Took my 09 Forester here when the A/C was having issues and had to get the compressor, expansion valve and condenser replaced, had it back to me the next day. A/C runs great now and everyone who works here was super friendly.Had the CEL come on just yesterday and they scanned it for me real quick, said it seemed to be nothing but to keep my eye on it and I was back on my way. Rocky is a nice guy and Id recommend MTA to anyone in the area.

Always great experiences at MTA. Legit mechanic shop, no BS, that’s why they have such loyal customers. They were booked up all day so I had to go to Valvolene and they rounded out my drain plug and lied to me about how it happened. Told MTA and they were not only able to fix the damage that Valvolene had done, but they got me in on late notice.Great group of people, would recommend without reservation.

Are used to have an older Tahoe and I remember it was Rocky who came to me and said, “Let’s talk… How much money do you really want to keep putting into this car?“ We discussed my needs for the car, moving forward, and a potential mechanic’s plan. It’s now years later, and I got my new car in for a quick fix up with n an engine light. They did a fantastic job, as always, and even worked with my Carmax warranty. Quick, efficient, affordable - and I’m never worried that they’re trying to scam me for some part or something I don’t need. I recommend MTA to everyone because I always know they’ll never let me down.

I’ve been in a few times now and definitely know this is my shop from now on. A comfortable waiting area and quick turnaround has made getting my car repairs done very easy. Rocky and Robert are easy to talk to and honest with repairs needed and costs. I’ve had an oil change, brakes and new tires and have had all positive, quality service each time.

I had my 98 Dodge Durango towed to them on a Thursday and was told they wouldn’t be able to look at it until Friday. Around 4pm the same day Rocky calls me and let’s me know what’s wrong with my truck. I was surprised since they had told me they wouldn’t get to it till the next day. He proceeded to let me know what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix it which to me was not over priced at all. . He never once tried to sell me any other parts or repairs and was very honest and upfront. My truck was done Friday before closing and I can say it drives so much better. These guys do amazing work and are very professional and friendly. I would take my truck back again when in need of anymore repairs and I will recommend them highly to friends and family.

I called Murrieta Tire and Auto after being quoted nearly double for brakes and rotors... on top of that they determined that I didn’t even need the tire alignment that another shop said I needed. They were actually able to squeeze me in last minute on the same day that I got a quote from them. I explained that it was my carpool day and then they offered me their loaner truck, which was very clean and I was able to fit four teenagers in it comfortably. Thank you Robert for giving me the best price possible and being super accommodating I really appreciate it!! I have already recommended you to several of my friends!!

They only like to use their own auto parts there so you dont know what kind of parts are being installed in your vehicle.

Had a used car inspected. I am out of their area and the car I wanted to buy was nearby. These guys had no motive to treat me well but thats exactly what they did anyway. I got top service and excellent advice. Rocky is wonderful. I would regularly service my car and get my tires there if I were local.

I called for a quote to fix my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s water pump. I know how to do it myself but I didn’t feel like making a mess or dealing with the hassle. It wasn’t urgent or anything either, so I wasn’t in a rush. The water pump itself is $80 to $100 and I figured for 2-300 dollars I could pay for that. They must think I’m dumb because he told me after services and topping off fluids it would be $600 almost $700 dollars. I even called around and prices were $350-$400. I ended up doing it myself and It took me 3 hours to do myself and I paid less than $150 for the water pump and coolant. These people are just trying to take advantage of your bad situation. Don’t let them play you!

Ive said it before and Ill say it again, Im a big fan of Murrieta Tire and Auto. I have taken my 02 BMW 3 series for years to this shop: tires purchased and service performed. They know their stuff and the prices are extremely fair. The staff at MTA is very friendly and if repairs are required, will discuss them in detail. They are trustworthy!!

After the recent rain, I hit a pothole that formed in the road and filled with water. Had some shimmy in my steering so I took my car over here on my dads advice. Rocky confirmed my suspicion that my rim was bent (actually, they all were somewhat from a previous incident involving a metal plate in the road), balanced the tires and rotated them to reduce the shimmy, and found some replacement rims for me in the future that look pretty slick. And they did all of that within about two hours. Reliable shop, friendly staff, would/will suggest to friends.

