My 2012 Titan battery was showing its age when I cranked up, so I resolved to replace it with a new one like the original. I went to John Howard Nissan expecting to buy a new battery to take home to install, since I didnt have an appointment. I was pleased to learn that I could be worked in anyway. So before long I was on my way with a new battery installed!Much obliged!Ralph
Caleb Peters and the entire team at John Howard Nissan were phenomenal to work with! Caleb was honest, kind, transparent in pricing and quick to take action. This was our first time buying from John Howard after being decade long customers of Harry Green in Clarksburg. They were HORRIBLE!! We wouldn’t drive another vehicle from Harry Green if they gave it to us for free. Not even if they’d paid us!! Harry Green jeopardized our long-standing relationship with Nissan by being lazy, greedy, self-serving, liars. Buyer beware!! Head 40 minutes north and be treated with respect and honesty at John Howard. Major kudos to Caleb because we were so skeptical and about to head out of state with a purchase away from the Nissan brand. But Caleb saved the day and won our business! Highly recommend.
I scheduled a recall service appointment. Took the car in at 9:00 a.m. Was told it would take 2.8 hours to fix. 4 hours later they said they could not perform recall repair because they didnt have the part. Also took 1.5 hours for shuttle service to pick us back up after the NON REPAIR service was done.
I like getting a new car, but I can honestly say I do not like the car buying process. My most recent experience at John Howard Nissan was a total exception to that rule. It was the most relaxed, no pressure, best car buying experience I have ever had. Matt was especially friendly and helpful. He was able to answer our questions and made the whole process easy and comfortable. They were more than happy to accommodate our special request and we came to a quick agreement on price. Delivery was fast and they have made me feel like I can call or stop by anytime I have a question or concern. I would recommend them highly, without hesitation.
Dropped my car off to be checked our for an issue. They kept my car for two days and didnt contact me. I had to call them to find out the status. Then, they said they couldnt work on it for a week, so I scheduled an appointment a week out. The MORNING OF THE APPOINTMENT, I got a voicemail that they are cancelling my appointment and cannot get it back on the schedule for TWO MORE WEEKS. Thanks for wasting my time!! Finding someone else now! And praying my car doesnt break down in the process.

The service started out being a complete disaster. After Patrick and Trish got involved, the whole matter was taken care of to my complete satisfaction. They corrected the problems with the service and were very appreciative that I brought the problems to their attention. Could not be happier and will definitely return.
I went to their service dept and had a wonderful experience. My 2006 Nissan Titan needed 3 recalls fixed.. I was treated well and was taken in the next day. They told me it would be a few days as they had to order the fuel gauge and the ecu ( computer ).. they stayed in good contact with me and got my truck back to me quickly.4 stars from their service dept.. I dont know about their sales but I know they were good with me as far as service.

In July if 2016 I purchased my third car from John Howard Nissan. I have always had a great experience with the staff weather it be the sales team or service department. They pay great attention to detail and work with any situation you may have to get you the best deal possible. I wouldnt go anywhere else!!
I made an appointment at John Howard more than a week ago to get my vehicle serviced for a safety recall. Apparently, Nissan made vehicles with air bags that kill the occupants and I bought one. John Howards service department waited until I dropped my vehicle off to let me know they do not have any more airbags. A phone call at any time during the subsequent two weeks would have been the appropriate time to ask me if I wanted to reschedule.
Taking back my 5 star review. Very disappointed in my experience. I usually drop in to get my car serviced, but this time I scheduled an appointment hoping it would take less time. I was there for 3 hours for a simple service and an oil change. No respect for my time.
Compared to other places Ive been to have my car serviced, they dont try to push work on you unless its necessary. They even took a picture of what was worn. Dealerships get a bad rap sometimes but John Howard has always been honest when it comes to working on my car .

We purchased a Versa from here and we went back for oil change and annual state inspection. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. While waiting we were treated to a choice of warm tasty pastries of the day which they get from local bakeries and a choice of hot or cold beverages (we had blueberry muffins & the biscotti coffee) served by their wonderful Concierge. Everyone was great and did an awesome job. Car still running great!

