Dr. Mancini and her staff always take such good care of me. Very professional, thoughtful, and pleasant. They explain everything they are doing and have efficient processes. They offer options and really listen. Highly recommend.

The best eye care experience Ive ever had. Thorough exam, with true knowledge and caring about my eye health. Silvia was a particular joy to work with. Its very obvious that she cares about customers. Silvia helped me pick a great pair of glasses, which is normally the most troubling part of it for me. She knows her craft well, and asked all the right questions and made sure that I was happy and having fun the entire time. Ive never been happier with an eye care appointment. Im already planning my wifes next set of glasses with Morgantown Eye Associates.

I got an eye infection early on in covid shutdown. So I set up a zoom appt for the next day. I had a few drops in a prescription given from a previous eye infection that I used to ease the discomfort, but it really only lasted until the appt the next day. The next day I called at my appointed time. I was told I would get a call back. It didnt come until a couple hours later. I told the doctor what was going on. She prescribed the same medication I was using as it was working. I called the pharmacy all that evening & all the next day to see if my script had been filled. Eventually I learned a script was never sent in. I called MEA & they said the doctor thought my old script would be enough. Just a misunderstanding I thought. I was in pain & I wasnt getting a callback. I was calling a few times a day from pharmacy to doctor back & forth. Each time I called about my script I asked for a pair of trial contacts to get me to the in office appointment which was a couple months away due to covid restrictions. This went ignored for a while also. Eventually I got my script & my eye healed. I still was needing contacts as my glasses were old & inaccurate. I have zoom meetings everyday I need accurate vision. At this point I realized the front staff wasnt interested in helping and I got the impression that they were toying with me for fun. So, I went into the office. When I got up to the glass door I saw the two secretaries tossing something & goofing off- clearly they had time on there hands. When i told them who i was & why i was there they got completely quiet & awkward. The girl went in the back came back out a few minutes later went in the drawer and pulled out a trial pair of lenses for me. Neither of them said so much a greeting.My appt finally arrived. After I was called in one of the secretaries confirmed that my copay was $49 dollars. I agreed as that was how much it was the last time (2019). At that appt the doctor switched me from night& days, which Ive been wearing for 27 years, to the in house generic brand. I thought nothing of it. I assumed I wouldnt be switched if it wasnt comparable to what Ive been wearing. This past exam (2021) I was told that the house brand contacts did irreversible damage to my eyes & I was switched back to night&days. I then was introduced to a woman who seemed to be there specifically for glasses sales. I was offered budget glasses which were priced at $230.00 + & looked like they came from the dollar store. I declined, obviouslyI went to checkout & was charged $139.00! I was told the contact exam price wasnt included in the initial agreement copay of $49 which was confirmed upon entry. I had the same procedures as my 2019 appt but billed almost 3 times as much!!They sent me home with my prescriptions in a little folde. When I went to buy the contacts at Walmart I realized they hadnt put my contact prescription in the packet. Just glasses so I sent MEA an email expecting that they would just email my script...easy peasy right? Nope. I had specifically mentioned my not wanting to pick it up in person due to covid. No response so I called, no answer. I called again the guy picked up and said he would send it to me. Then I recieved a message informing me that it would be in the mail the next day. Again I said dont want to come out just email it. He said HIPAA laws prohibited him from sending scripts via email. By this time Im so done with these games I decided to just go in even though a simple google search tells me a prescription sent via email isnts HIPAA violation if permission is given & its safe to do so. It seems the staff was going out of there way to make my life harder for no apparent reason on my end. Im a very nice person. I was going to let it go but the uncaring and disrespectful manner in which I was treated, the air of pretentiousness, the deceptive price and ridiculously expensive cheap glasses is too much to ignore. Other people should know what they may have to indure by choosing this establishment.

Dr. Mancini is always professional, knowledgeable, and friendly; and its always a joy to see her. The office is equipped with the latest technology that eliminates the need for dilation and that awful puff of air. Highly recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. Mancini is one of the best doctors Ive encountered; she cares and does a great job talking to you and being proactive about your eye health, comfort, and needs.I wont dock their service; but dont buy your glasses there. My pair cost $500.50 from there, and I couldve gotten the exact same pair online for ~$250. They refused to price match, even the frames.All in all -- great, go to Dr. Mancini. Just dont buy your glasses there (contacts yes).Update: adding in specific price since they felt the need to post it on Google to debate. You could get them for 1/2 the price, not 1/3 - my mistake. Also, I did the research and the lens coatings, fittings could be very similar, as you are required to provide the prescription the same as prescribed by Dr. Mancini, by law. Still 5 stars for the Doctor care you get. Still shop around for frames.

Ive been wearing glasses for 55+ years, which means Ive had nearly 60 exams. Erica Mancini is the best. Thorough, great technology, and very professional. She helped me figure out an issue with my phone that greatly reduced eyestrain. My highest recommendation.

