Never in my life could any company be ran this way and be respectable..just one more company with a strong hold and few alternatives....
I have to say Ive had my ups & downs with comcast in previous moves but our tech was very knowledgeable and went above & beyond this last time we had him come out and fix the coax cable someone cut. Our internet is running so much faster now
I’m not talking about this particular store but rather Xfinity as a whole. As a internet service provider, I cannot believe that several of their pages including the device-return page are crashed for two months with no one fixing it!Whenever I try to call their number to reach out to an agent, the robot tries everything to not connect me to their agent. Sometimes it even takes more than 10 mins to deal with the robot and it ends up telling you to use the Xfinity Assistant— which is another robot— and then hangs up on you!Xfinity is doing so well getting people into using their services but they try to make it real hard when you have a real problem or try to get out of their service. I seriously doubt that these mistakes/inconvenience are created unintentionally because they’ve been around for so long, and it just doesn’t make sense that they wouldn’t have already predicted and fixed these inconveniences. It’s more reasonable to believe that they just shut down the return page to try to save some shipping money from their customers— and perhaps generate some late return fees.I’m very disappointed with my experience with xfinity and if you are not willing to experience all these again, find another internet service provider :)
They charge for services that you dont get. The quality is horrible and their prices are not reasonable based on the actual services received. They have over charged me on a prior bill, now a few months later they again over charged me. They are crooks and scammers. Dont waist your time with them, if you can get a different service do it.
I work from home. My internet has gone out for.mire than two hours each of the past 3 days and when I try to call the 800 number I reach the automated system. I have been hung up on 3 different times. So I try chat. I get automated responses. I am ready to change my service to a different provider. I am very upset. There is 0 customer service displayed from this company anymore.
First time at the Muncie location. No wait! Very nice people. I didnt hate going in there!
So my bill went from 80 something to nearly 200dollars. This was in a months time frame. Their office shows they are only open on sunday. Where as other companies are open mondays through fridays. One day a week isnt enough to resolve all costumers issues. Muncie needs another cable company to give competition but comcast is preventing this from happening. They are criminals and crooks. If you can get another internet provider do so. Dont waist your time. At first my internet speeds were good, but a few months later they are horrible. Im paying for a service Im not receiving. This is a violation of their own contract. I hate comcast just as 99.9% of its consumers do.
Internet is always going down. Prices are high, and when you call for customer service you cant get real person to talk to you.
Can drive there to exchange cable boxes, ect. Very pleasant people work at the Muncie office

Nice customer service they also have a kiosk to serve yourself which is very helpful when paying your bill, it saves a lot of time.

Switched mobile service over in store, excellent customer service with a knowledgeable agent Jennifer. She set expectations and provided us with all the information we needed for a smooth transition.
Customer service online told us to go to the center in person for a simple issue. They tell us we cant do that at all there. The lady behind the desk acted like she wanted to fight and her manager told us to give her some time to investigate. We waited 20 minutes and she never returned to us so we left and called Comcast back. They fixed the issue over the phone. No reason to drive there.
Purchased xFi pods for extending my wifi. They opened at 10 am Saturday and the line was 10 people long but they work fast. Next time I would wait till 11 am when no one was there. Good friendly service.

This place was a little bit shocking for me it actually felt like I walked into a place that consisted of nothing but people who wanted a b**** and complain about their service. The most impressive part was that the people working there actually maintained their cool the entire time and had a professional demeanor. It seems like every problem that everyone had to complain about was the fact that they didnt pay their bill and then they wanted to blame that on Comcast. I am by no means Comcast favorite customer nor am I even a fan of their service. Regardless of that though each time I walk into the center I am pleased to see smiley faces in it helpful representative at the desk. If they cant get their billing straight at least they have these guys to make them look good in the meantime.
We were told we didnt need a professional installation on the phone and then told the complete opposite in person. Now we have to spend 70 dollars on a professional install, something we didnt budget due to being told we werent going to need.We have to pay 70 dollars for them to check whether or not a modem runs at a certain speed. Sounds like a cash grab to me. Just send the customer a faulty modem every time and require a pro to install every time.
I keep being told they cant help me and my account is severely messed up keep getting hung up on after being on hold for 30 min or longer
The staff at the Muncie Service Center are always very friendly and professional. I have been to this location at least a half dozen times and am always pleased with the service. I have witnessed the staff have to deal with angry, frustrated customers and I am impressed with their professionalism.
Hey comcast! It would be nice if you inform the client that the ID Channel will NEVER be available again BEFORE the client accepts a new promotion! We will be switching to another provider.
Beat way to get help form Comcast they phone line sucks but face to face they are great.
Be aware! Comcast made up false check numbers and withdrew money out of my checking account. Took over 2 months to get my money back. I canceled service and went to Dish. Turned in their boxes have the receipt and they continued to charge me for 2 more months without said boxes and said I never canceled service. This was back in 2014 and Im still fighting with them and Afni...their wonderful collection agengency to get this non sense removed from my credit report. I paid $250 which was a lot more than what my final bill should have been and yet they refuse to update my credit. I despise Comcast and if I could give less than 1 star I would. Ive urged everyone I know to avoid them. I will go without before ever having service with these criminals again.
I would give a zero if I could. Comcast has the worse customer service. I have to call five six times or more and go into the office more than once to resolve any issues. Everyone I talk to says something completely different no one knows how to do their job. Plus CSRs are rude and no not know English well at all. They do not listen and read froma script.

