. There has also been excess brake dust on my rims which is a sign of cheap pads. Now I am forced to replace my pads and rotors again because the rotors are warped. Would not recommend this shop to anyone.

I am not from around here and got a flat tire. Everyone was closed and I didn’t want to drive an hour and a half on a donut. These guys opened there doors after hours and fixed my tire. Such a great experience.

Awesome place. I called for a specific tire and he actually keeps them in stock. It took less time for the young man to change all 4 of my tires than to have my oil changed. As well as same day service. Theyre so fast and good at what they do youre not waiting long. Ill surely be a returning customer.

This shop is hit or miss lately. I’ve taken my car here several times and it was done in a timely fashion and good work. More recently, I’ve brought cars in and work has barely been done or seems like feet were dragging on even looking at it. Came in for oil change, tire rotation, and coolant leak and my car just sat for four business days without moving.

Called in the middle of the day to get an appointment for a tire patched or replaced. Was pleasantly surprised that I could just come in without an appointment. I was in and out with a patch in 10-15 minutes. Everyone was so nice!

Did a terrible job installing 2 tires without balancing them. Went back to check they took it lightly and said to come back later as they were busy. Also, air pressure was 41 (should be 33). Not happy with the service and the customer service either.

In the last few months I have had Dinsmore Tire & Auto work on all three of my vehicles: 2011 CRV, 2004 Pilot and a 1997 Odyssey. They had various issues including a radiator replacement, new brakes, rotors, etc. In all three cases I received exceptionally professional, prompt, friendly care, and very fair pricing. Because I received excellent treatment all three times, it tells me there is a program in place, from the top down, to make certain customers are well taken care of. Based upon my experience, I have decided to move all of my auto business to Dinsmore going forward.

Have always got my tires here. Also depend on them for any work I’m incapable of doing myself and have always been happy. Made the mistake of waiting too long until the snow was flying one year and had to get tires elsewhere because they didn’t have my size in stock and I wasn’t making it in the snow without new tires..that was a terrible mistake. The other business was slow, and over priced, I’ll be sure to always get my tires through Dinsmore! Honest, great prices, fast turn around. Had an issue with a vehicle they were unable to solve (it’s an Audi, and it was something I had made a mistake on and messed up). He told me when I came in, we will diagnose and do our best but it may need to go to an Audi dealer. After spending several hours on it they had no luck and I did in turn end up taking it to the dealership. Was thankful they had been honest up front as I was then anticipating the trip to the dealership. Even with the knowledge beforehand of the possibility they wouldn’t be able to fix the issue, Rich only charged me for part of his guys time since they were unable to fix the problem. Very appreciative of all the work they’ve done for me, and the excellent service they’ve provided! They will continue to get my business and recommendations.

I do not recommend this mechanic shop for any major repair jobs in your vehicle. Their business seems to be mainly geared towards tire sales & installs. I went in to get an oil change and reported that my brakes should be checked as they probably needed repairs. They only performed the oil change (very fast to their credit) and said my brakes looked OK. The next week, I then took my car to a different repair shop, sure enough they noticed that my brakes were indeed bad and had to be replaced and so my original hunch was correct all along.Also, on a side note, I did get some “weird vibes” while at Dinsmore. I noticed that they did not bother collecting my name, phone number details etc. to enter into their system and so I guess they were not interested in my future business. This is why I went back to my previous mechanic even though it takes forever to get appointments there. Over here, they did not seem to be that busy - in terms of auto repair business. They seem better suited for tire/wheels sales as is indicated in their business name.UPDATE: Responding to owners comment:- As noted in my original review, I took my car to a competent mechanic a week after it was in your shop.

Just got all my brake pads and rotors replaced and they did a great job. They even flushed the brake fluid with price included. Rich has been very patient and responsive over the phone and in person answering any questions. Overall, I trust them and would definitely go back for any future auto repair. Highly recommend!