Dr. Stout has been my optometrist since 1980. Because of my particular eye issues, I have seen other doctors from time to time over the years. Dr. Stout is by far my first choice. I appreciate that he is always so thorough and patient. He always takes time to explain things and answer all my questions. I believe he is a very good doctor, but he’s not afraid to say that he needs to look further into something if necessary.People are not perfect. So of course there have been a few minor glitches over the years, such as glasses being delayed. However, they always make things right. As with any business, you have new staff members now and then, technology changes, etc. I can confidently say that problems will be addressed and corrected in a timely and satisfactory way.Kindness and politeness work both ways and I have only experienced excellent customer service here.

Recently moved here a few years ago and I was so impressed with Dr Stout and the staff at Morgantown Eye Associates. Everyone was extremely helpful and I was extremely satisfied and impressed with the new technology. The Optician made it so easy she personally picked out frames that would work best for my features and made sure I received what Dr Stout prescribed. I cant thank you all enough you truly changed my life with better sight. Go here for all eye care needs they truly are the BEST in Morgantown.

This is the BEST eye doctor I have ever been to.They took care of me immediately. I called at 8:30 am and told them that I had a piece of metal in my eye from work and they told me to come in at 9:10am. Could not believe they took me in so soon . Got there and was treated within a few minutes. Erica Mancini took care of me and was so nice to me and so gentle. I would recommend this place to anybody who likes prompt and great service. Been a patient here for years... New staff has a very negative attitude is abundantly rude for no apparent reason. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but it certainly wasnt due to me. I would not recommend this place at all anymore and I will be in search of a new optometrist myself.

Wonderful people and so caring. I had an eye emergency last Friday and even though they were not seeing patients that day they got me in within a half hour of calling and took care of my eye. They have been wonderful even called me just to see how I was feeling!!! I will only go here and I highly recommend Morgantown eye associates to everyone

Dr Mancini was very cheery and thorough. The office is very nice and organized. The staff was pleasant. I have a freckle in my eye, the picture of my eye they took showed it clearly and allowed for examination of it. The picture was taken with a machine as an alternative to dilatation. The picture was displayed on a monitor in the exam room and explained to me. The exam cost is reasonable and the service excellent.

I have been going to Morgantown Eye Associates since I moved to the area 13 years ago. Dr. Mancini has been great from my first visit; I highly recommend her. Today I worked with a new optician, AJ. He is extremely knowledgeable, exceptionally helpful and accommodating and took great care of me as Dr. Mancini promised he would. I have requested that my chart be annotated to see him hereafter.

I have had corrective lenses for approximately 15 years and been to a few optometrists. Choosing Morgantown Eye Associates was a great decision.After arriving as a new patient, about a year ago, several tests were completed which were very thorough opposed to past visits.The staff has always been very helpful, professional and friendly. Recently I went through some insurance changes which were very well explained by the staff.My glasses broke, with my busy schedule I had to “pop” in. They were very understanding. I literally was in and out in 15 minutes. They were very understanding and were quick to get me out the door, so I made it to work on time.Today I had another nice visit, I’m very anxious to get my new contacts Dr. Owen helped me decide what would be best.Without the staff being aware of my insurance coverage I would have had an exam and contacts before I was covered.I am always happy coming and going and am very happy I have found a place that cares.

Had symptoms of dry eye and my current optometrist did not test me for the condition. I had a thorough exam at Morgantown Eye Associates and was given a diagnosis of dry eye. The doctor explained the treatment recommended for me clearly. It was an easy and wonderful experience. Would highly recommend!

My son saw Dr Wratchford for his very first eye appt. She was amazing with him. Super patient, explained everything and just fantastic with kids. I was amazed and very pleased.

What an excellent experience. I knew my vision was awful before my visit to this office but I didn’t realize how bad. When I walked in the door I was greeted by a friendly staff that took care of me right away. The exam process was very thorough and the doctor did a great job explaining everything about the exam. I purchased a pair of nice glasses at a fair price and had no issues with the billing of my insurance. Everything went smoothly with my visit to Morgantown Eye Associates and I know that just doesn’t just happen by chance.

Best place to take your kids ! I took my daughter to the Morgantown Mall and they didnt check her eyes like this place does and they was great with her unlike the eye doctor at the mall !!

Every time I visit Morgantown Eye Associates I enjoy it more and more. I am always greeted promptly, and have never had to wait long to be seen by the staff and the doctor. Dr. Wratchford is always very attentive and easy to talk to, and will answer any questions you may have. They also have a great selection of frames, as well as being very helpful in teaching me how to insert/remove my first pair of contacts and making sure I felt comfortable with them. I recommend this practice to everyone, you will not be disappointed!