My mother lives in Yorktown, and she is BLIND. Her main entertainment is listening to her television. Her contract recently expired, and her bill went from close to $80 to close to $145. Since Comcast has a monopoly on cable tv in the area, and she is on a fixed income, we will have to figure a way to make up the difference. Since her world is very small now, we have no choice.
My experience was excellent I went in with a bad Modem with in 5 minutes I left with a good modem ready to go awesome job guys..
Staff I dealt with was very friendly. Wait time inside was a bit longer than I expected, but the lady was very friendly and understanding. Customer service from Comcast itself was atrocious. Its been days and the service still onside connected.
For the last three days my remote and internet has quit working, the first day I was able to reset it myself and it went downhill from there! First call lasted 57 minutes but they got it going from their end, even upgraded my package. Second call, had a hard time understanding the rep and she kept telling me to try things that I had already tried, spent 1/2 hour on the phone. Now, I have no internet connection, modem hasnt been touched, this has been going on since the remote hasnt been working, now they have to send out a technician. In saying all of this, Im not happy at all with Comcast, Im paying for a package with phone service and dont even have a landline phone but to get deal on package you have to get phone service. I tried to drop phone, they said it would only take $8 from my bill yet they are charging me $30 and giving me a $40 credit on my account but my bill is still $186, guess Im sadly getting free phone service and a $10 credit toward the other stuff, this seems a little shady if you ask me. Am I the only one who is tired of feeling like theyre getting ripped off? Think Im gonna look for service elsewhere.
I went to drop off payment in the drive up drop box and they did away with itI thought this was a fast and easy way to make a payment on time once in a while when your payday and payment due was a close time
I have been struggling with this company for the past year and a half. My internet service wasnt working properly and every time I would call their agents they would give me the run around and never actually fix the issue. Yesterday, I had had enough and told the man I spoke with that I was through messing with them over the phone and I wanted someone to come to my house. After talking with him for almost 45 minutes he scheduled and appointment for today. The technician arrived exactly 8:30; right on time. He introduced himself as Tom Smith and he got right to work. He was more than happy to explain everything he needed to do. He gave outstanding service. I am overjoyed by his knowledge and professionalism. I will only ever ask for Tom if I need a technician in the future. Im am disappointed in the phone agents Comcast has. If it werent for Tom today I wouldve been switching to AT&T. He has restored my faith in your company. I hope he will be recognized. I give Tom 5/5 and your agents a 1/5. Considering the agents are your first impression I would suggest fixing them.Muncie, IN
Had a little bit of a wait ( which is to be expected), but the person who helped me was very receptive of my issues and walked me through my comcast service and was very helpful in solving my problems. I went in expecting the service to be poor, but I was surprised by the exceptional service I had.

Went to the muncie branch to avoid the awful phone suppor told me service had been set up at my new home earlier this year and I would be able to do a self install for free. They handed me the necessary cables and to no great surprise, service did not work. I wasted an hour on the phone after that, only to be told I need to pay $60 to have a tech come out. Disgusting scam that i should have to pay when THEIR lines dont work.
Best internet, cable hands down. Like any company full of human beings they error. And to error is human so thanks for the hard work you in perfect humans lol. Ive had all other providers no other company is comparable.
Easy process we just had to go pick up a modem, but the CSR on the phone was horrible and tricks you into purchasing more services without being fully aware of the terms!

Very hard working staff. They seemed aware of the Comcast stigma and made the extra effort to make working with them a breeze. Only complaint is the often long wait.
This service is absolute trash. Calling for support is absolutely miserable with the answering machine then when you finally get to talk to someone they just read the script. Our wifi was only reaching about 10 ft in our house and when I called they tried for hours to make me fix it myself. Then when they finally sent someone out they charged us 75 dollars. Our bill went up for no reason an extra 30 dollars a month. I could go on and on but I have to call them again because half our channels are blacked out!

Terrible cable TV but great internet get Internet for $9.95 a month if you are over 62 or get public assistance. Or have children in school and are on the reduced lunch program.
Switched between a few plans and Ive never seen above 1/7th of the promised download speeds regardless of the plan. Of course thats if they dont turn off my internet for an entire week or double bill me one month and just go, whups.
Told me to sign for more faster internet speed..turned out it was a 2 year contract!! This is a nazi company that I cant stand!! They monopolize on all..and consumers have to pay...

Horrible customer service. We switched to XFINITY to upgrade since then 2 weeks ago our system goes down everyday. Customer service reads their scripts that never solve the problem. 3 techs have been out and said they dont know whats wrong!! Well who the hell does know?? know I pay over 200 bucks a month thats going to be going to direct TV or some else. Btw my 19 year old can fix the problem tempraially that the trained techs cant seem to do. My advice. GET YOUR SERVICE SOMEWHERE ELSE! THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEIR DOING!

You have to go to the location and see a real person to get anything done. It is impossible online or by phone, especially online. They are clueless, asking the same questions over and over even though you give them an answer.

I dont normally say any nice things about Comcast because the company itself is corrupt and has downright horrible business practices. But the people that work at this location really do try to help you the best that they can.
My elderly mother in laws cable has been out for 4 days knowone will come out to fix it. Wait time on the phone is 2 hours. I guess you can do that if you are in the United States with no competition or consumer protections.
