I provided diagrams of the rooms that were getting rigid core flooring but no one ever came out to measure. When they got here they started installing the flooring but half way through said they were going to be 100 sq ft short and that I could stop or keep going with the price increase. Of course Im not going to stop when its half done. I got the final bill and it was $900 more than the original estimate. I called and talked to Ron who said he didnt know anything about it but would look into it and get back to me. A week and a half later I didnt hear from him so called back and he would only deduct the price of the carton they took back to the shop and that labor so I still ended up paying $700 over the estimate. When I did the math for the area from the diagrams the installers brought i was only 20 sq ft lower than what they originally quoted me, not 112. Also I had to buy the termination strips and quarter round for the edges and the water lines for the toilets cause the installers didnt bring any and said it was on me to provide, so an additional $150 out of pocket they didnt tell me about. I strongly recommend avoiding contracting through this business.

Beautiful place in Muncie to buy carpet

We ordered carpet and a backsplash here. Carpet came in a little late. April blamed my contractor saying he measured wrong. I didn’t think anything about it. Backsplash came in totally wrong color. We put in a White Island and ordered a backsplash with white in it to tie it all in. This backsplash came in dark brown and gray. When I went in to reorder April told me the new one was cheaper. I asked if my contractor or I would get a partial refund. She said no because it was my fault. There is NO WAY that we picked this backsplash that April ordered. I guess carpetplus is always right and everyone else is wrong! I will forever tell everyone I know to avoid this place! This business doesn’t care about making you happy but only about your money! Take your business elsewhere and avoid the hassle!!

Installation went pretty quickly, except you can see every seam in carpet with fraying at seams now. Did have them come out to see what was wrong. They looked at it & said they would let them know at the office & get it taken care of . That was several months ago. I havent had my carpet for even a year yet

Carl who is there main person who lays their product is awesome at his job. Our carpet he laid is perfect and the kitchen floor tiles are perfect.But, the two guys who came out to put down our laminate floor did a terrible job and within a few weeks it started bowing up in places. When I contacted the store in person they said they would send someone out. Weeks and then months went by then I never heard from them. So went back in and they told me it was because of the type of under flooring we had?? Was not their fault?? Lame due to my husband and his friend 10 years previous had laid the same flooring and had no trouble at all and they are not in this business. The job they did was all due to damage caused by our house fire, which was stressful enough. Plus, if it was not the right under flooring should they not say this needs to be fixed or this type of laminate we are putting down will not work. Just feel they took the money and ran with it not caring if it was done right.

More bang for your buck? Ha! They lie and dont care about their customers. They only want your money they dont even care if your happy with their work. Had a seal leak from the toilet (from their men not installing it properly waited and waited for their plumber guy to call or come never did so I paid out of pocket again for their mistake!! Still waiting for them to come out to check the floors. If it were their home they would be pissed to.

**Buyer Beware**I am a Private Investigator and the Host and Producer of a very popular International show aiding the families of the victims of Unsolved Cases. When I decided to purchase new carpet, I asked my brother to find a place in Muncie where we could get a great quality carpet at an honest price with honest and reliable installers. He went to Carpet Plus in Muncie and was told they have a large piece of precut carpet that they would sell us and quoted the carpet and installation. It was mentioned this space is for a loft above my very large two car garage that we are finishing. We know little about carpet laying, and my brothers impression with the owner was that he seemed honest and professional so we trusted him to get the job done quick and right. I guess we assumed we would also be treated fairly and with respect, but that did not happen. The first time the installers came out, as they were leaving, they rudely explained that it was too cold in the loft so we would need to create a new install time and day. My brother explained we have a very large Industrial Karasine heater that we used to heat the loft while it was being worked on, so asked for 5 minutes to get it turned on as it heats the space very quickly. They refused, and left. So they came back the next day, we had the loft heated and had the windows opened (there are three windows) to ensure it was comfortable for the installers. After bringing in the carpet they packed up everything and then found my brother and said there in a corner there is a board loose that needs fixed so they were leaving and couldnt come back for 4-5 days. My brother asked for a few minutes to simply cut a support and screw the board down, yet they refused and left. This loft had to be finished by the weekend, so I then had to hire another company to come out and do the installation. When we explained what happened with the Installers to the third party installers they reconfirmed our thoughts that we were being treated unfairly. Yet, I had no hard feelings up to this time as I thought it would be no problem to get the installation feedback from Carpet Plus because after all, they didnt Install the carpet. When my brother returned to speak to the owner, which we also had a Carpet Kicker they mistakenly left that we wanted to give back, he wanted to charge us more because of the installers going to our house twice - and he said the cut they brought us that we purchased was actually 4 feet larger than they originally told us. What?? I travel across the US offering kindness to families in need, so this unkindness and pure disrespect is something I am not use to feeling. We paid to have a carpet installed, but that did not happen. All we asked for was a refund for this fee.