The doctors are great, but the way they conduct their business is absolutely terrible. The second time I went there they never sent me a bill or called me and told me I owed them any money until a collection agency called me and they tried to ruin my credit score. I figured I would give them one more chance since they are the only eye doctor that takes my insurance in Morgantown and I didnt want to drive back to Maryland to get my eyes checked as Im a college student but today I got a call from my father and he told me a collection agency sent him a bill after I specifically told them to send him the bill after my visit. They really need to get their business department together, I would never go back due to this.

I must say that I am satisfied with the service I received from the Morgantown Eye Associates. I went in for a contacts examination and the process was really quick and simple. Got the examination, wore a trial version of the contacts for a week, then went back a week later and was given a year supply of contacts the same day! My only minor complaint was that I was supposed to receive an additional 15 percent off my contacts (per my insurance), but they didnt include that whenever I paid. However, it wasnt too much of a big deal since I got a rebate. But overall, the staff were friendly and very helpful and I would recommend anyone to go to Morgantown Eye Associates for their eye care!

Watch your wallet! These people are dishonest and it goes right to the top.. Dr. Stout who runs the business. There is no customer focus. They will misrepresent, overcharge and then lie to your face, including Dr. Stout. It appears that they actually train the office and eye glasses staff to lie to customers. This is apparently why there appears to be a constant turnover. They have the latest and greatest equipment that you will pay for through unnecessary tests and overcharging. There are much better providers in Morgantown. I left Morgantown Eye Associates and could not be happier with my new provider.

Dr. Wratchford saw my son today and she was phenomenal!! He has autism, is verbal but has his ticks and issues.She explained everything to him and was super patient.She helped him choose the perfect pair of glasses for him and was able to explain the billing too!Thank you so much and I will be spreading the word!!

First I do want to say that I had a great experience with the Doctors. However that did not fix the fact that I had an awful experience when it came to actually getting my glasses. First I got an email stating my glasses were ready when in fact they werent and somehow my email was linked to another account. So I talked to Austin and was told that he could put in an order for my glasses as I needed a payment arrangement that I could pay it on the first. I was given a quote and set the money aside. The next month came and I told them that I would be in to pick up my glasses. I was then told that my glasses hadnt been made and that I needed to put half down in order for them to be made. At that point I was also told that the quote I was given was completely wrong and now I couldnt get what I needed because I didnt put that amount aside.I had even got an email stating that my glasses were again ready for pick up before calling when they were not. I let all of this go because I was told they were going to put a rush on the order as I paid for the glasses in full. They assured me that my glasses would be ready by Friday at the absolute latest. My glasses had broken the month before without having them this was very important. They were ready the following Monday. As I went in I was told to sit down try the glasses on and an optometrist would be with me shortly. Having a very active 2 year old I had to leave after 20 minutes of waiting. I also wanted to get to eye glasses prescription so I could order another pair in the future. That didnt happen. This is highly unacceptable considering everything. I previously wrote a review saying how happy I was with the service before dealing with any of this. I will be going back to change that review as well.

Dr. Mancini takes the time to thoroughly share and discuss examination results unlike other eye physicians in the Morgantown area. Everyone I encountered at the office is friendly, and the expansive selection of glasses is great! I have not regretted my decision to transfer to Morgantown Eye Associates.

My original eye doctor no longer worked there, he was nice & took his time. The last and I do mean LAST time going there, I was rushed thru the exam by female doctor with zero personality (she mightve been a automated robot they were trying out for all I know). She seemed in a rush to pick up her kids from daycare or something and even though I have one eye better than the other last prescription, she made both my eyes the same. And I mean the other one miraculously got better sight.. not both worse/equal sight. I have had occasional eyesight induced headaches and never felt the script was accurate after being rushed thru the exam. Switched eye care providers. And in a separate incident the attached eyeglass store does rip you off as other comments can attest to, although with complaining they did reimburse charges to make it right, overall poor experience, management & company. Thank goodness we dont live in democratic socialist utopia yet and have freedom of choice to take our business $$$ elsewhere! Buyer beware

Dr. Stout is a tremendous professional, highly knowledgeable who explains matters in an easy to understand but thorough manner. He uses the latest technologies to conduct a comprehensive exam and provides great comfort.I could not have greater confidence in a medical professional in any field than I have in trusting Dr. Stout with my all-important eye care. Further his staff conducting pre-exam screenings and post-exam follow up related to glasses (frames and lenses) and contacts are equally as professional, knowledgeable, helpful, patient and friendly. Most expensive eye doctor EVER!! And the order in which they did everything as far as the exam, the puff test and then pick out frames, I felt like I was in a pinball machine, but it seemed like they do it that way to catch you off guard.

