I went to Michaels looking for some materials and glow paint for my mask and to make something for Halloween and I found a few things and began to make my ice spear from The game of thrones at least my version of it.

They have a lot of items for arts and crafts supplies. If you’re an artisan or art enthusiast, you’ll definitely find anything that you’re looking for. My only disappointment with this store was their carts. All of them had some sort of issue that didn’t let me shop while carrying my daughter in a car seat.

Such a fun place! And I got the help I needed when I had a question about yarn. Good selection of knitting supplies at reasonable prices. Prices seem to vary a lot. Some things, like art paper, is not that cheap. You have to look around. But if you want to make something crafty this is the place to go!

I really enjoyed visiting this location. Store was clean, had Social Distancing in place, people wore masks properly, I found what I was looking for within 15 minutes. I also took advantage of the T-Shirt special of buy one get one at 50% off & they had my size in vee neck style. Waiting line went quickly, cashier was polite and friendly. I definitely would hope back to this location if I was in the Homestead area.

Great variety of merchandise for art, crafts, school/ office supplies, home decor, custom framing for artwork and more.

I went in looking for yarn, but there was so little inventory and they certainly didnt have what I was looking for. Otherwise the store seemed to be clean and orderly. I didnt buy anything and needed no assistance so I cannot speak about the staff.

Micheals is always awesome, love the reward program just a few items they dont have but its ok its pretty specialty things.

Nice decently sized store. Well organized and well kept by staff.

Staff was unfriendly and rude, treated me like an outsider because it was my first time shopping at a craft store. Made me feel very uncomfortable -- a difficult thing for anyone to do.

I am a beginner at yarning. I was lucky to have Meg help me. She educated me about options in what kind of yarn to start with, explained the different kinds of needles, and introduced me to a loom. She even gave me a tutorial on how to use it. The one-to-one attention was something you just don’t get anymore. It was so helpful. Thank you, Meg. I’m off to a fun start thanks to you!

Michaels is a great craft store. You can get lots of crafting items there. I just wish they had more candle making items. Maybe because of Covid19 their candle supplies are low. I was shocked to see they sell fabric now.

Very little help. Cashiers willing to help more then those on the floor. Not much selection but I did make a few purchases so all in all it was a success for me got what I needed!

Had everything I needed, and everything was very easy to find....the clearance aisle was especially awesome! I spent WAY too much there, but not bc it was expensive....everything is priced as if it were on sale! And thats why I spent so much....I filled up my cart!!! I 😘 Michaels!

I spend a lot of time in here i just wish they took competitors coupons like joanns and hobby lobby! But reward vouchers are incredible if yore a loyal customer!!!!! I go maybe 3 times a month spend from 20-110 doll hairs and get sorties 35 dollar vouchers consistently. Which is free money! And you can use it with your michaels coupons and save save save!

Thought the variety would be better since they bought Pat Catans. Only one subject available, mostly craft and paint. M.S. and cane accessible. ✊🏾

Had to wait 37mins to do a return. Where 9 people in line. One cashier. During wait saw at least 3 other workers walking around. Noone could care less about customer service

Very nice and helpful staff. They helped me carry a bunch of frames out to my car. When I got home I discovered one was broken and they let me exchange it very easily!

They didnt have what I wanted so I ordered it @Amazon for much cheaper.

The manager Natasha ask me if I had a mask I explained to her that I have a health condition and I don’t wear a mask and I had my paperwork from my Doctor ..Then she told me next time to stay at home and shop and then went and then went to the front of the store and got on the intercom and said if you don’t have a mask shop onlineThat is very unprofessional!!

This is a good-sized stores with a variety of craft goods from beads and scrap-booking to paint supplies and holiday supplies.

I love this store.. The employees are always friendly and knowledgeable. In my last experience the cashier paid attention to my items. We discussed why I was purchasing the items. She then informed me of some equipment that I needed were on sale for great price. I was very happy and even though I wasnt planning make a large but i did.

Typical trip to Michaels. Theyve added fabric to their inventory, but their yarn inventory has shrunk.

Got an ad for fancy sewing scissors for making covid masks on clearance available in store, went to the store to purchase item, item wasnt there. ended up buying other things which is probably the purpose of these sales to begin with and now i feel like a dupe.ugh.bummed.hats off to all the front line workers... they were great.

