Highway 41 Antiques is HUGE! There is so much to see, you could spend all day finding unique treasures. With 12,000 square feet of shopping, I have found so many of the items I had been looking for. They have a large outdoor patio & garden area along with 2 enclosed rooms stocked full, perfect for finding any type of handyman tools & gadgets. They even have 3 additional rooms in an upstairs area...They have updated their HOURS OF OPERATION, theyre OPEN @ 10:00 AM-CLOSED @ 4:30 SHARP EVERY DAY. If you want it, they will more than likely have it at prices that cant be beat! LOVE THIS PLACE!
Love the ladies at the front desk. They are extremely helpful for what youre looking for. Its like a big huge treasure chest and lots of fun to reminisce when you find things that you recognize from your past.
Love this place. Not only indoor decor, step outside to find plenty of rustic planters, benchs, and small patio cafe furniture. Needs TLC if you dont like the rustic look. I found prices reasonable for such items considering what they cost brand new.
Rude customer service. We asked about a type of item and the woman complained about having 80 vendors so how should she know? Then she loudly bad mouthed us to her coworkers. Why would you offer help to a customer if you’re going to be rude about it? Thanks for nothing.
Big store full of great stuff an friendly staff
It is hard to critique an Antique Store because they dont particularly serve a customer, so it is particularly difficult for me to do so. Now this doesnt mean that this Antique Store is bad, on the contrary they are one of thee best I have ever had the privilege of beings in. They dont look big on the outside, but when you walk in and see the space it is breathtaking. You can spend hours walking and looking at everything and still come back later and see more. They have an amazing selection of general Antiques, tools, cookware, furniture, china, toys, you name it.
Bad customer service! Been a great place for years but got rushed out the store, items snatched from our hands to hurry and buy and out the store by 4:30 pm. The store closes at 5pm. Worst customer service I ever had in any store.
Lovely place always a pleasure to visit.
Lovely place, very friendly employees, and great selection. Lots of fun, quirky items!
Great place. Lots of beautiful antiques and other collectables.
Greatest thing thst ever happening ti morro bay for shopping. Theres something for everyone & the knowledgable staff there is very kind & helpful as can be. great deals....easy to social distance within this massive 12,000 sq ft.. 2 story w huge garden area for a relaxing experience..Go Go Go here...a cool cool modern day mall of the future..enjoy!
Only half of the staff wares masks. There was obviously intoxicated older woman making irrational choices for the business. The inventory is overpriced. If you want to waste you’re money and get ripped off come here ASAP !Last thing, the owner is rude and condescending!
Great collection of interesting, fun, funky, authentically antique finds. Store is a large ground floor, outside area and upstairs!! So much to see. Shop owner is conservative, friendly and fun. New things come into the store daily!! Stop by and check it out.
Love visiting here everytime we come to town. I always find something to bring home with me!
The owner is great! Lots of neat things to look at. Nice record selection!
Been in twice during the month of July 2020, both visits the owner and 4 other vendor/workers were not wearing the state/county mandated face coverings, nothing. Worse yet, our second visit 2 of these vendor/workers came out from behind the main counter right up to myself and another couple shopping to ask if we needed help and tried to chat a bit. When we left all 5 were back behind the counter sharing food and 3 were having wine. Just another regular day for them with no virus precautions being taken what so ever. You wonder how the virus keeps spreading? Their actions or rather lack there of are how. Really disapointing, not a safe feeling and we wont be back.
Best antique store i have ben in.
I recently took a motorcycle trip up the coast and stopped in at Highway 41 Antiques. Francine and staff were exceptionally pleasant. Not only did we find a few good bargains, but I felt I made some new friends and it was one of the highlights of the weekend. I cant wait to return with my wife and a larger vehicle to carry away some great stuff! Thank you, Francine!
Staff was so helpful, they pointed me in the right direction to find exactly the large apothecary glass jar I was looking for but it didn’t have the lid I wanted so they showed me were to find glass lids and helped me find (lid by lid) the precise lid to fit! This store has so much stuff basically anything you’re looking for in easy to find sections, good prices, and helpful staff. A must visit.
