My wife and I recently completed a renovation on our house and updated our kitchen. Having used Mendoza before for a basement wet bar (which came our fantastic) we visited them again right away. Both my wife and I had a very specific image of what we wanted our countertops to look like. We had found a stone that was not something Mendoza normally stocked and so we asked if they could get it and they did! We worked with both Lucas and Daniela during this process. Midway through our process of confirming our countertops we threw Daniela through a loop and told her we were now considering a matching quartz backsplash. My wife and I loved the appearance of this but had some major concerns as we would need a seam in the backsplash to accommodate the length. We had heard some horror stories and really struggled with the decision. Daniela truly deserves an award for putting up with our concerns and constant questions. After the installation finally took place we should have listened to them from the beginning and never worried. The counters and backsplash came out absolutely incredible. We really couldn’t have been happier. Thank you to Daniela, Lucas and Fabian - we would highly highly recommend them!

Mendoza is whom i originally bought my granite from, they were my fabricators and installers as well almost 8 years ago. Gorgeous granite i got from them! Many areas in my home were at odd angles and pieces were made custom for me as well!!! 8 years later i had a few chips, some bigger the others as i picked very high end granite, but certain types can be fragile. I have been upset over these little chips in the granite for some time now and wanted them repaired!!! You always go right to the source!! They made it perfect the first time and once again made it perfect the second time, for me to enjoy for many more years to come!!!I made the Apptmt with Daniella, who is a doll!, always helpful and friendly every time i called. She set me up with her brother Lucas, who came to assess the damage and repair costs as well as resealing with this amazing new product called HydroShield. He was thorough with the examination of all the counter tops in my house, identified a few issues i didnt even know i had, was kind and friendly as can be and also introduced me to HydroShield as my new sealant!! We agreed on a price and Daniella called to set up the appointment the following week. Their father and the owner of Mendoza came personally to do the job!!! His name is Fabian, he was sweet, amazing, friendly, like having family in your house, not a contractor!! He found even more little chips and fixed all of them like new!!! Didnt charge me a penny extra for it and was here nearly 4 hours to do all the repairs and the HyrdoShield application.Needless to say above and beyond all my expectations when he finished. He said it was the very best he could get it and had me look it over, he said it can never look like new again unless they took the stone back to the store, but wanted to make sure i was happy with the repairs. Well his eye is clearly a million times better then mine because it looked 100% brand new, like 8 years ago level perfection to me!!!! I been so happy over my granite the last few days its not even normal! Lol, but the shine and brilliance to it is amazing, its like glass!!!! The HydroShield is really something everyone with granite should get to protect it from stains, cooking, cleaning with the wrong products!!!! Which i was totally doing!!! Water just beads up on it and its warrantied for like 7 or 8 years!!!! Worth every penny!!! Fabian gave me an amazing HydroShield cleaner and cloth as well, told me plain soap and water is best to clean Granite but you know when you cook and oil gets everywhere soap and water just doesnt cut it, and i have to say i was worried this new cleaner wouldnt either but it does!!!! OMG it does!!!! One cleaning after dinner last night after using a frying pan and granite was back to glass like cleanliness!! You can use it on mirrors and electronics as well. A must have cleaner if you want to keep your granite flawless even longer after repairs and HydroShield. I believe everyone with granite should get the HydroShield coating every 7 or 8 years for sure!!! I know i will!!!Mendoza could not have made me happier then they did!!! Esp during covid and mid winter w snow every other day!!! Made my week! Maybe my month!!! Fabian, Lucas and Daniella treated me like and are like family to me now!!! Cant wait to go see their new show room in Morristown next time i am in Morristown and say hi and probably buy some more cleaner!!! What a Wonderful family run, owned and operated business. I couldnt wait to call them and tell them what a wonderful job they did and how happy i have been and i couldnt wait to write a review because everyone should have an experience like this, especially when purchasing or resorting something as expensive, beautiful and delicate as granite, marble and quartz!!!!!! We had our master bath remodeled. We went to see Daniela to pick out a Quartz countertop for the vanity, tub area, and seat for the shower. The crew came out to measure and within a week they came back to do the install. Everything went smooth and the final product looks great in our new bathroom.

I work in Morristown and noticed their retail store driving home. Daniela was great to work with. Their numbers fit our budget. Granite looks great. The measure and install team were on time and efficient. Overall a great experience from start to finish.

After several delays and issues we encountered with our installation,. our sales rep, Alex Trowbridge, promised us a partial refund (both verbally and in writing). After weeks of being told the check is in the mail, my husband went in to the store to meet with Alex and the owner of the business refused to pay us the refund . Since then I have made further attempts to contact the owner to come to some sort of resolution that we would both be comfortable with, but he has refused to respond. Bottom line - this company and the OWNERs do not care about their customers or getting your future business. They are not trustworthy and do not honor their promises!

I had my granite installed 5 years ago. The white has turned grey despite the sealer which cost extra. I called Daniela, the owner and she was incredibly rude and argued with me about the fact that I didnt take care of the granite. I did exactly as I was told, which was to only use soap and water due to the sealer. Daniela told me I mistreated my granite by putting glasses of wine, bottles with olive oil and various food items that caused staining. Isnt that what a granite counter is used for?! In order to have it brought back to its original color I have to spend a lot of money to have them come do it. On top of that, there is a long crack in the granite. I told Daniela I was going to post a review and she told me to go ahead, that she would just respond back to any bad reviews. This is a terrible business to work with because they dont care about their clients. Or perhaps its just the owner, who I dealt with. There are so many granite shops that I would suggest you drive past Mendozas, and find a place where they take care of the customer. I wish I had purchased my granite from another store. Not this store where to owner is rude and yells at her customers.
