We had Safelite repair two small rock chips in our windshield. The initial repair reduced the visible chips slightly, but gave us peace of mind that the damage will not worsen. One week after the repair, we found our vehicle sitting in the driveway with a crack leading from both sides of one of the repaired chips. The chips were in the windshield for roughly 2 months before getting them repaired, with no issue.One week after the repair and we would have been much better off without wasting our money with Safelite. The Safelite warranty on their repair work is to just credit your initial repair cost towards a windshield replacement...but only if they also are doing the replacement. The only way they stand behind their work is if you spend even more money with them to remedy the fix. What a racket.I will absolutely not recommend to ANYONE that Safelite touches their vehicle.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!Two weeks ago we fixed two chips in the windshield, while my husband was there they were incredibly rude. Today I got in my vehicle to realize one of the repairs, after colder weather, caused the whole windshield to crack. I have called to speak with someone 8 times just for the computer system to tell me no one is available and it hangs up on me. The website states if they basically ruin your windshield they’ll give you a refund for the original service. The original chips were tiny compared to over 50% of my windshield now being broken which will cost triple if not more than the original repair. Completely unprofessional company who will not back their own work. I am sure we are not the first customer for them to screw over either, would be a good case for a lawyer to look at.

These guys did a great job! When I arrived they were able to take my car right in. They understood I lived a distance from them so they wanted to make sure I did not have to wait hours before they could get started. They went the extra mile for me!

Very helpful. My windshield had a pretty decent sized chip, took it here for a consolation and price. The man that looked at my car wasnt trying to oversell. Wasnt pushing a sale. When I took my car to get it fixed though, I think they overbooked, and it ran about two hours longer than he originally estimated. But I could tell they were super busy.

Was not able to stay with my vehicle during repair at the shop. There are no windows from waiting room to the shop to watch the experts perform amazingly seamless work and be able to accept unexpected costly repairs. Lets face it, you would want to see what happened in the event this small repair would turn into a full windshield replacement not covered by insurance. Repairs performed mobile are easy to watch and be amazed by how the art is performed.

Quick and outstanding service/work

I took my car with 2 small cracks and left with one of the cracks bigger than when I brought it there. You can still see the cracks (which you are not told up front), they just fill them in which you can do with the patch kit from Amazon for $8. There was no communication that my car was done until I mentioned it and I got to listen to the rude receptionists political views for half the time I waited. Very unprofessional and definitely not worth $216...will not recommend at all.

Dont telephone them for anything! I was on the phone for over 15 minutes. and never did get ahold of anyone to answer my question. I finally hung up. There is a store just 30 minutes away. Ill just go there and talk to a person.

Excellent place to go for repairs if you are a fan of poor-quality work and being called a liar by the manager. Original replacement only lasted a year before an obvious installation defect occurred. When asked about the possibility of warranty fix it was met with hostility. Safelite corporate said it would be covered by warranty due to the nature of the failure, but then the shop refused when the vehicle was brought in. It would be a different situation if they at least adhered to what they were told by Safelite corporate but that is not the case. I would highly recommend another shop if you are in need of windshield repair or replacement in Muncie.

Had to have my windshield replaced. Done quickly and very good customer service .

Just before Thanksgiving, on a Friday, I scheduled to have my windshield replaced. It was set between 8-12 the following Tuesday. Tuesday morning about 9am the service tech calls and says he is in Anderson and has no idea why Muncie gave them the order but that they sent him the wrong parts and it would have to be replaced in the afternoon. He flipped the order back to Muncie and rescheduled for between 12-2pm. About 3pm the Muncie manager calls. His tech is preoccupied and will not be available so we reschedule. I am told that due to all the confusion, I would be the first order out. Around 9 am the service tech calls and says he will be there between 12-2. I said that I was supposed to be scheduled for the and he said that was not how it was turned into him. I went online and checked my order and it showed that I had been scheduled for anytime between 8am and 4pm. Just after 1pm on Wednesday the tech calls and says he is tied up on a job and we are looking at about 3pm. At almost 4 pm the tech calls again and says he is just finishing up but is over an hour away. He offered to come replace the windshield while he is off the clock but what he doesnt realise is that at this point I am off work, waiting at my desk. I have already missed multiple meetings and at that moment I was missing an event at my daughters school. I rescheduled for 8am Friday. I asked multiple times if it would be done at 8 am because I had an important lunch meeting at 11am. Every response was yes sir, we apologise for the inconvenience. Around 9am Friday morning the service tech calls and informs me that he is on his way to his first order and that because of the distance, will probably be to me somewhere between 2-3pm. I immediately cancelled my order. The only positive thing that came from all of this is that I had already paid and I was given a full refund. I honestly feel like if I had not paid in advance maybe the Muncie branch would have been more eager to provide better service.
