As long as youre chipper and talkative, the owner is also. It flooded guys and its covid season. Lord knows time are tough....could things be discounted?! Absolutely. Someone with a keen eye for quality control and organization needs to help that man out. Hey Richard! I m willing to turn that store around and payment is negotiable !! Hint hint!!!

Used to be a great place, not anymore. After browsing for a few minutes fully intending to spend as unfortunately they are the only place around that cater to particular demographics in the area, I was told by the owner that if I wasnt going to buy something then I needed to leave as they were extremely busy even though I was the ONLY customer in the store. I used to recommend this place to everyone in the community, but never again.If you want to be rushed to make a decision before even getting a chance to look at the selection then I guess this place would still be for you, but if you are like me and want to make sure that you are choosing a quality product and not something that you will end up being unhappy with dont waste the trip.I honestly feel bad for the employees that have to work for such a person. Originally I was greeted by one and she was quite friendly, but shortly after I began browsing she was sent away by the owner. I will never go into this place again and make sure that everyone that I have told about it is warned.

First thing I noticed when I walked in was the musty dank moldy smell and how dark and creepy it was in there. The only person working was this older man who made me very uncomfortable. I got a pair of shoes for a costume I was planning and the fake leather started peeling off like a couple weeks later the shoes before I even could wear them. Waste of 75 bucks and not worth the horrible experience at all. Bad vibes and bad product.

I had a wonderful visit here today! The sales woman was very friendly and since I really didnt know what I wanted she tried to show me everything! I picked 3, short, tight dresses to try on. The third one was a winner. A spaghetti strap number that is about mid-thigh and will show some cleavage.

A group of eight of us went to The Outer Skin one Saturday evening, looking for outfits to wear to a party. Upon entering, we asked the older man at the counter for help locating a particular item we had seen on the website ahead of time. He glanced at the picture on the phone and grumbled, “If we have it, it’ll be over there,” while pointing to a large wall, filled with various items. He wasn’t very helpful and I chalked it up to his not feeling comfortable helping several women pick out lingerie.The real issue began when my friend actually found the outfit she was hoping to purchase. We went to the dressing room and she tried it on. It fit perfectly and she had all intention of buying it, when she noticed there was a slight tear in the back near the lacing and a mark on it from what looked like permanent marker. Disappointed, we took the item to the front desk to ask if they had another, similar item for purchase, since this one was damaged.The man glared at me and scanned over the rest of the possible outfits we had laid out on the counter with the intent of trying them on in the fitting room. He stared at me and stated, “I looked these things over. I don’t want to see no tears when I get them back.” I was astounded! Was he REALLY implying we had torn the previous outfit? We’re 30-something year old professional women, not rowdy teenagers. At no point had we been boisterous, disrespectful or done anything to give the impression we were there to cause harm. I responded, “Are you implying we ripped the last one?” He refused to make eye contact. It was at that point we gathered our belongings and all eight of us left the store.Each one of us entered The Outer Skin with the intention of spending money. There is no way to exaggerate how rudely we were all treated. Going forward, we will be sure to take our business elsewhere.

Nice place. Just spent 144.05 and couldnt be happier. Great service. Nice selection. Will definitely be back. Update. Just dropped another 305.00 here about a month ago. Still, couldnt be more pleased.Update. Dropped another 300 still couldnt be happier.

An old man was the only person there when I arrived to browse and get ideas for my girlfriends birthday. He tailed me room to room like he thought I was going to steal things. When I tried to take a picture of a flogger I thought she might like he demanded I not take pictures. When I asked him why he only reiterated and said to leave if I didnt like it. So I left. Go to Lolitas or Sassy Sensations, youll be better off for it.

Every time i come here it’s an older man working. He’s miserable. Even kicked me out bc I had to take a phone call while I was in the store shopping. Not being loud or anything. And no one else was in the store!

First off, the store itself has an extensive selection of really cool stuff. Struck up a pleasant conversation with the clerk who even phoned the owner to help answer a question I had. While he was watching, and having asked him for permission first, I took a single photo of an item with my phone. Then I returned to browsing. Five or so minutes of minding my own business later he approached and angrily ejected me from the store for taking all those pictures and kept barking at me to get out even as I complied without argument and was heading (very nervously) for the door. Maybe its a great store and maybe he just forgot to take his medications or something, but that was some hardcore unstable and scary behavior from the staff.

Very cool store. Lots of unique adult items and tons of great outfits. Highly recommend.

The old man there is so rude. He follows you from room to room like you are a criminal. He just stares at you and gives off a creepy vibe. A nice store if not for him.

In my opinion the selections are alright at best. It is unfortunate the clothing inventory does not carry many things for men. On an upside, they do carry a little more fetish stuff than places such as Adult Mart, but a lot of their regular accoutrements are the same generic products you can find at many adult stores.It is unfortunate that they dont seem to want to update their inventory to popular fetish brands especially when online shopping is so convenient to find more specific items.The other reason why this place rubs me the wrong way is the older gentleman who is there. I do not know if he works there or is the owner I just think he should retire or quit. He does not seem to know many things about the products he sells or even cares. From my own experience and several reviews on here it seems me makes many customers feel unwelcome in the store.My hopes is that some more knowledgable people, who are more into the lifestyles to which this store is trying to cater to, will be brought in so that they can interact and offer better quality customer service than this one horrid elderly gentleman.

Past 2 times I’ve come during business hours and it’s closed w no one answering the phone. I’m livid. So unprofessional but there r a list of rules 4 customers 2 adhere 2 at the door. It’s also pretty dingy inside

I actually found the owner/clerk quite friendly and helpful. My ladyfriend and I stopped in for some replacement parts, and the gentleman showed me his wares, and we made a choice.

The hours posted on the store are 12-8. I dont live very close. I made a point to get here right around 12 so that I could avoid busy times and traffic getting back home. It is now almost 1 and the store has yet to open. I have waited because as I said I dont live close. This is ridiculous. I also watched another couple pull up, try the door, ring the bell and eventually drive away.

We were looking at items with intentions to buy when the older shop clerk yelled at me having a drink (an item I brought into the store under no secrecy and took several drinks from in front of him before) he told me and my husband to leave an yelled at us saying we were never going to buy and screamed at us to leave. Also called us losers and said we had no money.

Man at counter said the thing I bought was plus size and it wasnt and said I couldnt return it even tho I hadnt put it on.

We wanted to look around before we bought. Every intention of buying something that day. I guess us browsing made the owner assume we were just looking he was very nasty and unreasonably Curt. Was a loyal customer. Never going back!! Hes very ignorant if he thinks your not buying...

So, it 2:45 on a Monday and I’m outside of the outer skin. The store appears to be closed. The only paper on the door is a 30 day water shut off notice for around 2k.

The man working the counter was one of the rudest people I have ever met. I will never go back. I have heard from several people since that this jerks behavior is normal for him. Find somewhere else to shop.