I was present in the waiting room as what appeared to be a very difficult patient gave the young women grief for an insurance issue outside of their control. Even with such unpleasantness, the staff at MEA (particularly the young woman at the front desk, Kayla) never lost face. They were incredibly gracious and professional, even after the fact. Such excellent customer service is to be commended.

The staff was extremely friendly to me when I went to do my annual exams and testings. When I walk in I am always greeted with a smile. Jennifer did my actual exam both times and was very informative about exactly what each test required. I had many questions about the exam process and she was able to answer all the questions to my satisfaction. She was also patient with the air pressure exam which I hate and gave me an alternative option. The female doctor that gave me my results is great too. She talks to me like shes known me for years. I see people have reviews about the rude staff, but I always feel welcome.

This was the worst experience Ive ever had in 35 years of wearing glasses. They charged me over $500 for a mediocre pair of glasses and a routine eye exam. They broke my glasses and couldnt fix them. I had to go back several times to order new frames because they couldnt get the same ones that they broke.This required multiple return visits and I wasnt offered any kind of discount. I recently returned for an unrelated problem with my glasses and they had the nerve to charge me $25.00 dollars for being late to my appointment which was an honest mistake on my part. Go ANYWHERE else but here. One final word to the owner of this business. We live in the information age. Your shady business practices will catch up with you via bad reviews such as mine. The number of bad reviews and overall poor rating that you have bears witness to this fact.

My wife and myself have both been long term patients of Dr. Mancini and Dr. Stout. The staff has always been very nice and helpful and the eyewear collection is huge. There are plenty frames to choose from and the professionals have always done a great job with our eyewear selection. The service is excellent and very educational when it comes to understanding what you need and why. It might cost a little more but the quality is definitely worth it. They have been more then fair with every one of our purchases. Thank you for providing excellent care to me and my family it means a lot.

I was more than pleasantly surprised with my first visit! It was so comprehensive and thorough. I never had an eye exam taken as seriously as Morgantown Eye. Not just did I receive an exam for my vision, but also medically for dryness and oil duct infection - which I never knew I had, but I sure as heck have been miserable trying different eye drops, makeup, cleanser etc.desperately trying to get comfort daily. I was prescribed an antibiotic and drops to clear up the infection. Three days into the medication and WOW I feel so much better already. Thank you! Also, I work on the computer 8+ hours a day - I never knew that you blink way less than you should while staring at the screen - thus, dry eyes and lots of eye strain. I cant wait till my Blue Tech lenses come in! All in all, I recommend Morgantown Eye Assoc!

Went here 3 or 4 years ago for an eye exam. The exam was very thorough and and well-done, but when they billed me the bill wasnt the hundred something dollars I was quoted but had inflated to almost $600. It took months of complaints to various organizations to get them to refund me the difference. And now, every year, they schedule me for an exam and call me 2 days ahead of it and ask me if Im coming. Every year I tell them to quit doing this.You can get quality eye care here I think, but the billing is deceiving and they become a nuisance to you once you decide to go somewhere else. There are other places in the area that offer good service and arent as frustrating.

Most expensive place to get an eye exam and corrective wear in Morgantown. If you want to come out one-eyed by all means go to this establishment because they will literally charge you an eye. They always find ways to gauge your eye out by adding an extra cost for this and an extra fee for that. Eye exam and glasses $800bill. They are also masters at deception...Dr. says lets do this procedure it is completely covered by your insurance. I tell them I dont want procedure because I dont know if my insurance covers it. He says PEIA, we deal with them all the time they cover it. Two months later insurance is billing me $200 for because procedure is not covered.Wife goes there and the Dr. says the out of cost for this particular exam is $36 per eye. Wife goes to check out exam is $135 which only $58 is covered by insurance. Out of cost is now $77 per eye. They include a $72 fee she must pay before they order the glasses but tell her they cannot giver her a receipt and there is no one who can explain to her what the fee is. Come back tomorrow for a receipt is all she gets. No if you cant give me a receipt and you cannot tell me why, dont expect me to pay. Do yourself a favor go elsewhere.

I scheduled an appointment for a routine contact lens exam. They initially told me the fee was 89 dollars. As I was getting ready to pay for my appointment, they tell me its 400 dollars. I asked what were the charges, the receptionist very rudely replies, You signed paperwork you must pay. I asked again what were the charges, they said multiple eye dilations. I laughed at her face and told her to look at my eyes they were NOT dilated. Apparently the Optometrist pushed a bunch of random buttons on his IPAD which is linked to billing. They also made me wait for over an hour. They did not apologize for the erroneous charges. I will never return to this place.

Very misleading and overpriced! I am self pay and called and inquired about price before hand. When I went to pay at the end of my exam, the price was over $200 more than what I was quoted.6 months later I called to order more contacts and they told me I had to come in for another evaluation in order to receive more contacts and they refused to release my contact prescription! WHAT A SCAM!
