Great selection of of quality foods. Very clean and relaxed environment. A refreshing shopping experience overall. Id gladly pay a little more for groceries if it keeps me far away from the insanity of a Walmart.

First time going here and I liked it despite the pricing!! They have a lot of produce that I havent seen at other stores in other states, they dont disinfect between customers or enforce wearing masks. There is a sign on the outside just suggesting to wear one. Cashiers dont seem too nice thats for sure & one kept trying to push candy on my child after I had already told her the answer. Its an interesting store in my opinion but they need to work on their customer service.

They have ALL the good stuff. Try nee snacks and treats from other countries. This is one of my favorite grocery stores ever. Have fun!!

The variety of spices is amazing. The sausage selection is great. Stay away from their fresh fruit. Literally every time its bad. I think Ive thoroughly looked everything over and its still somehow bad.

Has what I need. Downside is that everything feels a bit dated and run down, but its a pretty old establishment from what I can gather. Main selling point is variety -- you can get good stuff from lots of different world cultures here, not just the American and maybe Hispanic and Asian that you see at chain stores.

Vegetable and fruits were first rate and beautifully presented. Wow. Just wow.

This place is amazing. Its absolutely massive and the selection is astounding. They have loads of international foods and ingredients you cant get at most stores. Great produce at best prices Ive seen in the area. Every employee I talked to was incredibly friendly and helpful. My only warning is that, because its big, it can be hard to find specific things (flour can be found in the baking section, Polish section, Mexican section, etc depending on the type). New go to store, though.

Selection is great with produce. Other items are a bit pricey. The checkout girl was just plain rude. You could tell she didnt want to be there and actually told me to wait because she was checking her phone.

Love this place. They have many hard to find ethnic items and more. Prices are fair, their meat and fish counter has plenty of dressed, marinated and special cut meats and fish. They clean fresh fish as well! their staff are super friendly. Store is clean and well stocked with veggies and fruits from all corners of the world.

If you want great produce this is the place to go. They have things I havent seen in other stores. They have a spice bar with spices from all over the world, that taste better than the spices that come in those expensive little jars. I recommend this store to anyone looking for great produce, and many items not found in other srores.

I shop there at least 3 times a month. Love the deli and all the European frozen pastries and fresh cakes. Great selection of produce, best prices too. I also visit the Eyebrow threading place inside and back of the store $9 for perfect eyebrows!

They usually have what we want at a good price. We also like their wide variety. The place can be crowded and they like to have a lot of displays in the aisles which doesnt help. They do require masks and have dividers up at the registers.

The selection available here is impressive, especially when it comes to regional or ethnic foods not available at more conventional grocery stores. Despite complaints by other reviewers of rude staff, I found them to be as friendly as any other grocery employees youd come across.

This store has the widest variety of ethnic food Ive ever seen. Entire aisles devoted to polish, Greek, Japanese, hispanic, German, etc. The only downsides are that it feels a bit dingy, labels are often in the original language so unless you are familiar with the item you may end up surprised, and finding traditional American grocery store items is tough (ie soda). That being said, my family makes special trips just to get items unavailable elsewhere. So happy a place like this exists.

This market is pretty good for people looking for international food. There are a lot of products we only find there. Although I have to say the Naperville unit is 5 stars!

In my area of the northern Chicago suburbs there is no grocery store with as much selection of foods and brands from all over the world. Grocery stores have never exactly been my idea of a great place to spend my day, but this one has so much unusual stuff, I sometimes find myself wondering around just to see what wierd things I can find. Just dont expect great customer service. Grumpy customer service is the rule in my experience. But its otherwise clean and well stocked.

Many things are more expensive here. Often busy. Very fresh produce. Not enough front end staff. Unable to find the Maxwell Street Polish Sausage that Costco has.. Garden Fresh seems to have exclusive relationships 2 other sausage companies, neither of which are located in Chicago. Not very authentic. Sad.

I just wanted to say, check up on all your new young teens. If I could rate it a 0 I would. Everyone should feel as if they’re treated with respect, the one girl I will be complaining about, has a real staring problem. I just hope that her parents taught her to treat others with respect, I hope the next time I go there, she has a warning. Not that I only have a problem but, others in the atmosphere felt the same.

I love Garden Fresh Market. Vegetables and fruits are plentiful and cost less, much less then other grocery stores. The have a wide selection of international food. I dont bother going to the asian markets in Chicago, and will only go, if I need to buy something exotic like Balut.

I bought some mayonnaise on sale for $1.00 and it was expired and that same day I went to return it and they said the whole reason it was on sale was because it was expired.

Our go-to place for fresh veggies and fruits, as well as asian and mexican items. I like that they have a variety of veggies that most other stores dont carry. Chicken thighs and legs are almost always cheap too.

The only place I can find bjorek, the biggest variety of fresh spices, best produce, and the meat is much better quality than usual store chains.

I wouldnt buy meat here, but everything else is of good quality and variety: from Eastern European to Western and Asian food. Their liquor, wine, and beer collection is also pretty impressive, although not the most affordable in the area. Friendly service and spacious parking complement this establishment.

Very crowded. 2 carts cannot pass each other in the isle. It does have a very nice meat market. You cannot move in produce, but it looked good. I might try again, but it was a bit on the costly side to have everything crammed together.

I love to see more stores caring different cuisine around the world and I found some items not available in many stores and not overpriced as you would expect for rare items. There is little bit of everything around the world. Besides that produce section speaking well, in addition, fresh grounded spices spreading inviting aroma round. I wish to give a five star rating however there is some issue with cashiers and long lines waiting beside minor things and doesnt mean to not visit and explore, but otherwise.

Great store.. but they really abused on over pricing skirt steak (arrachera). I understand the inflation, the shortage and season but these prices are way out there..I went else where

I absolutely love this store as soon as you walk in you just see loads and loads of vegetables spices and fruits.if youre looking for something the store probably has it they just have a myriad of ingredients for all kinds of dishes at real store prices not like the fancy places 😁. I really enjoy all the perks the store has like the spice bar where you can pick as many spices and whatever amount you want and someone will serve them to you and also my favorite favorite is the olive bar.

They really need to hire personnel with people skills that know how to properly answer the phones and can speak proper English! I’ve tried to call a few times to inquire wether they have certain products so that I don’t waste my trip driving 30min to find out that they don’t have it, and I’ve gotten disconnected on multiple occasions or I get someone that doesn’t speak English! I love the store but they need to do a better job on hiring competent employees!!!

This is the place, if you use a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits. The prices are very reasonable. You can buy bulk herbs and spices here as well. They have plenty of different ethnic foods to satisfy most people’s needs.You’ll get twice as much for a lot less than your neighborhood Jewel.

I love this grocery store. I like a lot of exotic foods by Midwestern standards, and I can usually find the specific ingredients im looking for here. I like that they have the isles separated by cuisines/countries. I always see a lot of immigrants of various countries which tells me its probably fairly authentic. If youre looking for Kraft Mac n Cheese and Oscar Mayer Wieners this place isnt for you, however, if your tastes are a little more adventurous you should give it a try.

Spices, produce and imports galore! This store has such a wide selection of products from all over the world. My favorite part is the spice bar! They have mounds of spices just waiting to be used, you can get as little as a teaspoon to as large as they can supply. They also have a large produce department that is stock continuously through out the day.
