Great place to get various import beer. Online order & pick up works pretty well. It says it will be ready in 5-7 hours, but often will be ready within an hour.

One of the best places to go for alcoholic drinks in the Bay Area. It feels like they literally have everything you could ever want. Very clean store and polite and helpful employees.

Best place for trying different varieties of alcohol. You get huge variety of wines, bear, whiskey. There is counter for tasting as well . So you can actually taste it before getting it. The prices are comparatively very less than the market rate . I got a blue label for dollar 143 . Such a steal !

I know next to nothing about wine. Walked in asked a few questions both the manager and his assistant or more than happy to guide me along my path. Attended the soft opening tonight and my Fiancé and I had a great time. Everyone was so courteous and knowledgeable, we sampled great wine, champagne and beer. Local restaurants were there to serve up appetizers and desserts. I will definitely be buying my drinks from here, so many selections...I have opened my eyes to the many possibilities.

They have a decent liquor supply. Pretty good beer selection particularly for ipas, but has some gaps in the German lagers and brown ale categories.Friendly staff.Ice.

Great location right off the 101 Freeway. Wide selection of spirits and cigars as all Total Wine & More are. Help was great, from looking for a good Armagnac > Cigars > Checking out. They were very personable, and I appreciated it.

The Costco of the spirit industry.Total Wine And More has so many different types of wine, beer, liquor and more that you just cant take it all in in one visit. The more you look the more things pop out at you.Located right next to Bass Pros in the new shopping center off of Almaden Expressway.If this place does not have the spirits your looking for, you probley cant get it.Total Wine also has a nice walk in humidor, the selection was JUST OK (Yes people, unless you have been to some of the better Smoke shops in the area...you just will not understand) but for a one stop shopping visit, its kind of cool.The prices are in my opinion are on point.Recommend to all.PS. You should see all the types of beer they have!!!

It has a good selection. Things like apricot brandy, orange Curacao, or large bottles of grenadine are available here. However, for standard liquor like Bacardi rum and other common ones, it is probably cheaper (or at least the same price) to just get it at a supermarket like Target.

Love this place. Everything is consistently priced to hear anywhere else, and theres always somebody mulling about for you to ask where your favorite alcohol is.

Great selection and prices for beer, wine and spirits. As a Shiraz (Syrah) lover the selection is fairly light compared to Pinot and Cab, but overall its still awesome. Great to get limited season craft beers too. Cheaper than BevMo and usually cheaper than Costco too. One of the few places with a great rum selection too!

Love the great selection here and the sales. We got a butter pecan cream and found a great sale on a salted maple cream. Other times weve found that great craft beers and wines.

Had some shopping for an online mixology class. I checked online that Total Wine had everything. The issue is finding things, even with the aisle numbers. There is just so much in that store! Luckily one of the staff saw that I was lost. Within minutes my list was complete, except for the lime 😃. The best part was getting recommendations for lower priced but quality options. Highly recommended.

Ive only been in the wine section, but each time I go, they have friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a great selection. On weekends, they have tastings (for whichever wine they want to promote) for a nominal fee (10 cents) which is a great way to sample before purchasing. Parking can be tough because its right by Costco. They offer wine classes throughout the year for about $20 per person but with reserve level status, usually its 50% off. Classes are informative and fun but the Classroom size is a bit tight.Edit: Now tasting fees are only a penny per person!Edit: Now extended tasting hours - Th:4-7p, F:1-8p, Sa:12-7p Su:12-5pEdit Feb19: decreased tasting hours - F:1-7pm, Sa: 1-7pm, Su: 1-5pm (this totally messes up our Sunday routine!!!)

Managed to find a Swiss wine to go with our Thanksgiving Cheese Fondue. Also some Sauterne and Ice Wine for the sweets. I was skeptical wed be able to find them in the Bay Area but was pleasantly surprised

Don’t listen to the other reviews. The prices are mediocre in many cases, and they don’t have the good vintages in many wines. Sure, they have a large selection, but a lot of the 5-star reviews are from people buying wines that your average broke frat boy would buy for chugging purposes. I initially was excited about the fact they price match and thought I had found a new go-to store, but they only price match within a 10-mile radius, which pretty much limits the wines you can price match to lame, cheap wines. They wouldn’t even price match another shop in the Bay Area outside of this radius. Some of the employees don’t know a thing about wine either. I won’t be coming back here ...

