Has been a great help servicing the tires on my Kawasaki Vulcan. Generally very quick to respond to inquiries via email. Both thorough and fair in price.

Walter went above and beyond my expectations. He was a pleasure to do business with. He has the best prices in town. I highly recommend going to here for all of your motorcycle needs. This is now the only place I will take my 2005 GSXR 1000. Thank you!- Josh

Put in a bad part to my bike that I provided, but didnt insist I get a different one. Didnt fully test the broken part once installed and it failed immediately. Didnt offer to rectify the repair. Poor communication overall. The install work did appear to be a quality repair job, despite the bad part.

The best and most thorough motorcycle mechanic I have ever dealt with! I have had him work on 4 of my bikes all needing different things from brakes to tires to oil changes. I will continue to use his services for as long as I am able to ride!

One of the best motorcycle service centers in the region. However, do not call Walter asking him to tune or fix your bike over the phone. You will get the worse type of Male-PMS, and attitude! Dont misunderstand me, most motorcycle mechanics are that way... especially around the time of Sturgis. I have used this shop, and recommended all of my friends over the past 20 years. Walter knows a lot about motorcycles. He is sharp, and detail oriented. I saw Walters response to my comment and added additional details.I would have given him 5 stars, but the male PMS cost a perfect rating. BTW people who I referred to his shop in the past are still customers to this day. Overall as a shop his service is outstanding and they have been in business over a couple decades (Previously called: George Deans Cycle Service). I highly recommend him. He is one of the best mechanics around! It is very difficult to find a competent mechanic like Walter due to changes in the motorcycle industry. It is declining, and mom & pop shops like Walters are fading as a sign of the times...

Heres my skivvy on Walter and Seattle Cycle Service - I owe him a huge debt of gratitude, plain and simple. On a weekend ride to Seattle from my home in Vancouver, my Yamaha Seca broke down, and due to work conflicts for both my girlfriend me, we had no choice but to leave my bike at Walters shop - even though the shop was closed. So with some anxiety, I parked and locked the bike outside his doors, and put the keys through the mail slot.If we havent all been in this situation, weve all certainly had a moment or two where we dread being in this situation - leaving a prized vehicle at the mercy of an unknown mechanic, in a country that isnt home, you are pretty much entirely at the mercy of whomever you leave the vehicle with.Well, let me tell you that Walter came through with flying colours - sorry, in deference to America, COLORS. He fixed the issue and fixed it well, and stayed within a completely reasonable budget too, and frankly very quickly from diagnosis to repair. It looks very much to me as if hes fixed what was an ongoing electrical problem with the bike. The ride home was smooth and one of the best Ive had on it, and that wasnt entirely because of how much better the bike rode - it was because Walter was fair, honest, and upfront with me, and charged me a decent and acceptable price to get my bike running again.I would gladly take my bike to him again, and only wish it was more convenient for me to do so.

I was circling the country on KLR650s from Virginiaand also planned to fly from Seattle to Alaska for a week. I needed the bikes serviced in the meantime. After being screwed from random dealers along the way, Walter came recommended by my mechanic in VA. He not only did an awesome job but was extremely reasonable with his rates. He also allowed us to store much of our belongings in his shop. Hes an all-around great and totally honest guy. I strongly recommend Seattle cycle service.

1989 GL1500 -. Effortless;. Walter took our bike, running like a GL750, that had been setting for long time and went above and beyond to get her running like a GL1500. He kept us informed on the repairs needed and met all deadlines that he put in place. Also, the only shop we found that would work on a 1989. Thank you Walter!

Wanted them to install some aftermarket parts and they couldnt figure out how to put on an after market air intake. Not only that but the owner, Walter, lied to me telling me he removed the oem air box and he could see the part would never fit. I went home and with very little experience working on bike I was able to install the air kit myself. The reason I went to these guys is because they claim to have a dyno, but they dont really have a dyno they borrow one from a friend. So they did half the job, charged me almost the full amount, argued with me about a part they were to stupid to understand how to install (Walter admitted as much in an email to me) and they chastised me for wanting to put the part on my bike in the first place. The engine was not jetted correctly and the bike has been backfiring since I got it back from these idiots. Ill never be back to this place and if you need more then a simple fluids check avoid these guys. Theyll ruin your bike.
