Love this store, love the very knowledgeable employees that work there. Great atmosphere, however it is very unfortunate that I have been waiting for 4 weeks for the manager to call me. He/she does not work weekends. I go in. Explain my warranty issue, and they say they will leave the manager a message and put it in the computer to call me. I have a $3k purchase that has a $20 warranty item. I should at least get a call back. It’s not all I be spent there either, I have a full band of plus my neighbor who I sent there and he just bought 6k. My band spends 1000 a month on average. I leave my card, my name, my number, what more do I have to do; call him/her myself? I guess I will.
Had an amazing experience buying my 1st Taylor Guitar. Donald helped me and he was so great to deal with. I had a bit of a complicated scenario since I returned a Yamaha that was gifted to me. I had another Yamaha shipped from Texas, then returned that, traded in my Ibanez and bought the Taylor 414ce in Tabacco Sunburst. The store is great, all the staff is very nice and Donald was just awesome. Super patient and you can tell he really cares about your experience. If your in the market for a guitar, drums or the like, look no further. The will treat you right. Thanks again Donald!Norbert
Ive been to 3 Guitar Centers in the last 3 months. None of them are up to par with the quality of service, attention, cleanliness, and organization with this one. Miguel was very helpful and knowledgeable. He really seemed like he genuinely cared to help and find what you are looking for. The store has lots of options to choose from, and will be returning to only this one next time.
Took a while to get waited on. But pretty good price on guitar starter kit for grandson. Was expecting more Waynes World vibe.

I just got home and double checked my receipt and realized even though I specifically asked if the guitar strap I was purchasing was the one on sale, and the clerk assured me it was, I was charged full price. I was also charged full price for three sets of Ernie Ball strings even though they were supposed to be buy two get one free. I would drive back and get my money back, but gas prices and the general frustration make it not worth it. Just consider this the end of my over Thirty years of buying from Guitar Centers, its Sweetwater from here on out, they always give me exactly what I ordered and they actually care about the instruments they sale.
Great selection, good guitars and I always find a gem here. Scott is a great guy and was very helpful with letting me play guitars and get me all hooked up. All the folks here are super friendly and appreciated.
Great music store. Staff is always ready to make a sale. I bought my son a bass here and was tols I had to purchase the floor model and they were out of stock in the back. But I insisted they go and check and what do you know they had it. Make sure to double or tripple check your buys

Bought my daughters new electric jazz master here. Great store. Although clerk forgot to include whammy bar, not a problem though. Another clerk assisted us helped out and polished guitar for us before leaving the store.
Very helpful and friendly staff, especially Donald and Matt the guitar tech. They went above and beyond and were extremely helpful with a dispute with the insurance company when a 500$ guitar i had just gotten warped and insurance didnt want to pay up !
Waited 45 minutes for help, and the store was empty. Once I got help the sales rep stepped away to assist another employee and never returned. Was going to drop $1000 on some new equipment. Now I am just gonna order what I want on Amazon. Thanks for the help Don.

I went in to get a guitar as a Christmas gift for a friend of mine. It was a real quick trip. Just in and out. But the options they have here are great. A whole floor to ceiling wall. And there were lots of employees around if I had any questions. When I finally did go to buy one, the guy at the counter was real nice and any questions I had were answered. Ill definitely be coming back here in the future for gifts or anything else music related I need.
Need more staff other than that great place.

The employees were very helpful and kind for the most part. I had waited in line for about an hour and when I finally got inside the lady that helped us was very nice and knowledgeable. It wasn’t until about 15 minutes later I finally made a decision on a guitar I was going to buy. A wooden finish Jackson for about $300. I asked the lady if she would be able to find out the out-the-door price for me. She left us for a moment to go find that out for me, and while we were waiting a man, who I assumed to be the manager, came up to us and very rudely reminded us that we need to buy something (or not) and get out because there were other people waiting in line. He said if we’re just looking, to look another day. He then dismissed himself and walked away. Moments after, an employee walked by and briefly apologized for that fiasco and informed us there is a strict policy right now. We left moments after that and did not purchase anything. I’m giving 3 stars because the store itself and most of the employees are worth 5 stars hands down. However this experience was a 3-star experience and that is only because the lady who helped us was very nice. I understand times are tough right now and everyone is under stress, but there are more polite ways and respectful ways to talk to people.

The employees are very friendly here. The store has a good selection of strings, guitars, drums, keyboards and audio. I always find what I need and they will get it if they dont have it.

The staff here is always helpful and they remember you when you come in. They will spend as much time with you as needed so that you can get your questions answered. Wish they would stock some more unique guitars but they stock the basics and for the area its expected, its not Hollywood. Highly recommend for your music needs and its great to have a GC local in our valley.

