Spacious, clean, great selection, and even a decent clearance aisle. I also love that you can find help quickly but are otherwise left to drool over the many choices.
This rating is specifically for the salon. I wish I can remember the man’s name who cut my hair, but I have tried to strike that entire experience from my mind. To say he was disrespectful would be the understatement of the century. He told me I looked like “Cousin It” and asked if I purposely grew my hair so long. When I arrived the girl who “greeted” me was rude and aloof. Immediately I felt like a burden to a place that charges an arm and a leg for a trim! After being made fun of for 20 minutes I was charged $55 for a trim. No dye, no styling, just a blow dry. Considering I was treated like dirt the entire time I didn’t want to push the issue and to get out of that toxic place as fast as possible. Beauty salons are supposed to make you feel beautiful, not berate you and question your decision to let your hair grow. (Which by the way was because I am a mom and can barely do anything without my children)
Lots of products of course, your standard Ulta. Only thing that made my experience 4 stars, was that the employees were staring, and all the testers were back, which was tempting but we all know it’s disgusting, especially unsanitary due to COVID-19. Of course though, wonderful products. Don’t go if you’re looking for deals though, foundations are typically $40 😂.

I had a 2:30 Appt at the salon, the girl that I was scheduled with was 45 plus minutes late. She was not confident in how to do a texture wave or how to test the hair. I choose to do a root color instead. I have short blonde hair. I said whatever you do don’t make it the gray blonde, NO GRAY, in toner… who had gray hair? Me! I have a before and after and a blonde pic I showed her. Then they said it’s not gray….but it will turn blonde when you wash it. I couldn’t stomach it. I had to ask them to fix it. Elise was not able or confident enough to cut my hair either, so she had the man there do it. Not to mention, I felt berated while they were laughing when I wanted a wave, saying hahaha let’s hope her hair doesn’t fall out. Had them all my life, with color and never had an issue. However NOT professional at all. They felt it was ok to Client Shame, ( with wanting a texture, with speaking up and not wanting GRAY hair, and give you a color and cut that they felt comfortable with. I hope no one ever has to endure an experience like this! I missed my function that I needed to be at due to the longevity of the wait and waking while the girl had to get instructions on every thing she needed to do step by step.
I love this ulta so much. I always get nervous to ask questions in makeup stores but here they seem so eager to help you find what you need. One person there helped me look for a specific product for over 15 minutes because I couldn’t remember the name of it.
I usually always order make up online (from colourpop) but I decided I wanted to try some new things so I went to this Ulta for the first time. The workers were so nice to me (and if they read this, they were both so pretty) and gave me recommendations and helped me find everything I was looking for. I will definitely return and hopefully they will be there :)
They have almost any high end makeup
I was really excited to go in today and pick up a new oil cleanser, look at sheet masks, and match a skin tone for a foundation I want to try. I usually buy my products online, but I thought it would be nice to see them in person first and to get a professional opinion for the foundation match. I was greeted at the door, but at no point did anyone ask if I wanted help as I browsed through the store. After not being able to find the oil cleanser I wanted, I approached an employee who seemed visibly annoyed to have me ask for help and took me to her manager. The manager took me to the product but then walked away before I could ask her any further questions. All in all, it was disappointing and upsetting, and I left without purchasing anything I had come in to get.

Took the wife there before we had Christmas photos taken. The staff was very friendly and offered ideas for her make up. We will be going back again for the next time.
I give them no stars. I placed a curbside order and called spoke with clerk who told me that I could pick it up on Dec 14 so I went and was approached by a manger who informed me she was getting off but my order had been canceled I explained to her that I had already paid for it and that I am not very technical that it took me 45 minutes to place that order she told me that I had to place it again on my phone and that the manager on duty now would take care of me. She was not very kind and I explained to her everything once again she wouldn’t just go get my items for me since she said that the order I wouldn’t have been charged for until I picked it up so I again asked if she could just go get my items and let me pay but she refused so I again placed the order but I accidentally sent it to my house knowing that it didn’t have enough time to get here before Christmas I ask the manager inside the store to cancel it for me she refused told me to call this number so I did to cancel the order the lady told me there was no guarantee that my order would be canceled. Then I got an email saying it would be here on December 18 so on the 18 no package I called again and was told that the clerk never canceled my order and that it had not shipped yet and that I could call ups but people had to hold for three hours to try to cancel. So I then plan another curb side order and went over to get it to be told once again that my order had been canceled if I didn’t need the gift so bad I would have quit trying however I needed it so I went into the store had to wait in a line got the items and then tried to use my 20 percent off coupon which I checked to make sure my brands were not excluded I was then told that the coupon said prestigious so I couldn’t use it. So I don’t understand why you give a coupon if you exclude all the items needless to say one of the worst experience of my life. I have a gift card there so I will return to use it but after that I will take my business elsewhere. I usually don’t take the time to write a review however I felt that I should this time. I know if I were the manager of that store I would have taken better care of my customer.
Had an appointment that was mishandled. Showed up for the appointment on time, but Ulta employees said “we have a new booking system that isn’t working out for us.” My appointment was cancelled and store manager could offer no accommodation. Appointments should be honored and better managed.
I decided to stop by on Wednesday to see if they carry Huda products which after walking around for a long while I realized they didn’t. I was not asked at any time if I need anything except by the nice guy in the salon and he was actually cutting someone’s hair. Those girls working the floor do not care to help you find anything at all, if they worked on commission they wouldn’t get paid.
I just left this Ulta location and it is by far my favorite! (I travel a lot to different states and Ulta is definitely a must stop if I see one.) The store was neat and tidy - not to mention, the staff was wonderful. A special shout out to Travis (an absolute gem) who helped me around the store trying to find something that fit my needs shampoo wise. Will be revisiting when I make it back to WV.