Easy to get an appointment and the appointment date is in a timely manner, friendly and helpful customer service, easy explanations of issues/ recommendations, the appointment itself was completed in a timely manner and competitive rates. A few years ago the shop we had come to trust closed down. It took awhile to find a place we really like, and that place is Murrieta Tire and Auto Repair. Being a woman, Im always wary about walking into auto repair shops. Well meaning people can still be condescending, and not-so-well meaning people can rip you off. That has not been the case at MTA. Rocky and his people have been very skillful at diagnosing the problem, and have always been pleasant and fair. We have an older car, and he explains what is wrong, quotes a fair price, and doesnt make me feel bad if I dont repair everything. I sometimes wait in the front area for someone to be free to help, but it has a family feeling to it, so I dont mind. A few months ago, he hosted a car wash for one of the local high schools, so being of service to the community seems to be important to him. That means something to me. My nephew has highly recommended Murietta Tire and Auto Repair for years - for the maintenance of his 2002 Hyundai Sonata which continues to run like the day it was purchased!I placed a call to them and got an appointment immediately when my 2013 Kia Soul started making an intermittent noise. After a test drive and thorough examination, Robert concluded it was the brakes. Great service. I would definitely recommend. They saved me a lot of money. I went to Nissan before to get my service engine light checked on. Nissan told me I had something terribly wrong with my engine. I took it in to Murrieta Tire and auto repair a week later and they just told me that the computer in my car needed to be fixed because it was forcing the light to stay on even though my engine was fine. These guys arent just out for money. They are genuine people.

I just love this business. They are always accommodating with any issue, big or small, on any of my four vehicles. I am never surprised by the costs because they always provide me with an estimate and there are never any hidden fees or surprises at check out. They always work with my busy schedule allowing me to drop my car off early if need be, or even allowing it to stay over night when I cannot make it back into town. They have provided excellent service, reliable and trustworthy, for six years and I would recommend them to anyone.

I had my tires replaced and a full inspection done to my vehicle. Rocky was very helpful in letting me know what I would need done and when, very honest and upfront about everything. Needless to say, I will be bringing my vehicle (as well as my other one) back for all my service needs.

Decided to go to this shop to have them install lowering springs for my car and I highly recommend them. Rocky was very straight forward and clear with me when my car would be done and even recommended a shop for an alignment. (Since they couldnt get to it, which was fine because Rocky let me know beforehand that they might not be able to).

I really thought I had found the repair shop that would be maintaining our 3 vehicles! But sadly it is not to be....after doing business there for over a year they decide to not explain what caused the transmission to fail in the one car that has to be the most dependable because of a long commute, two days after they did a simple filter and fluid flush? Is not telling me the whole story the same as lying or am I wrong? How can I trust their work now? You are not a dealer alternative, you are not honest and fair. Sorry guys but you lost a good customer, I only hope others will read this and reconsider their repair shop choices!

I dont get my car fixed anywhere but here. My family has been relying on Murrieta Tire and Auto for nearly a decade. They know what they are talking about, have an awesome staff, do timely work, and can be trusted to get your car fixed without trying to sell you on a bunch of other stuff unless the vehicle actually needs it, which is a quality I find to be the most important when dealing with people who fix your car. There may be other good, honest auto shops out there, Im just saying this is truly one of them.

I have ridden by this business countless times on my bicycle. When I needed a set of front tires for my Fiat EV I decided to stop by. They gave me a competitive price on the specific tire that I needed and we had a nice chat with them while waiting a short time in their comfortable lobby. I learned that they perform factory recommended maintenance so I plan to take our Hyundai Santa Fe there for maintenance and service. This independent garage is part of Historic Murrieta downtown. I am looking forward to supporting them with our business and referrals as they come up.

I went in for tires and brakes. My brakes were squeaking and I had 73000 miles on them. About an after I dropped off my truck, Rocky called and said my truck did not need brakes. Wow! What an honest mechanic. Looks like they have a customer for life.

Ive never felt relieved after getting my car serviced. Usually you feel gutted, spent, exhausted, and tired over the cost, time waiting, and impending bad news over more than what you came to get fixed. The Murphys usually live in mechanics garages!! If its not one thing its something else. However, when I came here I was immediately welcomed and because of the email/call prior to my arrival they already knew to expect me and what I needed done. I was assured that prior to any work done they would let me know the cost and time it would take. When I was contacted about what was going on with my car I was dreading the damage that was about to happen with my wallet. However, I was quite surprised on the cost because it was super reasonable, for which I thought was going to be pretty expensive. My car was in bad shape. After speaking to them about what needed to be done I was relieved and was happy to have them work on my car. The time it took was also quite fast and not what I expected. I had planned a full day of being without my car and it was quite the opposite. To top it off, the owner even messaged me on their next business day to ask how my car was doing! Wonderful experience! I take our vehicles to Murrieta Tire and Auto for service. They give honest appraisals of your vehicles needs. I had my truck there yesterday for tires and to check out my brakes. Rocky did a quick appraisal and said I could safely get more miles out of my tires. The brakes did not need new pads, but they found problems with my radiator.
