Very interesting and random store in that it had random things. Prices are decent. Store is organized for the most part and clean. Staff are friendly. Location is great and parking is ample. I appreciate their efforts in keeping public safe during this Covid pandemic. I will be back

Always find great things in the store. It helps design your own place on budget with some items you find good deal. I find some products are cheaper at big lots then other stores including Walmart. I love there air fresheners and great price for cat toys, treats and toys for my fur baby. Dont like how rewards set up. Dont shop there enough to take advantage of the rewards they offer.

The store manager, Nader, and all the employees went above and beyond to help my son and I with our purchases. Nader helped my son with the purchase of a couch and recliner. (We also purchased several other items). He was very personable and welcoming, as my son is new to the area. He helped us with the delivery and return of the couch as it would not fit through the apartment door. He made sure we were happy with the purchase of the recliner. I only went here because the Dollar tree was closed. I went looking for rubberbands. Nothing. The cashier was a wreck. Short haired blonde lady. She asked me for my phone number & Big Lots card 3 times. She was busy flirting with the guy employee behind the counter. Im guessing that was more important than my business. No worries. I shall go elsewhere.

I love Big Lots and always recommend it to people. This one in particular gets high praise simply because the staff here always goes out of their way to help and go the extra mile. They saw me looking for a chair and helped me find the perfect one for my situation. When it was out of stock, they offered to call several other stores in the surrounding area to help me find one. Genuinely kind and helpful folks who dont get enough credit. They have great finds for great prices whenever I go there, and its my kids fav place for toys and pool stuff. Its also the best at Halloween and Easter.

I went to big lots a few weeks ago for some patio furniture, since they always have the best deals on that type of thing. The table I originally wanted was out of stock, but I went ahead and bought my 2nd choice, which was slightly larger but still seemed like it would work. I felt guilty asking them to check the back room for tables, since there was only one cashier working and a line had started to build behind me, but the cashier kindly asked if he could ring up the people behind me while they pulled out my table, which made everyone happy.The reason this place really gets 5 stars though is the way they helped me out after my purchase. A stock room associate rolled the table out to the curb so I could bring my car around, but we quickly realized there was NO way the box would fit in my car. Rather then just tell me “tough luck,” the associate grabbed another employee to assist. They worked together to open up the box and remove the individual pieces of the table to load them into my car, and they miraculously got everything to fit! The staff could have easily been annoyed, but instead they enthusiastically went the extra mile to make sure I could take home my new table. I was able to have family and friends over to celebrate my graduation that night, and having my new patio setup really made the night.Thanks again to the awesome staff at Murray Big Lots! You have made a forever customer.

I like it alot. Alota big lots is what I like, the cashier was new and slow and had no support from management and felt really uncomfortable ringing customers

Lots of items to choose from and if they have a sale or promotion going on you can get things for a great price. They do also send out coupons out regularly. I bought a sectional yesterday when they had their buy more save more event and it was a great deal. Everything was super easy and simple, and I was super happy with my purchase. My only complaint was a staff employee named Nader. He has no people skills, was extremely rude and made us feel so uncomfortable. If I ever stop coming to big lots it would be because of him. He made my experience very unpleasant. Every other employee was friendly and easy to work with, eventually we had a young lady take over and she was tons better. I wish I got her name, she has wonderful customer service skills!

This Big lots on the east side is pretty decent I found some carpet deodorizer for only a dollar usually they are like three to five dollars have some good deals on dishwashing detergent as well

Big Lots has changed over the last five years.Their selection is not as big as it once was.The store was clean and well kepted, the shelves were well stocked.

Good deals on outdoor lighting right now! Buy 2 get 1 free decent selection of new goods as well.. seems to be improving on quality

Staff here are very kind and the prices very reasonable. Machine wasnt accepting my card the other day, as it was a new one, and the lady at the register covered me for $2. She didnt have to. :-)

I had an amazing experience with my boys here. Even with the very uptight older women working in the furniture department. Then she ended up checking us out at the end. Not sure if she just has a perma b face all day or what. Lighten up! I even tried to crack a few jokes and heard crickets coming out her snarl. Shorter greyish blond hair, again cheer upI was able to get myself in, get exactly what we wanted and for a great price. The store was very tidy and the layout seemed simple to find what you want.

I ordered some beautiful serving bowls and 1 platter online. The bowls arrived in perfect shape, but not the platter. I went to their store for a no hastle return....and even picked up another couple of items.

It was good & I miss having a Big Lots in my neighborhood In SLC It was in downtown please bring one back to our community. I have to travel so very far now. If I didnt have a car I could never get to Big Lots. Downtown area people could walk or take a bus to get to Big Lots. Youve lost a lot of customers. We have a lot of young urban & students in that area. I seldom get to Big Lots now & a lot of my neighbors dont even go any more since we lost the downtown store.

