Complete lack of support and rude staff— especially a guy named Chris on the phone. I’m utterly baffled that he claims “a lot of people work from home” to brush off my genuine concern. He sounds like he doesn’t even want to be working and I’ve never experience anything like this. It’s completely beyond me. I feel scammed for having purchased such an expensive security system that still can’t be activated. I’m warning everyone, don’t go with this go buy Ring or something else. They overcharge you for a service that honestly isn’t worth it at all and they try to steal you money even without providing service.

We purchased a new construction home by Toll Brothers in Porter Ranch. This company is a complete scam. They have a full presentation and sell you on their products during the Escrow phase. We purchased thousands of dollars worth of service that we expected to be complete upon close of escrow. We are now a month in our new home and do not have our security system set up nor do we have our audio system. Every appointment that is made is then cancelled hours after they didn’t show up. There is no transparency and they dodge every call they can. Our point of contact was Luke during escrow and he is completely unhelpful. I have a small children and needed an alarm set up prior to close of escrow but that did not happen. Now after 4 attempts we have a technician here who is telling us that they wired they entire house wrong. I do not know how toll brother even has a contract with such a horrible company. At this point we are considering legal action due to the lack of care and incompetence of this company. We also have a huge whole in our wall where our subwoofer should be and it’s not safe for my children to be around open wires. Extremely disappointed in my service with them.

We purchased a home through Toll Bothers and used their vender e4control systems for the home audio and smart home installation. It has been 4 months since we closed, and house was unoccupied for them for 3 of those months. Our systems are still not complete in their set up and installation. I can not emphasis enough how poor their service and how long its taken them to complete a relatively simple system. It amounts to nothing more than incompetence and poor business practice.Note the picture of the TV installed. It is not straight and they left wires hanging out even though there is power and a passthrough behind the tv.

I bought a home from Shea homes that had a security system installed so I called these guys twice and scheduled two appointments that they failed to show up. The guy was not apologetic, he did not care! What a company!

How sad they don’t have time to handle my new construction. When I called to inquire about service he stated they can’t get done with what they have. How sad they don’t need any new jobs. Don’t give them a chance.

We purchase a cinema package from e4 through our builder on a new home and had e4 add a security system (LUMA). Either the LUMA system is defective or the e4 techs are clueless about this system. It works for awhile but then stops, we’ve had them out twice, only one guy seemed to know the system. But it doesn’t work once again and a tech was just here. I can use the cameras when I turn off my WiFi, but I will always have WiFi on when I am home and it doesn’t work. And the customer service, at least through the initial rep we were given when dealing with them through the builder was horrible, total lack of response. Think twice before doing anything with this company. Be warned.

The drivers have their head in the clouds. I was ran into a curb by a driver in San Diego while in a parking lot. If they cant keep focus on the road, I would never allow them into my home.