GB is a great stylist and I love my cut!!! Definitely gave me a confidence boost and hes just fantastic. Id recommend anyone with curly hair to see him
I placed an order to be picked up curbside as I was waiting in the parking lot. The order was not processed correctly and is being shipped with a $6.00 charge! I only needed $16.00 product. I called to try to correct the issue and as told it would take 24-48 hours to process my request. Needless to say I’m very disappointed with my experience today. Guess I’ll drive somewhere else to get it!
The salon at Ulta is always a 5 star experience. You will always leave happy! They are always willing to do free consultations and will be realistic with you about what can really be achieved with your hair.
Terrible customer service. I took my elderly mother here to try to find some makeup for her. She likes Estee Lauder products and so I thought they might have that brand here. We walked around for several minutes obviously looking for something. Finally I approached a young woman sitting on the floor either cleaning or restocking something. I said Hello and she looked up and said Whats up. I asked if they carried Estee Lauder makeup and she replied No and turned back to what she was doing. We then asked her if they had Elizabeth Arden and again she replied No and turned back to her task. She had an opportunity to say No, I am sorry but we dont carry that line, can I show you something else that might work for you? but she didnt do that. I will probably not shop at Ulta again. There is nothing there that I couldnt buy elsewhere.
I have had good experiences here, employees asking if I need help and actually helping me find my products! I have also had employees who have no idea how to help me, don’t know product names, uses, or even where to find them in the store...I could have helped myself better. Also the cashiers just seem so stand-offish almost every single time I am in this store. Lighten up a bit.
They have a good selection of bath products, skin care, etc. I come here to buy facial sheet masks and such that are hard to find elsewhere. The workers always seem friendly. The only reason I dont give them five stars is that their prices tend to be a little high in my opinion.
I give 5 stars to G in the Salon. I have really long thick curly hair and I needed a trim for my split ends. I have had really bad experiences in the past with people cutting it wayyy too short. This was not the case he was super helpful in giving me tips for my hair and friendly. When I went to checkout the cashier seemed kind of stand offish and I feel like its always like that with the cashiers. Other than that overall experience was great.
I went in for a specific item and had a little trouble finding it. No one offered to help me but they rarely do. I picked up a few other small items. My coupon worked and i received the promotional item offered with my main purchase. I dont wear a lot of make up and i generally feel overwhelmed in Ulta.
I would say this is the most comprehensive beauty store in Morgantown. They have a huge variety of makeup availble. From high end brands to drug store brands. They carry a large variety of hair colors and hair products. They have a great selection of brushes and hair dryers too. They even have an in store salon/beauty bar. If you are looking for a beauty product you will likely be able to find it here.

I have spent several thousand dollars here but today when I went I was tailed and the manager asked if I was stealing. I showed her my rewards platinum card she was instantly vaporized. The entire crowd cheered and I am now Albert Einsteins dad.

I went to Ulta Beauty for a trial run on my wedding makeup application. Thank goodness I did. The foundation was way too dark. The lady that did the makeup told me it was too dark, but instead of starting over she simply added layers upon layers of light powder. My shirt was covered in the powder by the time I made it to my car. Nothing was blended in, and you can see all of the patches in these pictures. I took these pictures in the parking lot a few minutes after getting into my car. I will NEVER recommend going there for makeup application. I feel bad for leaving this review since the lady was so nice, but I dont think she did her best. I also feel like it was a waste of money, and I would not wear this makeup to a wedding or even outside of my house.

