We went to daylight donuts today and first thing we noticed was the smell of fresh donuts as we walked through the door. Super yummy donuts here yall. 🍩🤤

Recommend calling before going to see if theyre actually open.I was in the area Sat around 9:30am and wanted to pick up some donuts for breakfast. Unfortunately, they were closed even when business hours stated they were open. No further explanation on the door. I wasnt too put out and went elsewhere.

Listing says it opens at 6am. Sign on door says it opens at 6am. Handmade chalkboard sign from yesterday saying they were sold out says that they’ll have new donuts today at 6am.It’s 7:20am and there’s no indication anyone has been here at all today.

Service is always prompt even when they have a full house. Looking forward to coming back with my friends. It has a good interior. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.

Delicious!!! The pine cones are like doughnut cinnamon rolls. Would definitely recommend adding to your Saturday morning routine.

Unfortunately, we were not able to try the donuts here. Drove across town because hours said they are open. The door has a sign that says closed, although hours in the door indicate they should be open. Its 9:00am on a Saturday. Is that too late to try and get a donut? Six other people have tried to visit this place while weve been in the parking lot. Need to update your hours if you are not truly open.Read other reviews and this seems to be a reoccurring issue for this location. The owner in response to others says the solution is to call a day prior to pre-order. Lame.

Absolutely LOVE Daylight Donuts. Donuts are always fresh, delicious, and they have a great variety! Will never buy donuts from a grocery store again. I cant say enough good things about this place!

The staff was amazing but thats the only positivity I had. Got a dozen donuts today and the taste was an odd funky taste. Maybe the oil or grease they are using is old or something. The toppings looked great but the donuts seemed somewhat old or stale and that on top of a weird aftertaste makes me bummed out.

There is a wide variety of donuts to choose from and theyre all amazing flavors. The worker was very kind and patient my first time there, I couldnt decide which ones I wanted! The donuts are very affordable as well!

Hours state they open at 6am on Saturdays... Their door sign says the same. It 645 and they are closed up tight. Well I will use a donut shop that posts truthful hours from here on out.

I own a business down the street (Cameo College) and get several dozen doughnuts every other week. The owners are darling and work around the clock to keep this tiny business running on point. I typically call 15 min ahead of time and they always have my order prepped and ready to go. Their Cinch rewards program is AMAZING. Use it. They are very consistent and seem to truly appreciate their customer base. Not to mention... delicious melt in your mouth, never dry doughnuts🤤

I have had more than my fair share of donuts here and they are delicious! (Maple and jelly filled are the BEST!) Furthermore we recently approached them about a community event and they were wonderful/ so generous to work with. On the their website and the door they say they are open until 5:00. But when you finally get to the store a sign is up that says they are sold out of their donuts, come back tomorrow at 6:00 am. Now I get it, small businesses can’t stay open when they don’t have the product to sale. But if this is a constant event, then close earlier so you don’t get bad reviews from people. Your donuts are great, we’ve been there before. Just would have liked to know the donuts were gone today before we made a trip.

How can you be a donut shop, when you have no donuts to sell? The last 3 times Ive gone in, your are out of donuts before 9 am. Heres an idea raise your par levels, maybe you can make more money by having product longer than 3 hours.

Good donuts. If you want something specific the earlier you go the better. Sometimes they are out of a lot of donuts by 10am. My kids love the donuts and I like the prices.

First time trying Daylight Donuts. Visited on March 1st. Ive gotta say the donuts were amazing! The gentleman who helped me was professional and friendly. Will come back often!

I wasnt terribly impressed...my expectations were probably too high with the 4.5 star rating on Google. I found the flavor a bit too oil-rich--they lacked the light, crisp, texture I love in the best donuts. My kids liked being able to choose a filling on their donuts, though.

I walked in at 11:30am and they had zero donuts. There was literally not a donut in sight and all they said was, Sorry, sold out. And they dont close until 5pm! I would at least expect them to say something like, Were making more right now be theyll be ready in 10 minutes. or something, right? Wont be stopping here again. What a waste of time and gas!

I still love the glazed twist.My prior favorite is so gross now. The strawberry glaze has an artificial and medicinal flavor. I was walking my dog, had only a debit card and the employee asked for photo ID on a $3 purchase. 😒 If only there was another way to verify my purchase... Maybe with a secret, 4 digit code....

They have really good donuts here. I especially love the bear claws (apricot, if theyre available) and the honey buns. The donuts are soft and perfectly cooked, and the fillings are a great complement.

My husband brought donuts once and I didnt like them, but since they werent fresh I decided to give them another chance. We went to the store at 4:30 and it was closed! It says in the door that they close at 5:00.

Donuts are ridiculously smaller than ever. Donuts tasted different. $6 bucks for 6 very small pink donuts. No more. You get better donuts at Smiths.

The owner is a big supporter of the community. He helps us provide about 3000 donuts for a community Halloween event each year. This is a fundraiser and they give us a great deal. On top of that the donuts are sooooooo good! Definitely worth a visit.

Become my favorite donut in town. All of the classics, always fresh and tasty dough. Not overly thought up donuts that are so en vogue w/ new stores these days, leaving you with a gut wrench after consumption. Only complaint about D.L. is their sub-par coffee, if youre like me and have to have coffee w/ your donut, plan an extra stop for coffee.

Changing my review from 5 stars to 1 because I cant even remember the last time I got a donut here because theyre never open. They used to be one of my favorites but every time Ive gone there the past few months theyre closed. Sometimes theres a sign saying theyre sold out, but at 8 am today there was no explanation. Several other bewildered people arrived while I was there and were also surprised to see a closed store. Looking through reviews it appears the owner has some canned, glib response ready. Youre a chain store, not some artisan bakery. Daylight should revoke your franchisee license and bring in someone who actually wants to sell donuts.

Not impressed at all for what they charge. Really small counter that leads to a really small selection of about a dozen to choose from. And I love local mom n pop donut shops. But $8 for a few standard donuts and coffee, geezus!Come on guys be inventive, get gluten free, real maple frosting, make a real bacon top, different shapes, get a selection people want to or have to go to. Make the coffee unforgettable instead of forgettable.I knew this one place that gave their donut holes away for free. They wouldnt even ask u, theyd just threw them in to fill the bag. And they were great and always warm, omg. It didnt matter if u ordered one donut, 3 donuts or a dozen, they threw em in. And the coffee was top of the line stuff. I was happy to pay $5-6 every time plus threw in tip change every time. And they had a line out the door at 5am, 5:30am, 6am, 6:30am, 7am on Sat, 8am on sun. Theyd close at noon everyday and u could go there and get whats left for next to nothing. And they donated the rest to local shelters. Plus They had as many if not more selection than dunkin donuts. And it was as small as this mediocre place. Oh, And they always gave out their new creative inventions for free to everybody in line to try out and test market. And they would get their instant feedback and it would show up that week as the donut of the week. Man, They knew how to run a donut biz.P.s. They had a charred banana fosters donut that I would have left my wife for if she wanted to move. And a blueberry almond crisp, real fruit fillings, no sugary corn syrup junk, real mashed up fruit as fillings, ridiculous. That was 5 years ago when my company had to move (sad day) and Im still bleeping thinking about it.
