The worst landscape company around. The owner is a spoiled kid of the previous owner who does not know how to run a business nor does he know how to treat customers. He swears and berates customers and has no sense of customer relations. Come to find out he gets that from his senile father who looked at my lawn and blamed me for the shoddy job. He swore in front of my 3 year old and flipped me off in front of her. These people are classless. DO NOT USE them! They use terrible grade grass and blame everyone else but themselves. They hang up on you when you try and explain also. This is the grass I got from them after 3 weeks when they seeded and they blame me.

DO NOT HIRE THEM! We have had nothing but trouble since the beginning with this company. We paid over $3000 for a new front yard. We water it 3 times a day. Nothing but crab grass has grown. Our lawn looks worse than before. They will do nothing to help. They called us liars and swore in front of our kids. The older man that came to look at our yard wanted to fight my husband and was the rudest person. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional company. What ever you do avoid them and dont hire them for anything.

Dayton and his crew did a great job of installing a Tumbled Blue Flagstone walkway. The process was very professional, from the initial estimate to the installation, and we appreciated Daytons ideas. I must admit I was a little hesitant about going with Landscape Supply based on the reviews, but Im glad I did. I think that their pre-payment policies need some work, but their performance was very good. We couldnt be more pleased.

Honestly, I’m completely surprised to see any negative reviews at all though I know things can happen sometimes. I have been ordering products and services from these folks for years and it has always gone well. The office staff is courteous and professional and the prices are great. The estimator, Dayton, was professional and thorough. Products are always delivered quickly. We just had a huge job completed by Dayton and Adam and these guys worked their tails off. My neighbors were coming over exclaiming how hard and fast these guys worked and how professional the job turned out when they were done. Not only that, they cleaned everything up and left things as if they had never been here. Awesome job Landscape Supply!

I have used them twice now. The second time BECAUSE of the first time. I walked in with an idea of what I wanted and asked for advice. Kim was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I got exactly what I wanted, how much I needed, delivered faster than expected by Dayton who was great and put it exactly where I wanted to make it easier for me. The second time, same thing. Great job. Great pricing.

Nick Daniels yelled at me, called me senile, said driver getting stuck in my yard was my doing. Said I had to pay to get unstuck. Used to be free delivery, snuck delivery charge in my bill without telling me. Am an honest 62 year old nurse. Still need my sand with delivery charge either delivered or refunded. The saga continues. Do not do business with this company. Day 2 got hung up on. Said would not get my sand because I help up their truck for 4 hours.

First and foremost, I never write reviews, good or bad, but I had to share this experience because it was so appalling. We hired Landscape Supply to complete a backyard clean up of a house we just moved into. The gentleman that came to the house to measure and quote the work was great courteous and said he fully understood what we needed / wanted. We called a few days later when we didn’t receive a quote, to ask for it. We spoke to Shelly who was very nice and clearly understood this was for cleanup of the back yard. She gave us a quote verbally, we accepted. She wanted payment immediately as others have mentioned, which we were fine with. That is where thinks went bad. They showed up for 30 minutes last Thursday. Picked up a small brush pile in the corner of the property and left after charging us $165. I just called and tried to speak to the owner. He cussed and yelled at me over the phone stating we got what we paid for and then hung up on me without letting me say a word other than stating to him the reason I was calling. Very unprofessional way of handling yourself as the owner of the company. The other reviews are right, please do your homework before hiring and certainly don’t pay them for anything up front.

This wonderful, family-owned company has been running for nearly 30 years by my amazing family. We’ve had the pleasure of meeting and giving service to so many amazing people. We always appreciate any positive reviews that our honest customers take the time to post. Obviously a higher percentage of displeased, crooked people who are trying to get something free (in many dishonest ways) are going to leave negative reviews, but that’s life. I understand that when you deal with crooks and negative people, you’ll unfortunately get dishonest reviews. We’re sad to see these dishonest people show their lack of morality as often as they do, but as I said earlier, this is how things are. On a brighter note, if you’re an honest human being and want excellent service for some of the lowest prices around, we’ll be happy to help. Have a wonderful day! :)