Oh I love ulta beauty...my daughter loves it more of course but I do enjoy the people that work there theyre very nice and informative about the products they sell witch of course is the number one thing I look for...thank you Ulta Beauty for making the times we do come in great!!
Filthy everything I touched was covered in product. And had absolutely no inventory I wanted 3 different products and even had them check in back and they were out The employees are not concerned at all with customers they were not helpful at all. Very disappointing I will not return😡

I tried to make an appointment online, it didnt work, not a big deal, I called the store to make it and when I told them what was going on they were dismissive, I asked if the appointment time was avalible and they said no, again understandable, when I asked about another time the girl gave me a completly different date and time, I said Id be unavailable at that time, then she hung up on me! Didnt attempt to make another appointment just CLICK nothing, I can deal with a lot, including being rude, which she was, but hanging up on someone is beyond rude. That is unacceptable for a business!
My daughter got her eyebrows tinted here and they turned out great and she plans on going back her for continuing maintenance
I love Ulta, I enjoy wandering around and looking at different things. This location always seems to have a good selection of different items. My biggest complaint is the employees, yuck. Theyre either too busy talking to each other or playing with their own makeup to even ask if you need help. Two employees stood next to me and had a conversation about how ugly this set of fake eyelashes were and how not even a mom would wear them. Seemed rather unprofessional to me. Cashier also was rather put out that she had to ring me out. Sorry I wanted to spend my money. Makes you want to shop online.

Absolutely infuriated with this location/employees. Believe me, I have already submitted a complaint with Ulta, but I have to vent. Let me start by saying I am a premium Ulta rewards member (meaning I have spend stupid money with this company). All my beauty products come from Ulta, because to me, they offer better deals than Sephora. I went the other day to purchase three things: shampoo/conditioner (they are having a great liter sale), brush cleaner, and a leave-in conditioner. When they only had the shampoo and not the conditioner of what I wanted, I asked an employee if it would be located somewhere else/in the back. Without even checking, she told me we only have the shampoo. So the non confrontational person I am said No problem, Ill grab this other kind (no biggie). I then found a leave-in product Ive never used before, but the tag said spend $25+, get a free 1 oz. leave-in conditioner, so I figured cool, Ill buy the $26 leave-in, and get a free oz. I grab my brush cleaner and go to check out. The woman who checks me out (Elizabeth) seemed a little standoffish, but hey, I get in moods sometimes too. As she is checking me out, she notices I have a gift card and tells me I can go ahead and swipe, so I do. However, I also had a $3.50 off coupon screenshotted on my phone, pulled up, and ready to go. I showed her the coupon, and she says I cant use that because you already swiped your gift card. Well hunny, you TOLD me to swipe the gift card. She doesnt offer to void the transaction, etc. So again, I take a deep breath and pay the remaining balance. I then see that she didnt add the free 1oz of leave-in product (the reason I was willing to try a new brand). I mentioned it, and she says Ill have to see if we have it in stock (HUH?). So she checks some paper (Im assuming to make sure Im not lying) and gets the 1oz for me. I dont think I should have to remind employees of the deals their store is offering. I was made to feel completely stupid and unappreciated. I get that I was in your store the second you probably unlocked the doors that morning, but it was 10am, and I spent over $70 this trip alone. I unfortunately will probably be making the remainder of my Ulta purchases online from now on. Waiting on shipping/delivery time is worth it to avoid those nasty employees. Sorry Ulta, I love you, but you need to hold your employees to higher standards.disclaimer: Only gave 1 star because I had to choose in order to post.

I was just at this location 2 write a review on my fb beauty group and I was waiting 4 a cpl friends 2 come help me review.... 2 ladies come out the back door we r just standing there smoking and the ladies short cut brown hair n glasses starts cussing n was super snotty said she was gna call the law we were trespassing... Little did she know between me and the friends I was waiting on was spending $500+. I will never go there again.
This is the rudest bunch of people Ive ever met! I went in on black Friday and was treated like a thief and had my things taken from me, supposedly to be held behind the counter for me, even after saying no thank you this manager took them anyway! When I went to retrieve them they were magically gone! And of course the items I showed up early to get were out of stock by then! I was completely embarrassed and left the store extremely upset! I shop there 3 to 5 times a week but now I will never shop there again!

The staff is extremely unfriendly and act as if customers are a nuisance. My mother and I were in there one day and they actually thought we were stealing. Havent been back since. This stores management needs reevaluated. If it werent the only place in town to get different types of nail polsih I wouldnt go back.