The physical store was good, decent customer service; its the Reward points system that they did not honor it.The 5x point promotion for all WINERY DIRECT wines were going until September 13th, 2020. Ive placed an order on September 13th at 12:08 am Pacific Standard Time, was told by the store manager and he can verify the statement.Unfortunately, the manager does not have the power to adjust the points system; only corporate do manually.After calling in (Ive recorded all incoming and outgoing calls by default), they informed me that the order was indeed placed on September 13th of 2020, but it DID NOT get invoiced until the next day, September 14th of 2020. Because of that, the 5x promotion did not kick-in.And theyve decided NOT to honor it. I will update the review once Ive seen the points have been added back to my account.

Ran in there the other day just to do a quick pick up of a few things. The store is well located and clearly visible, and like other Total Wine stores is large, clean and well organized. One issue I ran into is that their selection is so large, being presented with so many options can really slow down a quick shopping trip. Fortunately, the helpful and friendly staff stepped in to help me refine my search, with knowledgeable commentary on various picks. Would definitely come here again.

This is the smallest Total Wine store I ever visited. Still have a great selection of items. I looked up a few things online and then went to the store to check them out, but everything was in a different place than the online indication.

Large selection of wine and Spirits. Craft brews and cigars. Clean and had s tasting room but it was closed probably due to Covid 19. Prices were on the high side for my liking. But staff was friendly and store was clean.

This location is huge and has a lot of variety, especially a variety of wine. Also a large selection of liquor, beer, cider, and mixers. They have a walk-in cigar humidor. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Parking is normally abundant, but this is a shared lot and can be difficult to negotiate during Costcos peak hours (especially around Christmas).

They were the only shop in the area that stocked a wine I was looking for. Their inventory was accurate, always a pleasant surprise.

Im getting drunk every time through wine and more. It is always a pleasure to go there and pick a bottle of wine or bundle of beer. Its perfect place to visit when you have a hangover as well. Love you

Its located next to Costco. The selection of liquor is way better. There are friendly people working there that help you and answer your questions. The pricing is better than Costco or Bevmo.

I first came across Total Wine when I was in Fremont. They mentioned this place would open up in Mountain View. Its been open for quite some time now. I choose to go here more than the competition. They had a huge selection of wines and spirits. I also noticed they have educational classes on misc. Beer and Wine, if you want to learn more. To add on Fridays and Saturdays for 10 cents you can try misc. Wines they have to offer and sometimes the beer stand is open and you can do the same. I feel its a great place to get everything you need, due its large selection.

Wish we could give them a tip for all their useful information. When lucky we get to beer taste as well. Ive found their price reasonable and is my go to spot for drinks.I highly recommend this store for new drinkers and is a bonuse for experts. LOVE IT

Im recently from the Chicago area and we lamenting the loss of the Binnys chain from that area. My nephew recommended Total Wine over BevMo, and I think he was right on the mark. They have a nice layout and great selection at good prices. Their whiskey selection could be bigger but serves my needs. The staff as friendly and helpful.

One Penny wine tastings? You wouldnt think it could get any better. Well, it does. The selection of spirits is really good, and all the prices are pretty standard or a little cheaper than similar stores.Wine tasting I went to was staffed by Joe. He was very knowledgeable and helped my wife and I find some delicious wines in our price range.

Ignorant manager and rude cashier!! Great store but I will never come back again!! They asked my nephew accompanying me for an id. I was like ???? Luckily he is 21 plus or else I would not have been able to purchase.I respect and embrace the id policy for alcohol but these guys seem to not be able to do it correctly. If u come in with your son to buy a bottle of wine, Good luck!! They will ask him for an id and if he is under 21 u wont be able to purchase!! Whats even worse is thier way of approaching it. If you have a kid, dont come here.Was so excited to find the bottles that I was looking for! Very pleasant employees all helpful and very well mannered. However all of that friendliness evaporated into thin air when I headed to the register only to be carded and immediately told that I could not complete my purchase because my underage sibling was accompanying me.I asked if they could just go back to the car and I purchase the wine, it was not for them anyway, they said no. The cashier was paging her manager, but at that point no customer would want to buy their wine anymore. I told her I didnt need the wine and asked them to put up signage that informed customers of this insane policy. I was told that there is signage outside, here is the signage:No one under 21 is permitted in this store unless accompanied by a parent, guardian of ageNOWHERE ON THIS SIGN DOES IT SAY THAT THEY WILL NOT SELL THEIR PRODUCTS IF YOU HAVE A MINOR WITH YOU.So @management at Total Wine & More, please have more clear signage, be excruciatingly specific, have it outside of your doors in bold letters, hire someone to stand outside and card everyone. It was a total waste of my time to go and be denied service.Never shopping here again.
