This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. Ed, who answered my phone was one of the most mean people I have ever met and told me I was wasting his time by asking questions. I feel sad that this was my experience at this company. I will be telling all of my friends not to even consider Smoot Landscaping. Terribly mean, and I’m thankful I didn’t have them come out to do this job. Do yourself and go to Watson’s. Very nice! And much, much cheaper.

Smoot Landscaping just completed a pretty big job at my house that included the instillation of a large bubbling rock in the front of the house. It was phenomenal! They installed a smaller bubbling rock in my back yard last year. That job was top notch as well. I’m sure we will find something for them to do again in the near future!

Apparently only one person there knows how to add or convert feet to yards. I called to get a price on a driveway that is 10x60 (I received 2 quotes prior to calling Smoot with no issues) and the guy could not give me a price and didn’t know how to convert yards / feet and ask me to do it!!??He said the girl that does that was on vacation!! I asked if someone else can give me a price and he said no!!??So when she is gone, no one there can add or take care of a customers questions on price.I went to IMI and got 300.00 worth of gravel. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, TRY HIRING SOMEONE THAT HAS A CALCULATOR THAT CAN ADD!!!Howard Mayse

Smoot Landscaping built an inground pool for my family. The entire team did an excellent job throughout the project. No matter the challenges or request the team was professional, communicated regularly, and worked diligently to complete the project on time and to our satisfaction! I would highly recommend Smoot for your swimming pool or landscaping needs.

Made a call in to see if they preformed sod cutting services to form a garden. Was told yes and put on a week wait for the appraisal. We were called back later because the company needed to push back the appointment another week or two. We set an appointment, and called to confirm the appointment the day of. Next they call us back telling us their sod cutter is down and that we could rent one from another rental company to run ourselves. Would have preferred to have been told that the service was no longer available to us sooner instead of calling an hour before the appointment to cancel with us. Now weve wasted 3 weeks waiting for help from this company for nothing. Should have known better than to had gone through this company, as my neighbor got bad quality dirt from them last year for their garden, and returned it.

Had my kiddos with me, they offered to take my payment over the phone so I didnt have to get them both out. Appreciated that. Timely service!

Scheduled for an estimator to come out, and two days before I get a voicemail cancelling our appointment, no explanation just that they pushed me back a week. Called to inquire why and gentleman said what do you mean why? I explained that they coming hinged on many other things that I had already had appointed. He, I believe his name is Dave was very nasty and put me on hold. Then I talked to Drew, and she nearly cursed at me. Yes, I was upset because this made everything tumble and fall. Again I inquired why I got pushed back and was given no reason. Drew tried gaslighting me and making it out like I was the one being unreasonable. I would have been a first-time client and had so many other projects that I needed done. Not only will I never call them again oh, I will tell everyone how badly they treated me. At the end, instead of blowing me off for the next 7 days Drew tells me that she could have someone come out tomorrow. And so if that was the case really then why try to push me 7 days back to begin with. As a business, we want people to be happy. If the estimator needed to reschedule then her last offer should have been her first. This is terrible! Terrible business ethics terrible customer service. And abuse, gaslighting trying to make it out like this was my fault

Cut new 4000 sq ft driveway may 2020.was not satisfied as 2800 sq ft didnt have #2 stone base as agreed upon. lied to my face .complained that d-way was too soft when wet 4/21. was told guys will fix. never heard back. costing $7k to fix.

They were professionals at each stage of the process from meeting with me for the design plan, getting the estimate to me quickly, starting and finishing the work when he promised, and installing walkways and a patio that were better than I had hoped for. Every member of his crew were skilled, polite, and professional. I highly recommend Smoot Landscaping!

Crew was courteous, hard working and very thorough. We had a water leak that was repaired but left our yard in bad shape. Smoot came in leveled their yard, seeded and fertilized. Price was right and I couldn’t be more satisfied

My husband called to get a consultation for landscaping work. Everything was done timely and started out great. After the consultation, my husband had to call back and see about get a quote for more work that we were thinking about getting done. The next appointment was set, but the consultant told my husband to call him the day of an remind him as that was normally his office day. When my husband called to remind him, he was informed that the consultant would not be out today as his foreman didnt come in. Also told him that we would have to pay for a second consult unless we agreed to sign the contract for the first project we got quoted. What a bunch of shady business if you ask me. I would be fine with paying for the second consult if it had been explained when we set the appointment up. Just seems unprofessional to not mention such a thing. Needless to say, we will not be doing business with Smoot.

My wife and I built a brand new home that we knew we were going to have to do the yard and landscaping. We called Smoot Landscaping and Aaron came out to look at it and give us an idea on design. We wanted something low maintenance and Aaron was very knowledgeable on the plants that were good for us. He drew something up and we were able to see what it would look like before agreeing to have them complete the work. They ended up putting sod down and doing the landscaping. They were very professional and it looked amazing when completed. They went above and beyond what we expected. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to do your landscaping needs!

I had Smoot redo the landscaping in the front of my house. they did a fantastic job. Stan Shaw was a pleasure to work with and really helped decide on which plants and decorative rocks would look best. and the crew that did the work was great. I will definitely be getting them again to do more work, as I go around the house re landscaping.

I stopped in at Smoot Landscaping today to inquire about a job. I Spoke with the HR person on the spot and he explained the job I was interested in and also gave me an opportunity to ask questions. I feel like he answered all the question I had genuinely and I’m very interested in working there.

They also own several rental houses. Dont expect to ever get your deposit back, especially if you move out of town. I called several times and gave the woman who answered the phone my mailing address so they could send me a receipt or my deposit. Six months later, I have yet to get either one. And this is how they treat those who take care of the property and pay rent on time.

I would just like to say Smoot Landscaping did a great job with our snow removal. I highly recommend them!

She really went above and beyond to come out and look where I wanted the sand to go and made sure it could happen also price was low and affordable compared to others. Came out to quote project and after a week I didnt hear from anyone on quote so I called and was told they are very busy and should have something by the end of the week. So waited another week and still no quote. I called again and was told they were very busy and if I dont receive anything from Aaron (person that was quoting) in two days to call them again. Here we are two days later, with no quote....why would i call for the third time for a quote? I shouldnt have to chase a company to give them my business.