Rude, unprofessional, and unhonest.A once good business, now being ruined by the previous owners son, Nick, and his monumentally unprofessional staff ... namely Kim. They have taken down their Facebook page due to being tagged in so many complaints, and theyll gladly take your money without delivering all of the product that you paid for. They raise their voice at you when you bring it to their attention that you didnt get all of your materials, call you a liar, blame it on your neighbors saying they mustve stolen it, and have no problem hanging up the phone on you when being held accountable. Its a shame that Amos isnt still running the place, hed be embarrassed of his businesss current reputation.A police report was filed by us and I will be continuously telling everyone not to use this landscaping business (along with the majority of Muskegon, based on many other reviews), unless they want to give their hard earned money away via not receiving all of the landscaping materials they paid for when choosing to use this business. My mom was shorted 15 rolls of sod, and both Nick and Kim had the audacity to say she was a liar, after shes spent thousands of dollars with them on yards of rock, top soil, mulch, and a previous sod order. Cant wait to watch Karma handle this one, Id be surprised to see them still in business in a few years. You cant repeatedly screw the people in the community where your business is located, and expect them to still want you around.

Scheduled an appointment to have my irrigation looked at. ( had to pay $54.00 over the phone before they would schedule) Was not getting water to the sprinkler heads. 1st app. they never showed, and no phone call. Had to call them to find out why was told family emergency. Made a 2nd app. Didnt show again. Was told I never made a 2nd app. Told them I sure as hell did. They sent someone out late that day finaly. He was there 15 minutes. Put some water in pump to prime it he said didnt work. Told me my point was plugged. Call a well guy. Found another irrigation company to come out they primed it for 20 minutes instead of 5 minutes like the other guy and it took right off. They made sure all sprinklers and zones were working before they left. Total time spent on my irrigation from this company was one hour, had me up and running and chrged me less than landscape supply

We realized on a Saturday that our project was going to require 10 yards of top soil. We called all around and no one was available. I thought it was a tough request to begin with. We called Landscape Supplies and they said they would be here in an hour. Im pretty sure it was less than that. Dropped off the 10 yards, gave us our receipt and pamphlet, and boom...done. We were thrilled - well gladly use them again for mulch this spring. No - my family and I are NOT Affiliated with them at all - so its a completely unbiased review.

I am sorry l dont know the gentlemans name that came to my home, but he was wonderful! He did a fantastic job putting in dolomite at the bottom of my driveway! Everyone l dealt with was great! Wonderful company and l will do all my landscaping business with them.☺

I urge everyone to think before working with this company. They ripped me off to the point where I needed to write this review although i do not write reviews often. They demand 100% payment before the job starts so you have no leverage whatsoever when they do not complete the job. The owner will not even get on the phone to discuss a dispute. I have given them a lot of business in the last couple of years and they will never ever get any of it again and I will make sure to specifically warn anyone who thinks they are a fair business to stay clear. Read the majority of these reviews and you will see how dishonest they are and it starts with the top dog. They had no idea how to diagnose a wiring issue with my sprinkler system and they claim that to be a part of their business. They arbitrarily raise the price when work takes longer but do not negotiate a lower price when the work takes significantly less time. They want your money - not your long term business. Please read all reviews and see for yourself. They are rip off artists. If there was a zero rating I would have given them that. BEWARE - they should not be in business!!!!!!!!!

Ordered 14 yards of dolemite and got two truckloads of powder with some stones in it. Guess you have to look at your product before they dump it.

Landscape Supply delivered and spread our playground mulch and sand for a sandbox for a childcare center. They did a phenomenal job and cleaned up everything. They were very professional throughout the whole process. Great job and well done!!!

I have to say that I am fortunate enough to not have ever ordered anything from them because of friends who have. Not one friend out of 5 that got anything from them was pleased with the service or the rudeness of the staff. I am assuming that the people who have given 4 or 5 star reviews are either friends or relatives of the owner or the people that work there. BUYER BEWARE!

Paid for 3 yards to be delivered. It hardly looked like a yard and a half. We even measured it and our contractor on site was furious. When we called we were basically told, We dont make mistakes. They then gave us the number to a group in Lansing to call.

Called them twice this Spring to deliver mulch. They were friendly and efficient both times. Mulch delivered same day both times! Very happy with them.

Was good for what I needed. Bought a yard of topsoil and they promptly loaded it into my truck. The yard and dirt were a little wet from heavy rain, but I guess thats to be expected. Good prices.