Lots of stuff to look at! Reasonable prices. Very nice staff. Ive scored some awesome stuff here.
I want to add to my wife’a review. As a guy I have experienced visits to Highway 41 Antique Emporium and find all kinds of fantastic buys. The owner and staff leave me to wonder unless I need help. The have always been kind and sweet. I NEVER read or leave feedback, but was so disturbed by some of the reviews that I felt compelled to write something. Thanks for all the sweet and kind assistance.
I want to send a shout out and thank you to the ladies of Highway 41 Antique Emporium for taking such good care of me. If you ever get a chance take my advice and stop by to his wondrous store. You will get lost in the vast size of it and enjoy the clean organized booths. The prices are comparable and every time I go I see all new treasures. The sweet owner and her staff provide help without being pushy. I love going there as I get lost looking around and get reenergized. Again thank you ladies keep up the good work.
Great antique mall! Lots of dealers with a wide range of collectibles. Always on our to do list when we are in Morro Bay.
I was in the store and heard one lady totally verbally abusive to another worker. I couldnt stand it and spoke up and told the the lady she should apologize to her. She introduced herself as the owner and I said that doesnt give her the doesnt give her The right to treat the employee like s***.and that she should apologize. She said she was not going to apologize to me. I explained that I didnt expect an apology but the employee deserved an to apologise to the employee, I will not be shopping thereathere again!thecstand it and spoke up in defense of the employee who addmi
We love this place ❤️ Francine is such an great lady both professionally and personally 😊 We have bought many items there. She and the other women are very helpful. We look forward to going there each time we are in Morro Bay.
It was a nice place to visit and check out. Alot of older items and antiques. Nice staff. I would have bought some stuff but the prices were a bit much. I saw a jar of marbles that had rocks in it that was being charged at $12. A bit much for my blood. Would definitely check it out again. But not sure if I would buy anything.
The owner of this business is rude, disrespectful, insulting, unprofessional, mean, and hateful. Folks, don’t spend any of your money at this business. Just drive buy. There are better antique stores in the Morro Bay Area. The owner is creepy tooThis is a edit to the creepy owners 1 Star response. There was a trash can that I put a paper cup in that was outside in a garden area that was full so cigarettes butts. (Gross!!!) The trash I wanted to throw away was located outside in their parking lot, so I was trying to be a good customer. Instead, the owner was unprofessional. Folks. Don’t spend you time and money at this business. The owner is awful. Save your money folks. She is dishonest.
NONE of the staff here were wearing masks. And they did not require people shopping to wear masks.Great antique mall but obviously not concerned with operating a safe and healthy establishment.
This is a great consignment center. Francine Esposito and her staff are very friendly and helpful. The place has a lot of variety with good quality items. The prices are a steal and there are a lot of booths which are cleanly maintained. I got a nice Kahala shirt and a tin submarine toy. I highly recommend this Morro Bay Consignment Center. Dont miss it!
People are great. Tremendous variety. Plenty of bargains. Give yourself time to explore!
The clerks are jerks. We left the store in disgust after the owner/ clerk with the loud east coast accent suggested to the other clerks that we didn’t have enough money to buy anything there anyway. They were upset we were in the store at all, telling us they closed in 15 minutes (a lie, since they actually closed in 30 minutes). They were locking the doors behind us. I can’t believe how rude they were and I’ve never been treated like that. And I worked retail for 20 years. I would have fired any employee acting like that. We weren’t being messy or loud. I just wanted to look for antique movie posters. And for the record- JERK LADY- I have much more money than you have courtesy or class.
I love this antique mall. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They allow furry four legged friends and welcome offers on merchandise. This is always a stop we make when headed to Morro Bay. They have a huge variety of antiques, from furniture, to linen, tools, kids toys, guns, pots, etc. Youll probably find SOMETHING you cant live without... Lol.
