Wide variety of flavors and options. This local gem has been around for a while and they do not disappoint. The only downside is that they do close early during the week. If you go on the weekends around meal times definitely be prepared to wait in line. Parking is limited however you will always find a spot on the street, and there are some hidden parking lots on either side of the building.Helpful tip: Youre not sure what flavors youre going to like they will definitely let you sample the flavors before making your choice.

My daughter really loved the ice cream and the young men and women that were serving us were personable and courteous. I had their watermelon ice and it was absolutely delicious! I get it with a doppel of vanilla ice cream which adds a creaminess to the ice and it was delicious! Highly recommend!!!

The South Street Creamery—or, as most people in Morristown refer to it, simply, The Creamery—is a very good option for lunch or dessert. I usually get a margarita pizzette for lunch and a special, home-made flavour of ice cream called Grandma’s Kitchen for dessert. Grandma’s Kitchen is a flavour with a vanilla base, caramel, edible, raw cookie dough, and small chocolate chips. I often get a Grandma’s Kitchen milkshake instead of traditional ice cream. All of these options are delicious and usually an amount of food which fits my appetite. Crêpes here are also delicious!TIP: Lunch goes from 11am to 3pm here and can be very crowded, so go early or come here just for dessert. We were passing by for a soccer game and stopped in based on the reviews. Unfortunately the soft serve ice cream was not very good, my wife and I both threw ours out. Lacked flavor and texture was off. We’re spoiled living near magic fountain in Summit, this was not remotely comparable. Kids liked the hard ice cream. Service was good but won’t be returning.

The menu is great, everything is home made. They have a cafe on one side, Ice cream on the other. Its quaint and relaxing. They usually have two types of soups daily, perfectly made and healthy. Prices are modest and plate size too.

Unplanned, we happened to try the South Street Creamery as we were in the area. It has become one of our favorite ice cream shops. The flavor choice selections and portions were huge - well worth their same-as-others prices. We even make the 45 minute trip, summer or winter, it is so good.

Its an amazing place to go to if you are looking for fresh and homemade ice cream. Its does have gelato, slush, cookies as well as homemade fudge along with amazing ice cream flavours.

I was very impressed with the attention to detail and work etiquette of the staff. I ordered a ham and cheese gluten-free crepe, coffee, and gelato and all were delicious. Would highly recommend!

Very nice ice cream from a huge shop in Morristown. The staff is super friendly and give the place a great local vibe. The ice cream is amazing and comes in great flavors. The ice cream cake it great, and doesnt have that terrible cake layer like most others. Just make sure to call ahead to get a flavor other than chocolate.

Friendly enough staff.. the sign has crapes on it, my wife is a addicted to them so she was very excited to try them. Its was good but they come out with a very small portion for the price. Just one. I didnt even want to try it because I felt bad. Then my panini was all bread.. the location is great but the food is not worth it. You find better at a diner

I really want to support this place, but the staff seems to be pushy and fake friendly if you dont tip they turn to rude and aggressive. I went there with my 16 months baby and when they gave me the receipt to sign it my baby held the pen after I signed it and didnt add tip so Rita grabbed the pen from my baby till my baby got scared. I also have other incidents buying ice cream and the cashier was so rude to me.I tip when I feel there is a reason to tip not because I feel compelled to do so.I dont think we will be going back to this place again.

The staff was super friendly and let me sample quite a few flavors. I went in on a slow day, it was rainy. My favorite was something called Grandmas Kitchen and I got a double scoop of that. It was good, but not Amish-style, slow-churned, buttery-goodness good, which I have had before. This ice cream tastes just like higher-end store-bought e.g. Haagan Dazs, Talenti, etc. I dont get the long lines?

I came here for the first time tonight, on a reccomendation, and I was not dissapointed. I had some malted ice cream and a crepe. I highly suggest the french apple crepe! I cant wait to come back again and try more.