I called to verify my measurements to determine the amount of mulch needed for my project. I was certain my math was off and wanted verification. After they used their formula, I knew something was wrong and asked for guidance. I was transferred to a male (I cannot remember his name). I explained that I think I did my math incorrect and if he could help me figure out where I went wrong. All he told me was that I did the math wrong and I have to give all of the numbers to them. I did not have a chance to ask questions; He was very rude and not understanding. I am sure that there are many who call with incorrect math, BUT I was not given the opportunity to discuss this like an adult. Very condescending and not professional whatsoever.

Higher prices than buying from the big box stores. Horrible customer service. Both times I have been in was informed that someone would help me when they got around to it. Never give them a penny

I ordered 5 yards of topsoil and was told that the driver would be calling me at 7:30 am as to the time of delivery since I had workers coming at 10 am. When I called at 7:50 am to ask the time I was repeated cursed out and accused of lying that I would receive a call. For no reason the person was agitated and vulgar. When I asked who I was speaking with I was told the owner. He continued to berate me and said they were not delivering the soil and to call back with my credit card info for a refund. Too bad zero starts isnt an option.

The worst customer service experience I’ve ever been through. I ordered soil through this company and they delivered it to the wrong address, dumping the soil in the driveway of my neighbors house. From the beginning I was never given an apology, they refused a refund and refused to send someone to remove the pile of soil from my neighbors driveway, and told me if I wanted more soil I would have to pay. I was then told the following day “good luck with your little $80 pile of soil”, “you weren’t going to leave it there for 70 years were you? Just move it” and was accused of lying when I told them that I never received a phone call from the delivery driver. I told them that I would write a review and they said “well we’ll just reply back that we tried to call and you didn’t answer”. I was humiliated over the phone and hung up on. If this is their policy for treating customers due to their own mistakes I pity this establishment. You have lost 6 of your customers through this debacle and more potential future customers over what you called “ a little pile of soil”, which I worked a full days of work to pay for. At the end of the day the problem is very simple: I was charged for a product I never received! I would not recommend this company to anyone, as their refusal to take responsibilty for their actions is completely outrageous and unprofessional. What’s sad is this situation is not unique evident by the reviews and people I’ve spoken to in person. A truly horrible operation.

Zero for a review. I would never recommend this place ever. I see exact complaints as many own. They took 60.00 cash from me. Picked up my mower, NEVER fixed it.they had it WELL OVER 30 DAY!!!! KIM, lied and lied every time I called I got a different answer. She said Amos was the manager, AND never gave him my messages nor did he call back to let me know what was going on. They stole my money then told me to come Get my own mower. What business does that? The better business bureau needs to get involved with these crooks.

Not a good time to get top soil. Soaking wet but they wont tell you that. The yard is a swamp now, better wear boots. Last time I got triple sifted garden soil it had so many stones, pieces of glass and clumps of clay it was unbelievable. I bought a yard of topsoil today ( 5/4/19) by the time it dries out it will have turned to concrete.

Everyone there was super helpful and fun to work with. I got everything I wanted and delivered that same day. Prices were very fair.

I heard about their incredibly amazing soil for growing things, brought in my 5 gallon buckets and they even drilled holes in the bottom before they filled them! Its cheaper than stores, too!And I have to mention the really nice people who work there! So great - even give you fresh popcorn!

Still waiting, two weeks after our last storm, for them to plow. Have called numerous times and when they answered, was told were on the list. My lawn is torn up from the time before, so maybe its for the better. Will not contract with them again.

Horrible how this company is still skating by to try and make money during the shut down while all other landscaping companies in this area are not operating. Worked past cease and desist orders, had to go to the point where they got sued. Owner bragged on Facebook about how he is making more money than he ever has. He is having employees drive around during this pandemic putting printed off paper flyers into everyones mailboxes. MIND YOU, they are touching everybodys mailbox while doing this in the area that his business is not even in to try and take business away from others. They EVEN put them in landscape business owners mailboxes. How horrible.. I hope everybody thinks twice before supporting this sick joke of a company.

Said they would call before delivery, didn’t, pulled down my driveway, ran OFF the driveway, cracked it all the way down and then said “tough”. When I confronted them about it they said when I signed the delivery confirmation slip I released them from any and all damage they cause. Wouldn’t even talk about making it right. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!

