It was my first time here and Ill definitely be coming back again. It took 5 minutes to order and even less for my food to be ready to eat. Yum 🤤

It is pretty tiny store, but with a lot of bagel options. I took all in one bagel with sausage, cheese, and omelette. It was a perfect late breakfast. I would recommend this place if you missed your breakfast/launch and you need something on the go.

They have a pretty big menu inside and provide fast service. there was a bit too much cream cheese on my bagel but it was fine. the food we ordered tasted great and the staff was nice. it was so busy and there were a ton of people coming in to the restaurant and a lot of people going out because they were so busy the morning we visited.

Everyone talks about their bagels, but have you tried the croissants?! House of Bagels makes some of the best croissants Ive ever eaten. And as everyone else says, they have great bagels. Get here early as they do sell out of certain flavors.

Great sandwiches, awesome staff, and they even made me a dirty Thai tea. (Even though it wasnt on the menu.) All in all, I would stop at any one of their locating whenever I get a chance. Not sure where or is located? Just look for the long lines. People love this place, and its worth the wait.

Great place for NYC traditional bagel.

Today is predicted to be 103 degrees. At 9am, the inside of the shop had to have been at least 86. There was no sitting and enjoying breakfast inside the shop. There was no moving air and it was unbearably hot. This isnt good working conditions for the employees either. My sesame bagel was okay - not really good chew to it. Worst of all, my coffee had a good amount of grounds. Not a positive visit.

I have been coming to this bagel shop for quite sometime now. If anything, I only had good words for them until today.I got my bagel with jalapeno cream cheese. And while I was driving and having my bagel, i felt something sharp pinching on my gums in my mouth. I spit it out and found a few inches long twisted metal wire in there.

The owner May is so warm and accommodating! I went after theyre close, but she still opened the door for me. Bagels were good. Is it the best in town? I cant taste the difference between the best ones and the decent ones. Id definitely go back for the bagels and the warm hospitality!

Lots of quality bagel options....warm and tasty. They have very tasty bagel sandwich options for breakfast and lunch. Lots of cream cheese options too. They have remained open for business during the COVID-19 health situation.

Great bagels here. Their Everything bagel (they call it All-in-one) is especially excellent. Especially when toasted, these bagels are crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle. Around lunch time, I often see them continue to dump fresh bagels in the bin (at least the all-in-ones), which is awesome.I often get a Western Omelette sandwich for lunch as well, and its actually quite good. A lot of bagel places have pretty tasteless egg sandwiches, but the sausage and cheese here are actually pretty good.

Bagels are good, but suddenly, after a few years of going there, there’s a min $5 purchase to use a credit card. And the person taking my order did not communicate with the person making my order... and both got upset with me?? So I wonder if they don’t want my business. I’ll find another place I suppose.

Bacon, egg & cheese bagel was a solid recommendation, albeit a bit pricey. Varied selection of beverages and types of bagels plus day old bagels available for discounted price. Outdoor seating for those with dogs.

I was excited to find somewhere with gluten free bagels. But the bagel was so small that they should give me 2 for the price of one. The food was alright. Eggs were microwaved so that wasnt too appealing but other wise solid breakfast sandwich

I just moved to CA from NJ 9 months ago. Ive tried a handful of bagel places around the South Bay area since then, hoping to get my fix of real NY-style bagels. I had almost given up hope... but House of Bagels hit the spot! A nice crust (evidence of a legit boil) and chewy, doughy crumb. This was distinctly a bagel - not just bread/a roll in a bagel shape (which seems to pass for a bagel around these parts).The veggie cream cheese was good, not the best Ive had. Id prefer bigger chunks of veggies in there - but thats a personal preference.On my quest for east-coast bagels though there are still two things I still cant seem to understand: (1) all-in-one bagels (akin to the everything on the east cost) here dont seem to come with salt on them. Why? Salt makes it taste so much better; and (2) almost every bagel place I go to microwaves their eggs. This kills me. Microwaved eggs just dont cut it! The stovetop griddle is a necessary staple for amazing breakfast sandwiches.

I came here right before work since I didnt have breakfast yet! This place is pretty cool, it has a ton of bagel options that you can choose from, lots of different cream cheese options, they also serve boba drinks too!I ordered lox in an everything bagel. It was very good! The salmon was delightful and the onions added flavor & crunch. For my drink I ordered an iced coffee (they only serve this in a large cup by the way), to be honest it was definitely not the greatest iced coffee Ive ever had. There is something with the flavor that is lacking, I didnt quite enjoy it as much as I wanted to. Anyhow, I will def come back for their bagels, but as for their iced coffees Im going to have to pass.