Has exactly what you need when it comes to art supplies n such. The store is always clean and in order. There always seems to be good deals to take advantage of and the employees are always helpful when it comes to finding what you need. Also, easily accessible, as its one of the first shops in the Waterfront you drive past if you enter a cross the bridge.

Theres always something to buy at Michaels. :) Found a few more projects that I want to start.

Found everything I was looking for...

I couldnt find what I was looking for and they were severely understaffed. I tried asking one of the workers for help but they brushed me off because they were too busy. I walked out with half of what I came looking for and had to order the rest off their website. Felt very frustrated leaving

Over the past two months, Ive visited this Michaels Arts & Crafts location several times. As a technologist by daily trade now, I usually utilize any organizations online ordering features.All that said, Im thoroughly impressed in a number of aspects!I was welcomed into your location (critical plus for proper client service there). I was, easily, able to locate an associate to ask a question on my first visit. As soon as I shared that I was a former Michaels CCF, your custom framing shop staff began, appropriately, speaking my language.To this very day, I thoroughly enjoy the memories of the time I myself spent at Michaels Arts & Crafts. Perhaps most importantly though, its heartening to know that memories arent forgotten by your organization either.

Always a lovely place to pick up some things for doing crafts. They also have lots of stationary, pens, markers, and crafts for kids. Theres almost always some kind of sale on something you will probably want to pick up.

I really love Michaels, but damn I never knew finding an employee on the floor to help you was this hard. Ive had to leave the store empty-handed due to no one available to assist me. This type of experience send to be the norm with the majority of the waterfront businesses. I love Michaels, I now stay away from this one... Shame

Theyre so nice and helped me pick out things to decorate a poinsettia (which Ive never had a poinsettia before so needed guidance) they even waited for me to check out 10 min after closing. Thanks Michaels staff!

We shop here a lot. We have a 15 year old who loves to make t shirts. She has her own heat press and other shirt making contraptions. It would be nice it you would sell more products for this craft. Your selections are limited. Your staff is not very knowledgeable about it. We have to go to a large distributor to buy product for her.

Love the store. Great variety of items. The reason for only 3 stars is because I had a bad experience twice with the same rude gentleman employee in the frame section picking up an online order and the other reason is I picked up an online order for a 5 pack of t-shirt transfers, got home and seen it was taped shut so out mustve been a return. After opening out I seen there was no t-shirt transfers inside and was replaced with plain white printer paper. If they receive a return that was obviously opened, why would you put out back on the shelf to resale!!!!

The staff is super friendly and the store is clean, bright and well organized. The prices on some items can be a bit high, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5, but they carry a wide selection of all sorts of crafts. If you cant wait for the mail, you will most likely find what you need here!

Very nice store

There are super interesting things sold here. Everything you need to develop your creativity and manifest it. The prices can be better, but you can find items on very attractive sales. The staff is friendly and willing to help. The cashier even included a cupon in our purchase which we were not aware of but applied an extra 20% discount on top of the items on sale we bought.

I went into this location and asked the cashier Bonnie for suggestions on what I could use for a pin board. She was happy to walk me to the section personally, give me other ideas, and add some sparkle to my project. So happy with the excellent customer service and to have creative associates helping out.

Great sales on frames and a decent variety of other items.Bought a frame, glass cracked during transport, and was told it was store policy to not accept returns for the scenario. Manager was kind enough to offer an exchange for another frame. I dont normally review, but this gesture deserves recognition. Thank you for the favor!

I like this location in particular because the staff are always very friendly and helpful. I often have NO idea what Im doing when I take up a new craft, but employees make it easy for me to find what Im looking for, even when I dont entirely know what I need, myself. :)

I go like to shop at Michaels esp. this store at the water front. My only complaint is I think the prices are higher than when Pat C atans was in business. I still like the way Pat Catans displayed their made up forals . Just my opinion. I will still shop at the Michaels but miss Pat Catans.

Love this store. Go in for one thing walk out with a bag full. So many decorating ideas for Halloween, Christmas, Fall, Winter & Weddings etc. If your not crafty you will be when you walk out!!

If you craft, you HAVE to check out Michaels. Lots of stock and ideas to get you where you want to go.

Always have the simple things I need. Small can of paint, etc.