I ordered and payed for 20 yards of recycled asphalt for my driveway and only received 10 yards. I went down and talked to the owner and he accused me of wanting something for nothing. He said I was just like everyone else who wanted more for free. I told him I have a loader with a 1 yard bucket and I barley get 10 loads of material. I asked him to explain that. He had no answer and basically insinuated I was lying to him or trying to get something for free. I should have read the other reviews before I bought from him. My mistake shame on me. I WOULD NOT BUY A RUSTED SCREW FROM THIS CROOK. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prompt delivery, reasonable prices; these guys were terrific

On one hand its only 30 dollars to drop off a heaping truck bed load of brush, but on the other its also 30 dollars if you only have a small amount brush that you picked up commercially.

Mower looked great and ran great when I got it back only issue was they charged $70 to replace the blades and it left a patch of grass in the center. Looked under the mower and the blades were changed to a38” cut and they looked used. I own a 42” mower. Bought replacement blades from Sears (42” OEM blades) for $16 total and problem solved.

I thought I had finally found someone trustworthy to pick up and tune up my lawn equipment. They picked up my lawnmower to tune it up, and I told them repeatedly I would not be home for a week and asked if they could hold it until I got home. They reassured me this would be no problem. Imagine my surprise when they called me a couple days later to tell me they had dropped off my mower-NO ONE WAS HOME TO RECEIVE IT-and stuck it outside by a shed ( a shed because I am pretty sure they did not deliver it to my house). When I got home, there was no lawn mower to be found anywhere in my yard. I called them and all they said was We delivered it. No apology, somehow it was MY fault that my lawn mower was now missing, even though I had asked them to hold it until I got home and they had agreed. I am now without a lawn mower and the owner, or anyone from there for that matter, has yet to call me to apologize or try to rectify the situation. I am very frustrated and upset with the way they do business. Needless to say, I will not be using them in the future, for any lawn equipment maintenance or landscaping supplies.

Use them every year for my mulch or topsoil. Good prices. Always courteous and delivered that same day.

TERRIBLE customer service! I ordered 5 yards topsoil and 20 rolls of sod. Same day delivery is a joke! DONT BELIEVE IT! I called at 8:15 a.m. to place my order. The topsoil was delivered pretty quickly, but they said they would be back at 1:00 with the sod. At 6:15 p.m. the sod still wasnt delivered. When I called, they said It has already been delivered...clearly it was not! The owner was RUDE...demanded I get my receipt and read off the numbers. Told me he would try to call me back after he verified if what I was saying was true. He called back about ten minutes later and said he would try to have it delivered in about a half hour. The sod came in about 30 minutes. NEVER an apology on the phone, NEVER an apology from the driver...they really didnt acknowledge they did anything wrong or try to make things right. Also, the credit card charge was different than what was quoted on the phone! This was a small project for me to start the summer...Ill find someone else for my next projects! NEVER will I do business with Landscape Supply again! Dont ignore the rest of the reviews! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!

Had them pick up my riding and pusher mower for tune-up. I came home couple days later and both mowers were under the eaves in front of my garage door and it was and had been raining ALL DAY!! Both mowers were soaking wet. (Bet that does a lot for the $128 tune-up). Found 2 messages on my answering machine they were delivering the mowers. I was NOT home and yet they still dropped them. Anyone could have come by and stolen them. Called to complain and the person answering the phone said Ill let the boss know. She never even apologized and as of yet the boss has not called either. Will never frequent this establishment again.

This was the easiest and fastest landscaping transaction Ive had. I stopped in and told them what I needed and they had it delivered within the HOUR! I highly recommend this company!

Huge mistake ordering two cords of wood from this place. Was told they would call before delivering to make sure someone is home. They called while IN our driveway with nobody home. They decided to dump the giant pile of wood in the middle of the driveway. Incompetent, rude, unprofessional.

They brought 10 yards of mulch in a pickup truck. Let me say that again...10 yards of mulch in a pickup truck with tall sides. Needless to say, it was not 10 yards worth.

Have not used their landscape supply services but Do NOT utilize their snow plowing service. Luckily it’s been a mild winter but the first time they plowed the wrong driveway and then the next two times it was more of a dusting than a plow. Their tire tracks left more of a mark than their actual plow!! I’ll be calling today to ask for a refund for my prepaid snow plowing services.Follow up to my call: I requested politely to speak to the owner who wasn’t in. The guy on the phone instantly started arguing with me when I explained my dissatisfaction then he proceeded to yell at me. Filing a complaint with the better business bureau now!

After calling to complain about the plowing service, I was called a liar, cursed at, and insulted. The owner hung up on me several times. The plow person at the house offered much better customer service than the owner.