When I first moved to Morgantown I had new tires and breaks put on my car and Dinsmoore did a great job on that! But when I came back About a month ago.. they put a steering pump on my car and drove off the lot knowing that it was a bad pump cause it was hard to steer and made horrible noises. So I came back and told them that I was not happy with the work and that the car is not working how it should! They said the air needed to work out of it, drive it for a week and nothing! Took it to shorty Anderson’s and they said it was a bad pump and full of gunk!! They replaced it and the car drove PERFECT. Called dinsmoore for a refund and they did not want to deal with me said they had nothing they could do.. basically paid $1,000 for a new pump. Sad.

I just came across the information I wrote on a piece of paper intending to write a wonderful review two years ago when I sought out Dinsmores assistance. I showed up when they opened on a Saturday morning when I came into town for the Miss WV pageant. They were able to squeeze me in and check out what I thought was a big problem. It happened to be a simple repair. I appreciated their accurate diagnostics, their honesty, and the overall service was wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend them for any automotive needs.

Poor customer service

Im very knowledgeable about cars. I was sold half brakes. Which are used brakes. And told my one and only catalytic converter was going out. I have two. It wasnt the problem at all though. They just read the codes and dont go further. However it is quick tire service that is nice.

The best place to get tire service. I was greeted immediately with very nice staff and had my truck tires being replaced before I even sat down. Good prices and great atmosphere. Even if I didn’t live in Morgantown I would drive here to have my truck serviced.

It seems to me that a lot of reviews are given when a person has a bad experience,and not often enough are they given when service is actually good.I contacted Dinsmore Tire to inquire about purchasing a used rim for my car.The nice lady answering said they couldnt sell less than a full set even if they did have them in stock but she was nice enough to point me in a few directions to get the help I was looking for.The first recommendation she gave was able to help me out and since they were nice enough to try and help I figured Id take a chance and give them my business for helping me out in any way possible.Where I work at we also believe in that same philosophy,that if you cant help a customer directly at least try to offer other assistance.Needless to say I was extremely pleased with the overall experience.When I called back to see how far they were backed up with customers they offered to get me right in.Not only did I have them re-mount my tire I also had them repair a flat,do a complete rotation and also got an oil change.From the time I got there I waited approx. 35-45 min which wasnt bad in my opinion for everything that was done.I was very glad to give them my business and will most definitely consider it in the future also.Thank you Dinsmore Tire :)

I spent 1000 $ to have my car fixed and it ran for a month. Its been sitting at my house ever since. They supposively put alternator, new battery, fixed the serpentine belt an pulley, and the heating system. Now my car wont start and when you run the heat it starts smoking like its going to catch on fire. Ill never take my car back there again.

Dinsmore provides quick, efficient, friendly service.I had arrived at Monro Auto down the road at 7:30 a.m., the Monro opening time (listed online and on their door). The Monro people arrived at 7:51 and ignored the line at the door.So I went to Dinsmore instead. They open at 8, but took me in as soon as I arrived at 7:55. I was out the door by 8:15 after an oil change and tire rotation.Dinsmore has my business for any of the services they provide.

Don’t let the exterior fool you. This shop has some of the best guys for the job. They have a great selection of tires and can get you great pricing if you know what to look for. Service is fast and reasonably priced, and the inside waiting room is updated and very modern and cool.

Most recently, I had my truck towed to another repair shop that barely looked at it and still charged me a $90 diagnostic fee and couldnt even fix it. I needed a last-minute battery swap (no appointment and they were closing soon). They had me in and out in a matter of 15 minutes. Everyone was very friendly, the waiting area was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed a complementary home-made nitro cold brew. I will definitely go back for all of my maintenance and repair needs.

Great people and excellent service. Went there to get my tires changed on my Avalanche and they can offer low tire prices because they buy in bulk so I paid $100 less total than I would have anywhere else for new tires! Every time me and my girlfriend have gone there they have gotten us in right away. Good family owned shop, much better and faster service than I’ve gotten at the big guys.