Went there today for a speaker for my daughter. Jules was super helpful as well as knowledgeable about the product we were looking for and made my daughter feel really comfortable to be there. Plus, they were practicing Covid safety measures which I really appreciated.
Guitar Center in Murrieta, and Matthew J Norris the Repair Tech. are wonderful. Matt is an artiste and a genius. He repaired my 71 year old Ukelele, Which Id been told could not be fixed. My friend Ralph, who has been a loyal Guitar Center Customer told me about Matt. Ralph is an extraordinary guitar player and he took my Ukelele to Matt. Matt is a miracle worker and my Ukelele is even better than new. He is truly Amazing. I am so pleased with the end result. The Staff was very Welcoming; It was a really great experience. I was impressed with the customer service by John the manager (murrieta location). He was able to take care of our order with a great attitude. I had talked to someone over the phone at the corporate office and they gave me bad vibes and terrible attitude. I’m glad We ran into John, he made the curbside experience great and easy. Appreciated his help in times like this I know it’s hard but he kept a great attitude towards the experience!

Well started out like this I came from Idyllwild to guitar center it takes me two hours cuz there isnt a guitar center within the distance that has the the drums I was looking for so so one of the staffs almost sent me to Rialto which is another 26 minutes to find the drums but the Rialto store is not a storage distributing center guitar center they didnt have those drums in stock so the guy sent me to one one place and it was the home the distributing center so we stopped from going there and we went to another one that said the drums were in stock and they werent there so I had to buy another one dont like them missing pieces and I want to return it other than that I love your stores

Not only do I love the atmosphere (of course) I love the Manager. He honored a pretty significant sale for me: one weekend after the original sale had ended, due to a manufacturer mis-advertisement. He is extremely knowledgeable, and he understood my audio production questions. His staff was able to inform me and educated me promptly about my queries. He knew exactly why I wanted the sale price, and he was happy to honor it for me. Dont expect him to do this all the time, but let me say I truly enjoy coming back and spending my money at this store. Why? Because the quality control is impeccable. Its the real deal. Place is awesome! Employees are really knowledgeable but I have them 3 stars because for the second year in a row they double charged my girlfriends account and we found out about it again after being hear yesterday. This is the second Christmas that they did this to her and its a pain trying to get it fixed so she can purchase her sons banjo before Christmas. Otherwise the place is pretty cool

All the staff is awesome at Guitar center. We know Daniel and Jack the drum teacher the best. Our teen daughter loves taking drum lessons from Jack. Jack is a friendly, fun, easy going teacher. Daniel is always so helpful, professional, and friendly. It is so easy to take lessons at Guitar Center. We are very happy there!
I understand covid is making stores spread thin on employees, but theyre really killing their employees by only having two on one shift. Other than that, had a good visit and the employees helped me get what I needed.
As a guitarist, I absolutely love the selection that Guitar Center offers. The best psrt is that they cater to musicians in general, not just guitarists. I do know that some people dont exactly like the customer service, but I have not found it to be too bad. I suggest that if you want a more personalized service then you should go to a local shop. However, doing so will not give you as wide of an option for instruments and gear like Guitar Center. I do recommend this place, but I also will say that they kind of need to up their customer service compared to other music stores.

It is why I always take my business to here. Local shops are great but often times there isnt any helpful info to extent on any one instrument.

I have been getting my gear at this location for 8 years now and never had any problems purchasing items... but this review is specifically for those looking to get their guitar set up. In short, look else where for service.I took my guitar in this last weekend and was extremely unsatisfied wit the service I received. First it took 3 days before their tech looked at the guitar; however when I called on two separate days, I was assured it was almost ready.They spent more time stringing me around than they spent fixing my guitar. I went in and asked for my guitar back because I would prefer not to pay $90 (overpriced) for this type of service. The tech had started work but was nice enough to stop work, despite changing the strings, and gave the guitar back. An assistant manager then stepped in, without me asking, but only worked to escalate the situation and antagonized me when I said I explained the situation. His handling of the situation was poor and just put a downer on my day. I definitely will not return because of him.At the end of it all, I would have been much better off if I did not even bother trying to get my guitar serviced.

Found an excellent guitar for under 300 bucks. My debit card had expired so the sales clerk signed me up for a Guitar Center gear card. Painless! Now Im glad my old guitar broke because the new one is so much better. Thanks to Steve. (Salesman)

Very good service. I was helped immediately. Then I asked for a chime holder and the guy gave me the low to high prices and showed me where they were. Only a few customers while I was there. Well definitely go back. Great store in my observation.
