Went there to get landscape rock for my upcoming pond project. Their pricing per pound, is amazing. All the staff was incredibly friendly. Got excellent pricing for delivery of the larger rocks too big for my truck. Look forward to doing business with them again soon.

Called at 9:45 PM after a serious flash storm caused a large tree to fall on our home. After contacting our insurance agent, we called Sawvell. We expected a voicemail and to simply get on the list for a return call tomorrow. I was pleasantly surprised to have one of the owners, Christine, pick up and, with empathy and concern, assure me that she would be in touch with her foreman tonight and that he’d be in touch with me either tonight or first thing tomorrow and would handle the job tomorrow. That immediate and empathetic response is exactly the response one would hope for. Sawvell has successfully done tree work for me before, but never on an emergency basis. This family owned company just passed the “emergency response test” with flying colors!

Husband and I called a few times to place a deliever order, but no one bothered to return our calls. The person who answered said someone was going to call back or was in the process of calling back and did not want take my information, as they already had my husbands. We wanted to support this business, we live close by, but are turned off by the lack of customer service. Were looking to tackle a big backyard project in the next couple weekends

I would not recommend this. Take a look at this picture... more like wood chips than mulch. Cheap but you get what you pay for. And the mulch smelled like gas or some sort of diesel fuel.

This year I have been really disappointed with the product. In the beginning of the year 2017 i send one of my drivers to get 10 yards and it was really wet color was very faded. I didnt go back until they get rid of that one then we got some more today 5/8/17 and i wasnt happy at all it wasnt processed properly it had a lot a big sticks.

Wow, was just disrespectfully treated by Eric of Sawvell Mulch Company in Mundelein. The Village of Libertyville has hired this subcontractor to fill the holes that the removal of trees has created.Before filling the hole at my neighbors home the crew had thrown their plastic water bottles and other garabe into the hole. I asked the supervisor if they were going to remove the garabe before they filled the hole. He became agitated and was angry because I lived in Libertyville and was being disrespectful of him. How about respecting the environment. If I could give this company less than a star I would