Was hesitant to order due to reviews. However, price with delivery was better than other places I called. I ordered 5 yards of composted cow manure and it was delivered the next day (could have been same day). Customer service while ordering was very friendly. Gentlemen delivering was also friendly and professional. He dumped into my garden where requested. Product seems great! Thank you!

Wish I could give 0 stars, because thats how much work they did on my riding mower after I paid them in advance to pick it up and correct a mowing alignment issue. Waited four days for them to pick up the mower, paid in advance on pickup, paid an additional fee when they dropped off the mower, and the mower has exactly the same problem as it did before. After multiple calls Im on the fourth day waiting for them to return and pick the mower up to make things right. I doubt Ill ever see them. I wish I had read these reviews before I gave them the business.

Will be taking legal action against this business! I paid to have my lawn mower tuned up and repaired. Originally, they told me it would take two weeks for the tune up and repair. It ended up taking 3 and a half weeks with no phone calls or explanations! I kept getting the run around that I would be recieving a phone call and never did. I finally got my lawn mower back, mowed about half my yard and the lawn mower died and wont start up! When I called the next day to talk to someone, the guy had the audacity to accuse me of fowling out the plug. They were supposed to pick the lawn mower back up the next day! Its been a week and it hasnt been picked up! I would strongly recommend going somewhere else! This place is a joke and has no sense of a moral compass. $150 bucks wasted. AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM IF POSSIBLE!!

I am not one to write reviews, but I want to warn others of the crooks that run this establishment. Charging for services that are not done and the lack of knowledge of the so called mechanics are a joke. The owner is very arrogant and rude. Do not use this place for anything if you can help it.

My husband ordered a yard of crushed dolomite and a yard of sand to be delivered to our home Saturday, May 12th for a project we will be completing over the next week. Unfortunately, while he was in the office placing the order, and giving specific directions for a delivery on Saturday, our supplies were delivered yesterday, May 10, which is Thursday; a few days ahead of when we had asked for this to be delivered. We were both at work when the occurred, so we were not able to say we werent ready for this. We had a car in our garage, which was now barricaded in unless we choose to drive over our lawn to get it out of there, as well as patio bricks being delivered today, which were going to be delivered in the space where the dirt and dolomite was piled. My husband called to speak with someone at the store, and she was very rude, and in fact, told him there were no notes as to when to deliver. As a matter of fact, she was the one he placed the order with. She simply said Im not sure what you want me to do about it to which he replied so basically youre telling me its my problem? She then said yes He asked for an owner, and she claimed to be the owner. This is quite discouraging, because if this is the kind of business an owner wants to portray, I wish you luck in future endeavors. I understand nothing can be done about what was already done (ie the piles in my driveway) however, even a token of apology, or even an offer of future services was never mentioned or offered. Sadly, this will be our last time using your company for any services. I should also point out that good customer service goes a long way, however, bad customer service goes even further. If you remember the story a few months back about Great Lakes Fresh Market, and the mouse tunnel all the way through the bread, and the customers returning the bread to have the manager laugh about it, well that was me! I will choose not to bash the company on social media, but I hope you are aware of how easy it is to put a bad mark out there for a business, especially when you dont hold a monopoly for particular product in this region!

Zero stars. I wish I would have read reviews before taking our riding lawnmower there. They had it a month claiming a part was backordered. We paid over a hundred dollars up front for a tune-up, oil change, and pickup and delivery. After a month we called several times and each time we were told he would call us back and he never did. We ended up having to find a trailer to pick it up as they didnt bring it back on the day they promised. We took it to a reputable place who got the part in 2 days. They said that no tune-up or oil change had been done on it so we paid for services that werent done. Horrible and not honest.

Terrible!!! Dumped my rocks at another location never called before delivering never had anyone sign for delivery. Would not do anything to resolve problem.

Brought my mower in for tune up and repair. Waited 5 days for a call. Called them, the person said they called me. Asked what number, they gave me the wrong one. I told them that, she said, Well, I called somebody and told them. Got the mower, and the problem I asked them to look at wasnt addressed. No wonder they want you to pay in advance.

Have used them for several years for yard clean up, plowing and irrigation service. Not perfect, but neither are any other services weve used. They do what they say they will do and have responded well to our requests for timing of service a few times.

