They make it extremely difficult to return things, even if the item was faulty to begin with. Won’t help you, even if you return within the hour to say the product isn’t working. Also if at any point you lose a receipt just call customer service and they will email you one.

Love this place. The employees do know what they are talking about. It isn’t their fault if a game is sold out. That is a corporate thing. It is also not their fault about how much they can buy games for. Corporate thing again. Love going in there. Can you believe it, I’m 50 and enjoy it still. Only certain games though. Fallout and Rage.

I dont like how the staff go to one customer then leave that customer and go to the next customer. They dont help finish helping one so I think they should get some new people to work here and then try and tell a customer that the Internet isnt working right. I feel like they need people who are willing to treat customers with respect and not just ignore customers. I really hope that GameStop learns that customer service is everything and that my boyfriend and I have been waiting before other customers show up so thank you GameStop for making customers wait for 30.

I always went to game stop & bought items out Game store; say out of all States I have been, most of them are reasonable ; So for me most of the time it was mostly successful. GREAT !!

Walked in very shortly after they opened to trade in my old Xbox 360 and a ton of games and was greeted by Nathan who was very friendly and super chill about the fact that I just dumped a ton of old games on him. He helped me get everything traded in for all that it was worth and helped me set up an account with games top all very quickly and professionally. All in all the service was excellent.

It’s incredible how this store deliberately tried to escape their company return policy. Tried returning an “opened new item” and they tried to tell me that because it was opened they could only “exchange it.” Printed clearly on the back of any Game Stop receipt is their return policy which states, “Opened New accessories CAN be returned OR exchanged within 30 days.” We literally returned it within 5 days. Never going back to this store. Lady was so rude. Would give it a 0 out of 5.

Its tiny. The staff is nice, but they seem wary to address a girl even if she looks like a gamer. They werent rude, just standoffish. The selection is pretty meager, and trading your games in gets you about as much money as picking up change outside a dumpster in Queens.

Lady manager is sweet. I enjoy being treated as an equal, and kindly being explained as to why my preorder had not arrived on time. Most of the employees are nice- Nathan likes to chuckle and give snide answers. Clearly you’re not employed at Walmart, but if I wanted to be laughed at & treated In that manner for asking where I should buy the Sword & Shield Double pack today if GAMESTOP doesn’t have it, I guess I should’ve just gone everywhere else but. Over priced items for used, you can buy it brand new at walmart . Trade in value not worth it . Sell it on Facebook or craigslist.

This store us not customer friendly. Everything is behind the counter and there are too many refurbished items for sale. Definitely disappointed how Gamestop has changed for the worse.

Game-stop refuses to price match any competitors. They are also driving their membership program into the ground removing elite pro and downgrading the benefits of having the standard pro membership. The only thing they offer over the competition is exclusive content in your games with pre-orders only at game-stop you can get a exclusive digital goody. Is that worth paying a premium on your game? I personally dont think so but Im sure some are willing to pay that premium to get that exclusive digital goody. Walmart is right next door and sells their games for 10$ less 50$ instead of 60$ unless its a fresh release on that week. Amazon offers you even a better deal at 60$ on a pre order with 10$ credit on it making it 50$ for a brand new game. So game-stop cant compete in competitive pricing because they refuse to price match their competitors. One thing game-stop excelled at to keep you coming in and loyal to them was their power up rewards program get rewarded for your purchases and get better deals through pro membership and elite pro which where both good until they removed elite pro and lessened the benefits of the pro membership. So they have no special rewards program thats worthwhile. If you still decide to shop at game-stop next time you go in ask them to price match they will tell you we dont do that. After you ask them that ask them whats the point of the pro membership they will list of the benefits then ask them does that pro membership bring your games down to 50$ to be competitive with my other options to buy video games it will also be a no. So if i havent convinced you not to shop at game-stop you can convince yourself by just talking to a staff member at the game-stop. Game-stop used to be a awesome place to buy video games but now it feels like they just think of customers as walking cash cows. Maybe one day they will return to their roots and price match competitors and have a good rewards program again. They always tried to salesman pre-orders and other things on you when visiting but at-least in the past they had a reason for a customer to visit a game-stop. Which was a unique experience in its own for a gamer to see a brick and mortar store that dedicated itself to video games.

They dont always have the games Im looking for, but theyre willing to work with me if I wanted a game shipped to their store for purchase and pickup

This place is too crowded, space-wise, to handle much customer traffic, and seems to be habitually understaffed. HOWEVER, their prices for used, hard to find games are reasonable and the quality of games they sell are good.

This is the best place to shop for games and browse. You can also buy and sell used games. Many varities of different collectables and merchandise to choose from. Oh, and did I mention GAMES!

Preordered a game, was the only person to preorder that version. They ended up selling it to someone else. Steer clear.

So I called in to ask them about returning a few products I bought from GameStop a women answered and said they were not open yet but if I wanna call back after 11 she will look to see if there system would let me return them I called back after 11 and no one answered I called back again and still no answer so I called from my girlfriends phone and she finally answered nice job with the caller id and ignoring my call I will never go through them again