Been here each yr. for past 6+ yrs. Owner, Francine was very nice, willing to help in any way. Other employees were also very nice & knowledgeable. Bot a Kingman ring, and she reduced price a bit to help me buy it 😃. Jewelry, stone necklaces, all types of collectibles, furniture, small wine tasting in back, old signs, etc. Definitely worth going to. Best in Morro Bay area.
Closes at 4:50? Yet we were kicked out at 4:40. Dont waste your time or money here. The owner is rude and doing a huge disservice to her vendors. The store doesnt really have a great selection of antiques its mostly newer collectible stuff. Keep driving.
❤ if youre interested in antiques, youll thoroughly enjoy this place.
Very interesting stuff they have inside for some very neat very interesting good place if youre looking for something or just stop in have a look around Ive only been there once so far I like what I seenJust kind of makes me wish they had a sign closer to the road so I can notice it
Francine, the owner of this antique mall, is extremely rude, judgmental, unprofessional, and is costing her vendors good business and money. She does not value customers—period. If you are a vendor looking for a booth to rent, run away from this place as fast as you can.If you are a buyer, also stay away. There are many more wonderful antique shops full of treasures, with owners who will treat you with respect. My wife and I are frequent antique buyers. We’ve been to most antique shops in the area, from Cayucos to SLO to Paso, and this is the place we have received the absolute worst treatment. That probably explains why, of all the antique shops we visited that day, this one was empty of customers; I guess Francine ran them all out, just like she did with us.We spent a couple hours browsing, dressed in jeans and hoodies. We had already taken a stool to the counter and were also considering buying a hutch and dining table set we liked, for quite a bit of money. We saw a unique instrument for $20 and checked it out, thinking if we should add it to our list of items, when Francine came toward us screeching to put it back. We had to keep telling her we were checking it out and that we would put it back when we were done, but she kept coming over to harass us. We were not making a ruckus, just making sure each key played. The instrument was sturdy and solid, it did not have a sign that said “Do not touch” or anything like that. What drove the point home, was even after we stopped playing it, she kept yelling, even threatening to take it away herself. That’s when we realized she was treating us so aggressively because she didn’t think we could afford anything in her store, and she had taken this opportunity to push us out. Well she just cost her vendors all the other big ticket items we were considering to buy, over her disgusting attitude. How can she harass one of her only customers like that? Do not give your business to a person who treats others so terribly. We ended up buying just the stool because the cashier was nice to us and she’d been holding it for us. As we were leaving the shop, Francine asked us if we bought the instrument, we told her “no”, and as we were walking away she mockingly yelled “I THOUGHT SO!” Wow. What an idiot. She lost hundreds of dollars we would have spent in her store, plus any future purchases. Seriously, I feel so bad for the vendors who are in that shop. She is the worst owner we have met in the area, it is simply just not worth it, save your time, and most importantly save your money!
Great customer service. Great selection pig vintage and really clean
Fun store. Nice owners
Big place but the owner is really rude. I have experienced it myself and have been told by two other locals how rude she is.
Will never be coming back to this place. I wanted to look at some jewelry inside the glass containers and was treated as if I wouldn’t be able to buy it. The lady says she “doesn’t want to waste her time showing me something I wouldn’t buy because it is worth thousands of dollars”. Excuse me, let me be the one to decide if I can or can’t buy it! Horrible service here. I would NOT recommend this store.
Lots of goodies
Nicely organized location. They have an outdoor area with patio furniture and plants for sale. Large jewelry selection.
Lovely store, sales people awesome. Owner very helpful.
Best antique mall on the Central Coast. On Highway 41 just off of Highway 1. Love shopping there every time I go.
Fantastic selection of items. Friendly staff that cut us a great deal.
Very Nice Place. Prices Are Reasonable. Worth The Trip.
Owner was beyond rude to me & my daughters. She told my oldest to watch my younger daughter and told my younger daughter to hold her hands together. They were not touching anything. I asked for prices and was told they were closing in 5 minutes several times. It was 4:40. She acted like we were a bother. Decided to spend my money elsewhere.