I was trying to get a pre-purchase inspection done and called these guys up. I told them it would be a pre-inspection and that I wouldnt be getting any repairs done there. I asked how much it would be and the guy said dont worry about it, they dont charge for inspections. I offered again to pay for their time and he refused. I think that says a lot. I live in Memphis and am tempted to bring my car to West Virginia to have any work done on it.

I stopped in for an oil change since I am too far away from home to do it myself. Cool place, neat display of rims in the waiting area and the people were friendly. However, after driving home I noticed my oil had been leaking. I assume it was probably the filter screwed on incorrectly. Stuff happens. I call and explain the situation and their reply was they wouldnt do that. (They did ask me to come the next day so they could look at it)I understand defending your employees, but the lack of responsibility taken by this person was unsettling to say the least. If they can mess up and not take ownership of a simple oil change, should you trust them with something larger?I will update this at a later time. Only one person spoke with me. Maybe the others will be more understanding.

I was on my way to take a final exam when I realized I had a flat! I stopped by and told the guys I had a final in half an hour, and asked if there was anything they could do. They quickly (as in less than 3 minutes) popped on my spare and sent me on my way. Very friendly and very helpful!

These guys are great. I travel for a living and had a bent rim. Tire Barn told me I was going to have to pay for a brand new rim which would cost me about $160. These guys fixed it for $40. They will not bullshit you. Dont look anywhere else. Go here, even if its not the closest tire shop.

So I have been going to this shop for years. Every time I need a repair or a new tire, I would go there. Well today I woke up to a flat tire and decided to get it fixed. They close at 1pm on Saturday. I showed up at 12:50 and asked for them to fix my tire and showed my sympathy for showing up right before they were to close. They were more than happy to swipe one more card before closing. However when they fixed my tire, they proceeded to hand me my fixed tire. They refused to put my tire back on my car because they were about to close. After arguing that he was not going to put the tire on it took them less than 1 minute to put the tire on after debate. So after all the loyalty I showed by continuing to come to this shop, I couldnt get a simple job done without hassle.

Looking for honest service? DO NOT GO HERE!I went to Dinsmore to get my wheel replaced and they scratched my brand new rim. Denied doing so. Later found out that they broke my valve stem in half and rigged a cap on the end of it to HIDE their mistake! I found this out the hard way when I lost pressure in my tire and was stranded on the side of the road. The tire valve stem is attached to my pressure monitoring system (expensive) but they would not cover the cost to fix it. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, AVOID at all costs! I agree that these positive reviews on here are by the employees. Finding an honest repair shop is difficult, your vehicle is one of the largest investments you will make, good luck!

I got 4 used tires from there for super cheap and they put them on for me super fast. The tires were good for a while and it was well worth it. Im going back tomorrow because they are the best.

I needed a tire valve replaced and they did it on the spot in about 15 minutes. Carl also double checked the tire I had just to make sure there wasnt another leak.

Got me in immediately for a tire repair (dealer service garage needed an appointment for a flat, couldnt even LOOK at it until Monday... after keeping me on hold for 15 minutes for the privilege of finding that out), fast and efficient mechanic who fixed everything well and for much less money than I was expecting to pay. I actually spent longer on hold with the other guys than it took for this place to fix it; would definitely recommend these guys for tire repair

I normally go there alot since my alignment was messed up and buy used tires regularly...but this time I went there to get my tire plugged up because it had a REALLY slow leak...They charged me $28 to do that...what a rip off considering they charge you $20 for a tire and $40 for a tire and mount...for all that, I couldve either put $12 with the $28 and bought another good used tire or just went to a nearby gas station and put air in my tire for $1 and then go and buy fix a flat for a few more dollars to seal up a small leak that existed. Dont ever get your tire plugged up there, youre better off buying a plug kit or fix a flat until you can afford to buy either a used tire or a new one. Nothing against the employees there who do the work because those guys are awesome...But they SERIOUSLY need to do something about that price because its ridiculous to pay more for a plug than the actual tire

I have a set of high dollar CCW Classic 3 piece wheels that I took to them to be mounted on their true touchless mounting machine. Not a scratch, blemish or mark left on my wheels.