Decent selection of cars new and used but the staff leaves a lot to be desired. I test drove a car I was interested in and told the sales men I needed time to think about it and they kept haggling me trying to get me to take it home that day. The salesmen said Ill give you time to think and wont call and bother you the next day he called him 3 times before noon which woke me up (I work night shift). I wouldnt recommend anyone going there to buy a vehicle.

Liars I was there looking at a couple of used cars, cars I had done some research on. The person I was dealing with told me the car I was looking at which was 2 years old should sell for nearly 40gs when on the actual car makers website that makes the particular car I was looking at sells that same model for 15000 less than that. And the actual asking price being asked for by John Howard for this 2 year old car was nearly somewhere between 5 and 10 thousand more than what it was actually worth. They are trying to rob people there just to line their own pockets. Ill never do business with those guys. Maybe all of this that Im saying isnt completely accurate but this much is true I definitely got the sense that they are not on the level so to speak

I sincerely wish I could give less than one star. Purchasing a vehicle from this company was the WORST mistake my fiancé and I could have made. Our vehicle was in the service department for almost half of the 2017 year, with no resolution. Upon getting it back with a flat tire, no gas, and a dead inspection sticker it will no longer pass state inspection. The service department has no answer to the issue and suggested to wait for it to blow up before BOTH of our warranties expired. As excited young adults to make a first big purchase together, we are very disappointed with outcome. -1 Star
I recently purchased a new 2017 Titan XD in October 2016, the entire Staff I met that day mad my experience the Best! From Mr. Randy Buzzo, Tim Long my salesman, and the service dept. for delivering my accessories I ordered in less than a week. Truthfully one of my best Truck buying experiences!
Service costs are a disgrace. I had a routine 60k service done. They changed the oil, oil filter, cabin filter. Said the tires did not need to be rotated. I had the rear brake pads replaced. Total time in the shop... 2 hours. Labor charge... $338. Doctors dont get $168 an hour. I talked with the manager and got the usual non-answer as to how the prices are set, etc. I told him I wouldnt be back, even though I originally bought the car there. You are much better off going to an independent shop to have work done.

Everything was done on time, and the customer service was exceptional. Right after I left I found that the wrong wiper blade was put on the back, and when I drove right back, they took care of it immediately, and I got a cup of coffee and a scone while I waited.
Replaced an AIR FILTER ( I asked for my old one and they no longer had itt) saying thats what was wrong then, sent me in my way (Im from MD, by the way). NOT EVEN 20 miles later, SAME THING, car wont move. Towed to a different Nissan dealer...ITS THE TRANSMISSION! GIVE ME MY $$ BACK, thieves! AND, received poor service not to mention being denied a rental due to my service dog. (I wonder what the A.D.A would say about that?) If I could give LESS than 1 star Id give it!

My 1.5 year old outback 2017 has small buzzing noises when the engine run at 1100-1500 rpm and a malfunction fuel gauge occasionally. So I made an appointment and spent two hours there waiting. The service guys are nice BUT they couldnt locate the source of the noises although they did try to put some foam around the engine cover, and also they couldnt tell the cause of fuel gauge issue either, very disappointed. I have to drive it and live with the annoying noises on my way home, and the next day, the fuel gauge didnt work properly again. This is my first outback, very very very disappointed!

Visited following a routine recall of the passenger seat indicator potentially being faulty. Id scheduled my visit, and arrived before time, and they took me right away. I was told that the process would take about an hour, but ended up getting resolved in under 15 minutes!Like the waiting area, with complimentary coffee/tea, and free wi-fi too!

Terrible service department and very unresponsive service manager. Director is even worse. I wouldnt take my worst enemys Nissan here. Be sure to call your complaints into 1-800-NISSAN-1 as I assume nothing will ever change otherwise. There is obviously a reason John Howard had their Dodge dealership revoked.

Waste of time and money. I had to spend more than $1800 to fix a noise because of their 55 points inspection. A week later, the noise still there, and the car can not pass WV state inspection! Avoid at all cost.

Went to John Howard to look at a used pickup truck. Even though I ended up not buying the truck they were totally up front and honest with what they had (and didnt have). Honestly, its the only time thats ever happened to me! Next time Im looking for a car used or new this is the first place Ill check.