Terrible service. Ordered over the phone, described exactly where we wanted dirt dumped. It is quite obvious as we have a huge area in our yard dug out. They dumped it at the end of our driveway so that we cannot even enter our driveway, and now we have to shovel and relocate all the dirt. I called first thing this morning and explained what happened and asked to speak with a manager. Never got a sorry, and never got a call back. Also we ordered 5 yards and its more like 2-3 yards. Terrible service. I started talking with friends and someone uses them for yard work and snow removal and she has also had terrible service with them. They are cheaper in town than others for a reason, you get what you pay for. DO NOT give them your business!

Theres a reason they only have bad reviews. Ordered some sod delivered and about 10% of it was dead upon rolling it out. Called and they said give it a few more days. Watched the dead grass stay dead over the next few days and watched another 10% die. Called them back and they said they dont guarantee sod. Needed to order some more landscape supplies, but will be calling someone else. Save yourself the trouble and do the same.

This place is horrible!!! My grandma had these guys plow her driveway and they would only come at 2am. So some days they wouldnt come because there wasnt snow at 2am but there was at 10am!! We paid for them to come that day and they would never come. We never picked the time and believe me I wouldnt have picked 2am, which isnt fair. Not to mention we paid for them to shovel her walk way to the house and that was only done a few times and when it was done it was not done well. When we called to complain about it, they had an attitude and said that it has always been like that. No wonder why they have horrible reviews on here.

Landscape Supplies of Muskegon on Airline rd has the worst customer service. Do not ever use them. I hired a driver with a tractor for 2 hours to Simply clear this area and lower it 4 to 6 in. Mind you I stopped twice to check on him to make sure hes doing it right and had to correct him. So now my area that was supposed to be my low spot in my yard is now my high spot in my yard. When i spoke to the owner, who screamed at me for 15 minutes, he said that its my fault. That Im the supervisor and Im the guys boss. Ive never seen customer service this poor in my entire life.When you tell someone to dig a hole and then they go fill the hole, what do you do?

Wish Id seen the bad reviews before hiring them for a yard clean up. First warning sign was requiring payment before work was complete. Then then they only did half the job quoted. Followed up with response from horrible rude employees. Worst company Ive ever dealt with. Do not give them any business.

We have purchased and had delivered mulch, compost and top soil from Landscape Supplies for the past few years. They have always been friendly and courteous - on the phone, at the desk and the drivers. Their deliveries have always been on time and exactly where we asked them to dump the loads (all have been at least 5yds). This past weekend (06/04) we had 5yds of mulch delivered and about halfway through decided we were going to need more, so I called and they had no problem delivering another 5yds that day. They were busy, but set the expectation that it would be a couple of hours (not a problem) and in a couple of hours, there they were with the new load - just as we were finishing the first one. TL;DR - All of my experiences have been great. I have and will continue to recommend in the future.

This guy is arrogant, rude and doesnt care if he has your business or not. Stay away from here if you can....!!!

Saw their ad in buyers guide, $59.95 for riding lawn mower service. Suppose to be oil change, lube, blades sharpened and carb cleaning. Got my tractor back and noticed fittings werent lubed, so I decided to check my oil before mowing and found no oil in my crank case. Called them up and told lady that I was not happy with their so called service and no oil in my tractor, she told me that I didnt have to come back again if I wasnt happy.So, I called back asking to speak to owner, she told me that he didnt want to speak with and appruptly hung up on me. No wonder they make you pay up front before they do any work on your tractor. Buyer beware, these people didnt do what I paid them to do and almost burned up my motor had I not checked to make sure that it was properly serviced. No way to run a business and could care less if you come back. Never again!!!!!!!