I am a tourist and variety of bagels choice from menu blow my mind, from bagel type to filling. Having some real food - a good bagel and a real coffee here fuel me up for the day.

The got the jalapeño bagel and it was not the best Ive had. Just hard and rubbery. However, my husband got the everything bagel and that was way better.Its not the bagels thatll make me return, but the cream cheese definitely will! Im in love with their date and apricot cream cheese. Yum!

House of Bagels has been a staple of the Los Altos community for many years for good reason. It serves fresh New-York style bagels that I swear taste from New York City; these are probably my gold standard for bagels. Sandwiches are large and generous in their meat and fillings (highly recommend the turkey avocado sandwich), and there is a large selection of cream cheeses in the fridge next to where you order. The coffee is not good, so head next door to the Starbucks if you want some java while you eat.

I went to the House of Bagels in Mountain View today, and ordered a toasted cheddar bagel with cream cheese, and a coffee. The coffee was lukewarm as it was at the end of the pot and I didnt notice this until I got into my car and drove off... I had a jacket on the cup, and couldnt tell the temperature. The bagel wasnt toasted, it was merely warmed. Not only this, I had to ask the lady behind the counter to cut it in half for me, as she had already wrapped it, uncut. This is not good.Its the first time Ive been here, and I doubt I will go back.

This is the closest I have had to a bagel in this area. Im not really someone who insists ____ food is only good in ____ location. But... it has been weirdly difficult to find fantastic bagels. I love bagels like I love pizza -- I will eat all of them and be happy. But that doesnt mean theyre all created equal.House of Bagels is as close as I have gotten to bagels that have good chew and density without being hard or dry. I can get pumpernickel here!! I didnt realize regular stores here often dont carry pumpernickel bread until I got too excited for the bagels. I love this place and badly need it to stay in business for purely gluttonous reasons.

Food is decent but customer service not so much. I ordered a $ 5.00 bagel which didnt come with cream cheese so I asked for a side of cream cheese which the lady at the cashier say it doesnt come with it. So she said its $1.75 for a side of cream cheese??? Seriously!! When I spend $ 8 on a breakfast you want to charge me $1.75 for a side of cream cheese??? Not coming back here again thats for sure.

Great thai tea. I stop for a cup every now and then when I am in the area. I am more of a coffee person but they do have some nice thai tea and some other great choices. They also have nice bagles which I eat only if I visit at the mornings. The staff are really nice always smiling and cheerfull. I like stopping by

Excellent bagels made fresh daily. Go early as they often run low by mid-afternoon. Interesting variety of bagel flavors but my favorite is poppyseed.

Mediterranean Bagel omlette sandwich was great. I mean, the omelette part was great. The bagel I chose was gross, in texture and in artery clogging heaviness--pesto cheese sounds great, until you realize its a bagel heavily slathered with pesto on top, with an even larger thick layer of melty greasy colby-looking cheese on top. I mean, imagine cubes of melted cheese, not your typical sprinkle of toasted shredded cheese.I was also made the mistake of getting their standard milk tea with boba--way too sweet, tea-strength weak, boba balls slightly overcooked. Still satisfies cravings. Couldnt finish it. Total damage? $10.Recommend? Yes, but stick to your classic bagels at this place. This is no place to feel adventurous

A favorite local goto spot for excellent fresh bagels and bagel sandwiches. The bacon omelet bagel on poppy is a favorite. They also have a nice selection of pumpernickel, rye and other interesting flavors. They have good coffee - I particularly enjoy their French Roast.The counter service is friendly and efficient. Theres a little room for sitting inside, and a little outside by the parking lot. You dont go there for the ambiance - you go there for the bagels.

Everything here is phenomenal. Staff is super friend and the Bageldog is our of this world

Ok people whoever says this is like NY bagels need to chill or actually make a trip to nyc and eat real bagels. This is nothing like it, now are their bagels horrible ? No, they are just medium ranked bagels, not mediocre but just medium ranked bagels really . Also what’s up with the eggs they use ? This is some weird scrambled eggs, pay 6$ for a breakfast sandwich and not even get a real egg lol ?Gave it a shot but no, sorry these are not great bagels and their sandwiches need an egg quality upgrade! If my breakfast sandwich is microwaved then ummmm no thanks!
