Pretty rude and unprofessional. We walked in and were asked “what do you want?”. Wouldn’t tattoo my friend and I because “it was going to make a big difference in our lives?” Not sure at all what that means but I don’t recommend this place unless you like being talked to like you’re a child.

I walked in and immediately felt comfortable here. The people in the shop were all super chill, and the man who did my piercings (first ones ever) made absolutely sure I was comfortable. I could tell everything was clean, and that is so huge when getting piercings or tattoos.I would 1000% recommend this place to anybody looking for a chill place that does it all right.

Ky was rude and didn’t make me feel confident at all. I was told my idea was weird. She made me feel like I wasn’t important. She also didn’t know what she was talking about regarding my tattoo. If you decide to go here I recommend Ray and not Ky. After chatting with a few friends I’ve discovered that she was not only rude but she also messed up their tattoos.

I came here to get my nose pierced and the guy working made me feel confident in his knowledge and experience, which put me at ease. After he was done piercing my nostril he pierced my husbands ears, but he was still paying enough attention to me to notice that I looked like I might faint. I had just been about to let him know how I was feeling when he asked me, and then he was quick to get me lying down and provide me with a cool towel for my forehead with instructions not to rush and sit up before I was ready (my body always freaks out like this with piercings. Ugh). Overall, my husband and I walked out of there very happy with our experience and the reasonable prices. I would recommend this place to anyone else looking to get body/facial piercings.

Ive been going here for over 10 years now. Ray is not only a exceptional artist, but he really makes you feel valued. Ive been to 3 other shops for small pieces and every artist made me feel like they were doing me a favor by seeing me. I wasnt a priority, they had better things to be doing than tattooing me, etc... Completely different feeling at AWOL. Ive since had 2 full sleeves, hands, knuckles, a full back piece and some other items done here and theyre phenomenal! Great shop, great people, extremely friendly and professional!

Chief did a great job! I decided to get my first tattoo to celebrate being a 5 year breast cancer survivor. A friend of mine recommended Chief. I knew I wanted a pink ribbon, but wasnt exactly sure what I wanted. I talked to Chief about what I wanted and he created a perfect tattoo for me. I had a great time at AWOL Custom Tattooing as soon as I walked in. Even though I was a little nervous getting my first tattoo, Chief put me at ease. I cant recommend AWOL enough. I will definitely get all my future tattoos at AWOL.

Jason (Chief) is the best! Hes an excellent artist. He loves his work and it definitely shows. He loves the challenge of cover up tattoos that any other tattoo shop would turn down. He is very creative and helps take your tattoo idea and adds on to it to make it better than you would imagine. He does the research behind tattoos to make them even more meaningful and significant. Hell work with you on prices. Honestly the VERY BEST prices I have ever seen at a tattoo shop. The shop is very clean and sanitary. Top of the line, custom tattoos that no on else has, for a great price. You seriously cant beat it!!

Called yesterday and they said they accepted walk ins from 10-3. They open at 10. Got here at 10 and they were already booked, as they had let people in early. Guy at front desk was also rude. No formalities or apologizes or “you can make an appointment for a later time” just “we are booked.”

Kevin was great. Going to have him do additional work after hip replacement surgery.

Awesome experience! Chief took the time to look at all of my pictures, answer all of my questions and random thoughts about the piece. He took all of the pictures and put them together, in his artistic style, for a beautiful shoulder piece. This girl is happy! It was sooooo worth the 3 hrs I traveled to see him. Ky did my tattoo on my arm and it turned out fantastic. The line work is clean and even the small details in the face are very well done and for a great price. However my fiance got a tattoo done by Ray. He now has to take it to a different shop to be reworked because he donesnt feel confident in Ray. Some lines arent even straight. Theres one stop you can tell he missed the original line and just made it thicker. Also many of the lines that are supposed to meet in the tips of the star dont always stop some continue past the point. I personally after seeing this work would not feel comfortable with someone who claims to have been tattooing for 15+ years and they cant keep their lines straight to tattoo me. Not only to mention I was immediately put off by him because while yes we were walk ins it seemed as in Ray was getting frustrated with us when trying to pick out designs and such. Not only to mention the pungent odor he gave off.

Eric did my navel piercing, and the environment was very comfortable. Coming from a girl who has two ear piercings and cried for each of those, my navel piercing didnt even hurt! The piercers are very willing to help throughout the healing process.

Clean, good atmosphere. Bf & I went for septum piercings. Piercer was very patient & resourceful. Even wiped away our involuntary tears! ;)

The Chief does beautiful work, however it takes months to get on his schedule. Then cancels 5 min after the appointment started. The receptionis said he has a lot going on right now. And wanted to rebook in another 4 months. Im sorry but I took time off work for this. The Chief just isnt up to tattooing anymore I guess.... Taking my business elsewhere

Watched my husband get a large tattoo done on his side. Chef was patient with explaining to me everything while I asked multiple questions Im sure was enough to annoy anyone. His work is amazing and he works even harder to give you what you want exactly how you want it. Planning to come here to get work done on myself while my husband is still coming back to get more done often.

I recently had to take my daith piercing I got here out because I was told by several other professional piercers that it was done wrong and would move. The piercing is a few years old and I noticed it moving and became incredibly painful so I had to take it out and wait for it to close before I can get it redone somewhere else.