BUSINESS REVIEW:Just putting a shout out to anyone looking for landscaping supplies.DO NOT GO TO LANSCAPING SUPPLIES ON AIRLINE RD. Heres our story. We ordered top soil, 5 yards to be delivered. Lee instructed the girl taking the order to deliver AFTER 2pm today and that he WOULD be there. Well, he arrived back home at 11:30, soil was already there. (Now, anyone who knows our yard, we have a HUGE driveway, atleast 300 feet wide by 100 feet deep). I just had a new slab of cement laid, where I park my car, in front of the house. So where do you think they dumped this soil - on the new Slab of cement. Are you freaking kidding me? So, I call Landscaping Supplies and ask for a manager. So after I explain what happens, she puts me on hold to talk with the girl who took the order. Shelly says, she asked the girl if there were any delivery instructions and she said no, none other then the home owner would be there when the delivery arrives, but the driver admits that there was no one there. So I say to Shelly, so when you made this order, I assume you took down our phone number. Shelly, yes. So when the driver arrives and there is no one there, why wouldnt he call the number on the work order to atleast ask where this soil should be dumped? Shelly says, the drivers are the eyes out there and we leave it up to them to where it should dumped. I say, well I think you need to have your policies changed that when the driver is expecting the home owner to be there upon delivery and they are not, that driver needs to call the number on that work order. Shelly says, well I will let the owner know. I say, what is the owners name? She says, I WILL LET THE OWNER KNOW. I say, and what is the owners name? She says, good bye. So because they are not a part of the BBB, FB is the next best thing. So my husband then called back, talked to the girl. She wanted to argue. He told her that clearly she was not paying attention. She put him on hold and got Nick on the phone. Nick starts the conversation with telling my husband that hes not getting a discount and that is all he is looking for. Then hangs up on him. Lee called back, Nick answered and Lee said, your real professional.Nick says, your only looking for a discountand your not getting one. Lee says, no all I want is for you to get your equipment over here and move this soil to where I wanted it. Nick says, well your not getting that and hangs up. By the way, I gave this review a 1, but once I submit it makes it a 2.5. Edited my review, it definately says 1, but shows it as a 2.5. Hmmmmmm, interesting.

Terribly rude and unprofessional. Recently purchased our home from a gentleman who purchased a year contract with them, the contract was paid in full and transferred to us. Everytime I call they pretend to not have my information or know who am, even though they have called me at my number to confirm services and have also mailed receipts to my address and correct name. They spend a bunch of time transferring me around to varies other people only to end up acting as if I interrupted their day and am an inconvenience. Today I was yelled at and insulted to the point it left me in tears and I had to hang up.

Very poor quality of work. They refuse to come and redo their poor work when people can not get in the driveway which they always leave clogged. Clients have actually had to hire other people to come and clean up their mess.

Scammers. Terrible people. Scum. Dont give them business!SO heres my experience:Came in for HDPE pipe sections for $5 a pop. Told the front desk lady I had no experience with pipe and asked her if it was a good deal, she replied saying if you buy it anywhere else they sell it in rolls. Ok, I thought, this stuff must be a hot commodity in pieces, so cool, i buy 15$ (roughly 12 feet) of pipe. The pipe has DIRT all over it, she says its used but not to worry cause only water went through it. Ok, im fine with dirt, whatever. So I stop by a True Value hardware on the way home to buy a pipe cutter,,,, the guy asks me what kind of pipe and shows me a huge roll of HDPE pipe, BRAND NEW, SOLD BY THE FOOT, FOR 75 cents per foot. NOT covered in dirt, NOT used, BRAND new pipe for HALF the cost these con artists are selling their junk USED pipe for.I check my receipt and it says all sales final so i call back on monday (today) and speak with the manager, explaining to him that his front desk lady lied to me, that im not happy with my purchase and would like to return it. I tell him they are charging twice as much for used pipe as new pipe should cost, and he tells me aggressively its NOT used pipe. I can see where you bought it from in our front display and that is extra pieces cut off the ends of rolls. I tell him the lady told me it was used, AND its even covered in dirt! He yells ITS NOT USED PIPE AND ITS NOT COVERED IN DIRT, and no you cannot return it to the store.... and then hangs up on me. He freaking hung up on me!?? I called back immediettly to tell him id write a bad review, and he picked up and immedietly hung up. SO i called back a 3rd time, the lady answered the phone, and accused ME of being a con artist LOLOLOL These guys need to go out of business, and based on their other crummy reviews id say they should be going under soon. Dont do business with these horrible people. scammers. How are you going to sell used pipe, covered in dirt, for TWICE the price of brand new pipe, and lie to the customer to make the sale?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! ScammersPaid almost $300 to have our driveway & side walk plowed at our house in Muskegon (so its not like they were that far). When I went to check on the house after it has snowed 4 days before that, NOTHING WAS DONE.

Do not buy rock or anything else here. Ordered rock for our lakefront. Half the load was nothing but fine gravel and unusable tiny rocks. I called and told them they could credit me half the price or come get the rest of the pile. The receptionist laughed and said “yeah, that’s not going to happen”.I recommend R &R Landscape supply on Commerce for dirt and rock. We had great service, delivery and quality, usable 4-8” limestone delivered from R&R last week. Nothing like the disaster we received from Landscape Supply. Horrible business and not interested in customer service. Total scammers.