Big lots is amazing, got a king mattress set for a great deal they deliver and take old bed, housewares, sheets and rugs, pet & cleaning supplies, makeup, snacks, this place is great!

I always find something great here! Christmas deco was anywhere from 25 to 50 percent off. The narwhal was a Total steal at $10!!

This store is always so clean and well organized. The associates are so helpful and knowledgeable about all there products. Nader and Terren plus Melinda are the absolute BEST!!!! So kind, and professional! Even if Big Lots didnt have what I was looking for Id still purchase something else because they make my shopping experience so great!!! Picked up the 4 Christmas tree I ordered online. No problem. Cashiers were friendly.

Lots of empty shelves. One season is ending(too early in my opinion). And another is beginning. But they had some Halloween stuff too and it is definitely too early for that! But they did have a couple summer things i needed.

They have a lot of good prices especially on holiday stuff.

Clean, and great prices. Did a quick run for a bday gift, it was affordable and easy to find things. Great place to pick up a last minute gift.

Though the shelves were a bit barren from the pandemic, bargins were found throughout the store. I didnt find a particular curtain rod I had found there awhile back, I found everything else I needed plus more. The sales assoc. Were helpful and very nice, as always.

It used to be a place where I could find all the things I wanted good prices.Now the sizes are smaller and the prices arent any anything unusual.

The sales associates arent very friendly and theyre not willing to show you where items are they kind of keep them themselves to do their job of putting things away in such but they dont bother helping you they just kind of keep to themselves and I think that they should work on their customer service skills to the public.

Always love big lots, they have lots of stuff at a great price.

I enjoy visiting Big Lots from time to time just to see what interesting things they have on the shelves. One never knows what goodies you may find at a low reduced price. More enjoyable to browse in person to discover items compared to online shopping. Plus I get my steps in. Lol

Got some Total Blackout curtains. Very good quality. Provides exactly what I was hoping. Reminds me of the nice curtains at theaters.Used two sets to cover a full wall and another to cover an open closet for my TV room. Looks nice!

Store was good some shelves bare. Drove from downtown to Murray. Ill go back.

Big Lots, quite possibly my favourite store, and the greatest thing thats happened to SLC in some time. Shop here, buy, save to spend later, and try the capers, theyre delicious.

Its well stocked with the the same items I found online. The website is improved. I decorate seasonally so the prices are pleasing. A couple of the items I found were of better quality and more creative than the large craft store I just came from. It was clean and organized, the staff are always helpful if address, otherwise they keep to themselves.

Great place to buy blankets and sheets. But there is always a wait at the checkout stand.If you have never been here, it is worth checking out. They often have great prices on seasonal decor as well as kitchen supplies. I also bought a very nice electric fireplace here for much less than it would have been at a furniture store.

I had to write a review because I promised the gal Aundrea Id give a great review! (Subsequently losing my receipt) So here I go. Store is great. Clean and the location is great! The service was better then I expected. They even helped take my stuff out to my car without my asking.

One of the worst experiences ever. There is an angry little man who works there. Kind of grayish hair, glasses. Gave me so much guff. He said he was helping another customer and explained to me that he would be busy with them until the store closed. This was after I overheard him complaini g about how nobody wants to show up to work and he is stuck doing everyones job. This must be the reason why he was so rude and difficult with me. All I wanted to do was pick up a cabinet that I had paid for a week prior.

Store is clean. I stopped there at least 4 times for product that was on sale. The product was either sold out or the cashier & the particular manager didnt know if it was reordered or what or when it would be coming. Finally talked with Mike (a good manager) & secured the product I wanted. I appreciate Mikes help with this sale. I will contact him in the future. Excellent work Mike!!

This store has nice cheap electronic gear for your phone... Decent phone chargers... Pretty good headphones... Cool novelty Christmas gifts... Its a ok place to browse and shop... Nice furniture too.... Prices are very reasonable....

Typical big lots

1 cashier and 10 plus people in line which during covid would be a very long line. I could deal with that but 2 employees playing on their phones behind a register. Unacceptable in my book. I walked out never to return to Murray Bog Lots.

I am getting better deals in furniture here than Ikea or other furniture stores. Rest I am waiting to actually order stuff so that I can review them too.

Big Lots is a great place to buy so many things! I have been a Big Lots customer for 20+ years. Im happy with their overall offerings, but it seems they have branded so many items and dont offer as many others as they used to.

I grabbed a couple items from Big Lots, for which I do not shop at. The products that I bought I am satisfied with, I would recommend checking this place out once in awhile to see if there is a discount on products that you may use.

Big lots has some great deals! We wandered in one day and came out with a name brand Keurig Coffee maker that was $30 cheaper than all of the other places weve looked! Big lots its a good store if youre looking for a good discount.

So many cute home good items for a good price!

The people there are friendly and helpful. I usually find what I want if not all I have to do is wait a week or so and come back and they have new stock.
