I will never be purchasing from Fastenal again. I needed 6 of the same part. They only had 3. They said the other 3 would be in the next day. Fine. Picked up the other 3 pieces when they were in. Now is where the problem starts. Their online price was cheaper than in store. The 3 that they had in stock were at the higher price, and the 3 that they had to get from the warehouse were cheaper. Except! Then they charged me $8 shipping! At that point, I let it go. I had my parts. I ended up only needing 4, and when I went to return them to the store, they said they couldnt reuturn them because they werent a stocked item! What were the 3 that were on the shelf then!?!!? Absolutely ridiculous. I can get parts for the same price elsewhere online. Never visiting that store again.

I was given a bolt size by a local mechanic and spent a month trying to locate it and stainless steel.I had no idea the store existed. Not only did they have it but they have all 24. Then I explained the situation and they realize the mechanic had told me a metric size and it was really five 16th. They corrected the problem they gave me the right fasteners and save my butt. I was surprised that there is a store like there is here in Muncie Indiana. They were friendly, courteous and reasonably priced. And they knew their parts and what I needed even when I get in. Going back soon whenever I need a bolr
